“Katherine was great. She filled a last minute need for us over the holiday weekend. She asked a lot of questions - which was great - to make sure we were on the same page. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Maggie did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Toby! She was very communicative and effectively followed our instructions. We also appreciated all the cute photos she sent of him during her check-ins. If you need a pet sitter, I highly recommend her! :)”

About: I am a broke, bored, animal loving college student with over 3 years experience offering the best personalized care for your pet’s needs. From energetic puppies to disabled seniors, I am no stranger to diverse personalities and elaborate care plans. With my dedication to ensuring a pets physical and mental enrichment, I have never left a job without making a new furry friend! 🐶🐱 I offer free meet and greets before any booking is confirmed. It’s a great chance for you and your pet to get comfortable with me first, ask any questions, and make sure everyone feels at ease with the process. My goal is to build trust from the start so you can feel confident and worry free with your pets care. I am currently a full time student, and work a part time job. I update my Rover calendar as my work schedule comes out. Although that sounds like a lot, I have enough time to have a pet side hustle, my classes start late, and my responses are quick. If our schedules align, I am the perfect help for your furry friend. 🐕🦺🦮 As a pet owner myself to two very unique personalities, I understand the importance of a personalized and attentive pet sitter, as well as how special those photo updates can be. Building trust with your pet is essential, and I make sure to tailor activities and stimulation to their species and individual personalities. You can trust your beloved pet will receive the highest level of attentive, safe, and clean care with me! 🐾
“Desiree is a wonderful dog sitter! She is extremely knowledgable, enthusiastic, and kind. She is an excellent communicator, always letting me know exactly how my puppy did, what commands they practiced, and when she arrives/leaves. I have peace of mind that my puppy is in great hands when I’m nor there. I love that she helps him practice leash-walking and his commands, plays with toys, and even sets up developmentally-appropriate games with him.”

“Anne was able to look after our skittish little guy on short notice. She is pleasant, thoroughly professional, punctual, and wrote a thorough and entertaining narrative. Overall great experience!”

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and have 2+ experience petsitting dogs with special needs. I'm the mom of two whites tree frogs, so I'm also well versed with reptiles and other exotic pets! I'm comfortable with all sorts of critters, not just fur-babies! Reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, and arachnids are all included and well loved in my care. I work part time, usually nights, and take classes during the week day. Friday-Sunday I am almost always free full time to watch your pet. If care is needed weekday, depending on how much time is required, I can visit before, after, and between classes to feed, check in, and let out for the bathroom. I'm well experienced with feeding schedules, administering medication, potty breaks/cleaning litter boxes, and keeping spaces clean and tidy! I strive to leave homes I visit better than I found it. I'm also known for taking lots of silly pictures of your pet to send alongside daily updates.
“Leah was absolutely awesome! She was extremely accommodating and even took care of our hamster. Flash enjoyed his walks and hanging out with her. If you need someone to take care of your pets, definitely contact Leah. We will ask her to help us out again in the future.”

“Ashley took care of my cat Callie while I visited my family out of state for a few days. She followed my instructions and paid attention to all the details I asked of her. Ashley was prompt and posted pictures of Callie each and every visit. Was so nice to feel comfortable while I was away that she was well taken care of. Ashley was by far the best sitter I have ever had for Callie.”

About: Hi, Carson here. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion with animals. Since I was a kid, I’ve never had a day without a pet accompany in my life. Over the past 30 years, I had 4 dogs and 3 cats, and currently with my wife Casey we have 2 cats. All of our fur babies were either strays or coming from shelters. We always wanted to do more for the animals and with years of experience in taking care of animals with all ages we think this is a good place for us to take the first step of our calling. I am a business consultant who works from home so my schedule is very flexible and can accommodate your schedule during the weekdays as wells as weekends. As fur parents, we understand how anxious and uneasy it can be when you have to travel away from your fur babies. We assure you that we would treat your pets like our own and take good care of them so you can have a peace of mind and enjoy your time away worry free.
About: During my senior year of high school, I took care of my aunt’s senior dog while she was in another country. I’ve known this dog for around six years and she was very comfortable with me during the entirety of her stay. I took her on walks every morning and night, always cleaned her after outings, and made sure to change her diaper every 2 hours. Because she was older, she made mistakes so I made sure that I always cleaned up after her and that she had a clean diaper. Whenever I meet a friend or family member’s dog, I always have a wonderful time with them. Sometimes, I take them on walks or play with them in the backyard. I’ve never had a negative experience with a dog and their owners always make sure to tell me that! I'm back home for the summer and have a lot of free time on my hands. I’d like to make sure my time during the summer is spent productively, preferably helping someone out with their furry friend. I always keep a constant eye on whoever I’m watching. I always make sure that their potty pad is clean, their water and food is replenished, and they aren’t exhibiting any health problems. It’s very important to me that the pet I’m watching feels comfortable and happy with me.

“Megan is fantastic. She communicates so well and remained flexible as my plans changed. She also went out of her way to make sure my water fountain was working! Will definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for all creatures big and small, dogs, cats, rodents, fish, reptiles, and even horses, so I am no stranger to the unique qualities of different animals! 🐾💛I’m the type of person to have conversations with any animal as if they understand what i’m saying.. sometimes I swear they do! ☺️ I’ll make sure to go the extra mile for any pet, I have plenty of experience handling senior dogs and cats, as well as administering oral medication to them. My ultimate goal is to make sure your babies are safe, loved, and comfortable while you are away, and to hopefully become theirs (and yours..) favorite sitter! 💗 I am currently a full time pre-med student with only about 2 classes a day, no classes on Fridays or weekends, so there are only about three hours a day I am not available, but no matter what I will always prioritize the safety of your pet. I’m willing to stay with them all day or make multiple visits a day as needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and two very small friendly dogs, my house and yard have lots of running room! If I am needed to come to your home I will follow all instructions you give me and ensure a safe environment, I like to provide my client with frequent pictures of their pets while caring for them to provide peace of mind that their babies are okay. I know that every pet is different and I always make sure to check their body language and determine if they want space, are stressed, or want pets!!
About: Dogs have been a part of my life since day one! I grew up with all kinds of pups—from tiny Yorkies to gentle Great Danes—so I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities. Right now, I care for an 8-year-old Labrador and a playful 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel, both on a fresh food diet inspired by The Forever Dog Life. As a certified pet nutrition specialist, I love helping dogs live their healthiest, happiest lives. We enjoy weekly dog park visits, cuddles, and tons of tail-wagging fun! Pet care is a big part of my weekly routine! I only work two days a week, which means I have plenty of time to give your pup lots of love, attention, and play. Whether it’s weekday walks, weekend cuddles, or regular park visits, I’m flexible and fully dedicated to keeping your dog happy and safe while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities! I live in a quiet, gated community with a cozy backyard for fresh air and potty breaks. I also have a 7-seat car perfect for safe, comfortable trips to the nearby dog park—less than 10 minutes away! My dogs go on daily walks and enjoy at least one dog park adventure each week. Whether your pup is staying with me or I’m visiting your home, I always create a loving, calm, and secure environment.

Jenn, Thank you so much for checking on Pepper while I was in Louisiana. She had a change in her normal behavior while I was away and you kept me updated and were super responsive and generally just wonderful. I really appreciate the pet report card and the pictures and all of it! Thank you so much

Linda went above and beyond to take care of our two kitties! She was always on time and provided wonderful updates during each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She even brought her own toys and blankets to keep the kitties comfortable and entertained between visits. We truly appreciate how caring, thoughtful, and reliable Linda is, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful and trustworthy pet sitter!

Very happy with Tonia's care of my somewhat cantankerous orange tabby. Drop in photos were provided daily with some of the best pics ever! Communication about visits was timely and very thorough. I really appreciate the details she provided about how my cat behaved during each visit. Tonia is patient and calm and developed a rapport with my pet at his own pace. I returned home to a very calm cat with no drama or isolating behaviors. This tells me he trusted Tonia and liked her care for him.

Xu is truly remarkable! She took exceptional care of my 6 kitties! They are all super shy and some are skittish, but they all came out to see Xu!! This is unprecedented! She was super prompt, extremely detailed in her care, and so kind and sweet both to me and my kitties. She’s a real gem!

We always turn to Ashley first for pet care for our two cats! She is extremely reliable, communicative, kind, reassuring, and proactive. It bring so much peace of mind when she is caring for our cats because we never have to worry, and her communication and thoughtfulness are incredible!

We had a great experience with Regina! She took wonderful care of our cat while we were away for a week. Communication was excellent, and it gave us peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and would definitely recommend Regina’s services. Thank you!

Mirae is the cat whisperer! My kitties are so shy that they hide from everybody. The minute someone comes to the door they are just streaks diving under the bed. But they let Mirae pet them and even asked for attention. Mirae was faithful to the times I requested and sent pictures so I could see how good the kitties were.doing. I will definitely be using Mirae’s services again!

We went on a trip for a few days and Karyn helped us care for our 5-year old cat, Luna. Karyn is compassionate and loving, who takes great care of Luna. Karyn communicates well and is very responsive. We are 100% satisfied and we would recommend her service to friends.

Akiera was absolutely exceptional. From the start, she was professional, responsive, and clearly experienced with cats. She kept us updated consistently with photos and detailed messages, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our cat was calm, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her presence. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I would confidently recommend Akiera to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and attentive cat sitter. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
