Maggie was amazing with our 5 month old puppy. Our puppy suffers from major separation anxiety, and she didn’t cry once when Maggie was with her! She was very nice and accommodating. Definitely will be using her again in the future

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I remember! I have had both large (double my weight as a child) and small dogs, I have fostered two kittens, and have enjoyed the company of several other smaller pets. I am a trustworthy caretaker that is comfortable around all pets, am willing to adapt and learn, and am grateful in advance for the opportunity to connect with your pets. I am also very active and can walk (or jog with) your pets for however long is suitable to their routine. When I come to care for your pet, I will ensure they have my full attention and care. I have my own dog at home (an Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Maltese, Shih Tzu mix) that keeps my life exciting! I currently work part-time during my gap year, and have lots of free time to spend with your furry friends. I am also flexible and can accept last-minute bookings. I look forward to meeting your pets! I am currently working part-time before going to medical school, so I have lots of free time and am very flexible! Spending time with your animals would be the best pastime for me! I can follow your specific protocols to ensure your dog, your house, and your belongingd are all kept safe, comfortable, and happy! I also always maintain a stream of communication.

Katherine took great care of Ruffy and Ranger. She left the house cleaner then she found it and even bathed the dogs per our request which we really appreciated. She’s very pleasant and has a warm carrying energy about her. We especially like that she has vet tech experience since Ranger is a senior and currently recovering from ACL surgery that gave us extra piece of mind. I would definitely recommend Katherine if you want a worry, free weekend getaway, knowing your dogs are in good hands.

We have a very active 60 lb. dog who requires a daily hike. Tina took Hazel out for an hour each day, and when it proved too hot in the afternoon she switched to mornings. She followed all of our requests and Hazel really liked Tina. She (Tina, not Hazel) left the house clean and tidy. We have already made arrangements to hire Tina again. We recommend her wholeheartedly.

About: Hi there! ☺️ I was raised with cats, dogs, and birds most of my childhood. When I got into adulthood, I rescued a female Seal-point Siamese kitten. A couple years later, I rescued a male orange Tabby kitten. I raised and trained those two together. A few years later, I rescued a 4 year old Bichon Poodle mix, who ended up becoming my soul dog. After 10 amazing years and numerous vet visits for various illnesses and eventually cancer (we did doggy chemo), she crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 I now have a rescued 2 year old Schnauzer Poodle mix and my heart is full again. ❤️ All of this is to say that I have varied experience with different breeds of pets of all ages and all seasons of life. Everyone who knows me knows that if you have a pet at home and I come over, I will attempt to befriend them or admire them from afar, whichever they prefer! 😊 I’m a teacher who is currently on summer break and I have a small side business revamping vintage furniture, so my availability is very open! My focus would mainly be on caring for pets in clients’ homes. I care for the pets is by giving them a lot of love and attention, lots of pets, playtime, and really whatever your specific pet needs. I would also ask the pet parents what their preferences/expectations are for how to best take care of their pet during the sit.

Xu cared for my dog (55lb puppy) and cat for a week in my home. She communicated well and sent photos and videos. My dog had diarrhea in his crate the first night and she cleaned it really well and offered to give him some of her own dogs’ probiotics to help him. She took him outside several times each day, and even took him on a field trip to play with her dogs (with my permission). Xu cared for my pets like they were her own and I would absolutely trust her to care for them again.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets and homes for over 15 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, senior pets, medication administration, and multi-pet households. I’m excited to bring that experience to Rover and build lasting relationships with local pet families. (: FUN FACT: I have the same birthday as Caesar Milan, so I’m kinda like a dog whisperer 🤪 I’m a housewife with no pets or children of my own. I do theater every now and then but overall my schedule is wide open and ready to share the love and care necessary for your furry companion. I’m not sure why Rover says I don’t allow animals on the furniture. I don’t mind unless it’s a rule within your home to keep them down (: I will honor all of your wishes with caring for your loved one and treat them as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard and safe neighborhood for walks. Your furry friends will be protected and their comfort is always going to be top priority whether in your home or mine. (:

What an incredible in-home experience! Not accustomed to being left alone, Gilly our Basset Hound is gleeful when she comes through the door after her first day sitting. She is sensitive to all his requests and needs. He is one happy dog. She devotes every moment to your pup and comes up with great experiences to keep them content and entertained She respects your boundaries for your pet with love. He has been through a lot of major changes the last few years and can be anxious when something new comes along. With Britney, he is so calm and has all the confidence in the world she will protect him. Britney is very knowledgeable and communicates very well. We highly recommend her and wish she was our human caretaker. We will hire her again and again.

About: Hello, my name is Maira and I’m a life long animal lover. I’ve had all kinds of pets and cared for everything from turtles to fish, hamsters and birds, a rabbit, cats and dogs. Although I love all animals, Dogs are where my heart melts! I’ve taken care of friend’s dogs as well as helped friends and family basic train their small and large breed dogs. I have 10+ years of experience with dogs of all sizes and ages including my 90lb high energy Doberman which taught me a lot. If you remember one thing from my page I hope it’s this; I will take care of your furry babies as if they were my own. Monday through Friday I am available 6:30am - 6:30pm to care for your furry family. Saturdays and Sundays I am available 7:00am -7:00pm. If you need me outside of this time frame please let me know. During a drop in visit, I let your fur child out for a potty breaks and ensure they have plenty of water, food, and treats (if you okay the treats before hand) then hang out, play, and love on them for the remainder of the 30mins. During a walk booking, I will pick up your dog for a walk around the neighborhood. Which can be part structural and part sniffing to mentally stimulate and not just physically work out. The goal is a happy healthy pupper (and yes a 10 y/o is still a pupper) you will receive photos of our adventures and a message informing you how your baby’s walk went. Rain or Shine! Your Dog’s safety is my top priority. If it’s too hot or it is raining we will alter our walks with either a rain jacket or walking indoors at a near by pet friendly store. I am prepared with towels, plenty of water and a pet first aid kit should we ever need anything.

She also took very good care of the home. Tiffany went above and beyond caring for Mikey while we were away. This was the first time I had ever left him, so I was naturally nervous, but she completely put me at ease from the start. She sent continuous photo updates, which meant so much and allowed me to see how happy and comfortable he was throughout his stay. Tiffany is incredibly organized, attentive, and meticulous in her care. It was obvious that she truly cared about Mikey's well-being and treated him like family. Knowing he was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. I cannot recommend Tiffany highly enough and will absolutely trust her with Mikey again in the future.

Highly Recommend Jackie! Jackie was absolutely fantastic with our two dogs! From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly conscientious—taking detailed notes about their schedules and asking thoughtful questions to ensure they received the exact care they needed. She provided regular daily updates, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Both dogs were wonderfully cared for, but what impressed us most was how she handled our more anxious pup. She usually gets very stressed when the family leaves, but she was completely relaxed, happy, and at ease with Jackie. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Vince was great with our dogs . Took them for couple of walks a day, played with. Our bigger boy(62lbs) Pascal doesn’t always like men he doesn’t know but by the pictures of him playing that got along great. He had problems managing our 2 furry babies-60 and 40 lbs. We could not be more pleased. Davin was really patient with Penny, our senior German shepherd rescue. He regularly texted updates to let us know how things were going. He’s super responsible and kind. We’ll definitely ask for Davin again. When we got home after two weeks away Penny was calm — none of the stress I would expect from kenneling. What a find!
