“I am glad Kayla was able to sit my baby husky, Scale. I was able to do my errands without worrying about Scale. I love the pictures Kayla sent to update me of Scale's status. When I got home, Scale was calm and happy. I will recommend Kayla with my friends and relatives and definitely want her to sit Scale again.”

“Jazmine took such great care of my babies while we were out on the 4th of July! She was very communicative and followed all care instructions. She also kept my dogs entertained and comfortable during despite all the fireworks in our neighborhood. We’d definitely book her again!”

“Holly was an amazing dog sitter. She constantly kept me updated on the status of my puppies as I enjoyed the day with my family in Disneyland. My puppies are only four months old, too young to be with other dogs and be outside. Holly watched them in our hotel suite because of that. I live in Northern California and it was nice to have someone who cared for my puppies like I would. I highly recommend hiring Holly and I will definitely retain her services in the future.”

“This was my first time using a pet sitter and Livio was absolutely amazing! We were spoiled with tons of photos every day, which put my mind at ease since we were gone for quite some time. We look forward to using Livio and his wife again.”

“Kaylynn stayed overnight and took wonderful care of my two BIG strong breed dogs- Pitt Bull and Bull terrier. —-she loves animals! Also took great care of my home and cleaned dogs dishes. Highly recommend her.”

About: Please feel free to dm me so I can give you my number so we can discuss booking if you're not wanting to book with rover due to the fees. Thanks! I have experience in veterinary clinic settings, including handling and assisting with patient care, which has strengthened my understanding of animal behavior and safety. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic young pets and senior animals who need a gentler, more patient approach. I also make sure routines like feeding, medications, and exercise are followed closely so pets stay comfortable and consistent while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my routine alongside a full-time work schedule. I’m available for visits after work (5PM) on weekdays, and I also have open availability for longer care stays on weekends. I make it a priority to plan my schedule in advance so I can consistently provide reliable care and attention for each pet I take on. I provide care based on each pet’s routine and needs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after whether I’m in their home or out on a walk. For drop-ins and in-home visits, I follow the owner’s instructions closely—feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up as needed, giving medication if required, and spending time with the pet through play or companionship so they’re not just cared for but also comforted. I also keep the home tidy and make sure everything is secure before I leave. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match the dog’s energy level, whether that’s a relaxed stroll or a more active walk for exercise and stimulation. Overall, I prioritize consistency, safety, and communication, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own.
“Esther was fantastic with our cats! We were away for two weeks and left her in charge of our four cats, each with very specific care instructions. She was incredibly attentive to all our needs and followed every note closely. Her communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring throughout our trip. All of our cats were happy, comfortable, and well-cared for in her hands. My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing our pets were safe and content. We highly recommend Esther to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“I should say they are the worst dog sitters ever because we want them all to ourselves!!! Our dogs ABSOLUTELY LOVE their Auntie Chelsea and Uncle Richard. We recently adopted a dog who is usually a little skittish…but not with her Auntie and Uncle. They love them like their own..Cuddles and pets and lots of spoils! They should get a 10 start…5 isn’t enough!”

“Jennifer came and took care of our very fearful Belgian Malinois Sophie while we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. Jennifer did a great job with Sophie. It took Sophie a day and a half or so to warm up to Jennifer which is as good as we can expect from our fearful dog. Jennifer was patient with Sophie and gave Sophie enough distance and time to get comfortable with a new person in the house. Jennifer communicated well with us and took our advice on how to deal with our difficult dog to heart.”

“Jade took great care of our senior GSD for 6 days. She communicated with us about Buzo's feeding schedule and made sure that he's fed on time. I'd highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. :)”

About: I've had a love for animals as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Miniature Pinscher and Pit Bull. I currently own a German Shepard so I can handle dogs both small and large and will treat them as my own. From long walks to cuddles I will match your dog's energy and routine! I'm currently a full-time student so I have a very flexible schedule. There is plenty of time for drop-ins, walks, and quality time with your dog throughout the day/week. I am open to anytime during the day. I have a German Shepard who is turning 6 this year! He is very active so I'm used to high-energy dogs. I always want pets to feel safe and stress-free in their own home. When caring for dogs in your home, I will follow their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any other special instructions. I'm respectful of both your home and your pets needs and I'll make sure they get plenty of attention and updates while you're away.

“Kimi was awesome! She was very caring, responsible and communicative. My dogs warmed up to her quickly. Happy to work with her again in the future! She takes the best photos of pups! So fun getting beautiful photos of our pups while we were gone and missing them!”

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets and homes for over 15 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, senior pets, medication administration, and multi-pet households. I’m excited to bring that experience to Rover and build lasting relationships with local pet families. I do theater every now and then but overall my schedule is wide open and ready to share the love and care necessary for your furry companion. I’m not sure why Rover says I don’t allow animals on the furniture. I don’t mind unless it’s a rule within your home to keep them down (: I will honor all of your wishes with caring for your loved one and treat them as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard and safe neighborhood for walks. Your furry friends will be protected and their comfort is always going to be top priority whether in your home or mine. (:

“Jessica was wonderful and so sweet and attentive to our fur babies! They were very happy and calm after us being away from home about 8hours! We were happy to pay her the all night service fee, even though she was not at her home all night. She did a wonderful job and in the future when we have long engagements that will be away for or vacation we will definitely be using Jessica.!”

Buena Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first experience with Rover and a pett sitter. Not only would I highlighly recommend them both if you like us do not leave your dogs at home but find yourself having to figure out what to do on vacation. Sofia was amazing, after our initial meeting and she arrived on time sent us pictures during the day. If we are ever in the Anaheim area again and need a pet sitter she will be the person I will call.
Hye took wonderful care of my dog Alec for four nights, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly very attentive to Alec’s needs the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and photos. It made me feel confident that he was happy, comfortable, and in great hands while I was away. When I got home, Alec was relaxed and clearly well cared for, which says everything. Hye is kind, responsible, and clearly loves animals. I would absolutely trust her to watch Alec again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable sitter.

Erika was great with our three dogs in Huntington Beach. They are all personalities and she took the responsibility very well in hand. She was great with communication and seeking to understand our preferences. Most importantly, our dogs seemed to love her and she gave them a lot of care and affection as well; thanks, Erika!

We recently learned about Rover, and until then it had been difficult for us to travel as a family. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy a wonderful trip. Jennifer is very charming and kind. She checked in on our pets and made sure they were comfortable, and she willingly accepted our requests even while we were traveling. She also kindly sent us photos of them every day. She took great care of our home and kept everything very clean, which we truly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Miranda took such great care of our three dogs while we were away! Our number one deterrent from taking a vacation for years was worrying about who would take care of our fur babies. Miranda put all our worries to rest. She was sweet and loving to them. They loved her and were so happy. Miranda gave us updates and lots of photos. What a relief to have sound Miranda!

Requested Bella last minute before our family went on vacation. Not only was she able to accommodate our needs which are relatively high during July 4th, she did so with so much care. We have 5 animals, 2 dogs, 3 cats who are fairly needy and stubborn. She handled them very well and had so much patience. Over the course of our vacation we received lots of updates on how they were doing and reassured us that they were okay. Bella is a nice and sweet girl who cares about animals and is very trustworthy, we would very much love to have her again!

We drove out to CA from Phoenix with our two fur babies for a family wedding. We knew we had to find someone to stay with them at our hotel while were at a wedding and hoped that we had chosen wisely. We DID! Liz was AWESOME! She met with us the day before to meet our girls. Great communication and on time. We could totally enjoy the happy event because we felt comfortable knowing that our girls were being taken care of by someone who truly cared about them and us. She was in contact during the night and even sent photos. We would hire her again and again every time we are in the area. You should too!
