About: I understand how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your pet with someone that you don’t even know! That’s why with me I’m gonna send daily updates, photos, and I’m gonna make sure your pet is able to stay in the same routine they’re used to so they don’t even realize that your gone! What separates me from others is the bond that I have with the pets when I care for them. I just don’t simply do my job, I go beyond the limits of what it takes to be a pet care provider. I build a bond, I show that I care, and I treat each and every pet that I meet with the love and respect that their own family members would. About: I’ve basically lived in a zoo since I was a child, ha! My family always had a variety of animals, including dogs and cats. I’m new to Rover, but have so much love for animals! I’m a doctoral graduate student, but on summer break! My availability is pretty open, and I’m always happy to spend time with fur babies! My dogs are completely spoiled! They’re family members and treated as such. Plenty of loving, belly rubs, and I’m a proud professional ear scritcher! They sleep inside (usually on top of me in some way). I walk them both daily, but it’s usually more like they walk me, ha! Also, my youngest has separation anxiety and my older dog is completely terrified of loud noises (fireworks, cars backfiring, etc.), so I’m also very patient with dogs that need a little bit of extra love and care.

About: I've been surrounded by animals since I was 6 years old and have always had a deep love and admiration for them. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I'm very familiar with daily care routines including feeding, walks, play time, basic grooming, administering medications if needed, and giving lots of attention and affection. I also care for a chinchilla and grew up spending time with my grandparents' cat, so I'm comfortable around different types of pets and their unique personalities. Although I'm new to professional pet sitting, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've even once considered becoming a vet tech because of how much I love spending time with animals. I'm responsible, attentive, and very detail-oriented, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their established routine as closely as possible to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walk times, medication instructions if needed, and any specific area preferences. I provide plenty of playtime, attention, and affection while also making sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I'm very respectful of clients' homes, keep everything clean and organized, and provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.

“Rebecca is a fantastic sitter who took great care of both our house and our new cat Baby Lizard. She sent us lots of photos, did face time calls when asked, stuck to our vet's dietary instructions, and gave Blizzard lots of cuddles but also just chill time and space. She also helped out with managing our home, taking out trash, cleaning litter boxes and making sure the house stayed safe while we were on our trip. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and caring for pets now is second nature. I raised and trained my own dog from puppyhood, giving me hands on experience with everything from potty training and basic commands to daily excersise, enrichment, and routine care. As a marathon runner, I am especially well suited for active and high energy dogs.
