“lissi did amazing with my cat bo and made sure he got all the love and attention he needs. she was really accommodating with the last min booking, would definitely have her again!”

About: I love animals and have been surrounded by them my whole life. Growing up I’ve had bunnies, dogs, kittens, and a variety of reptiles. I currently have a cat and a bearded dragon. Also I volunteer at the shelter to care and nurture the animals in need on my free time; I have experience with a variety of animals and breeds. I’m currently working a part time job, however it is very flexible. I am available mainly in the weekday/weekend mornings. I will do my best to accommodate to your needs! Regardless of which service you choose that I offer, your pets safety will always be my number one priority. As for pet sitting, I will constantly be with your pet. I will provide proper potty breaks and walks. Assuring that your pet always has fresh water available. I will maintain with all the special instructions given regarding medication and food. In case of any circumstance that I am not home with your pet, there will always be someone home to keep an eye of them. As for pet walking, I will always have your pet along my side whether it’s at the park or around the neighborhood.

“Yasmin was super awesome! She took excellent care of my senior kitty. It is hard to leave our baby, but she made us so comfortable. Will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

About: I have been around dogs since before I could walk! I've always had dogs while growing up. I work at an animal clinic and have been in the vet field for 9 years. As of right now I am very open and flexible with my current schedule. I am available almost any day / time of the week. I make sure to know where all pet supplies/medication and emergency contact numbers are located. I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets feeding/walking schedule. I also make sure to know whether the pet has any aggression issues towards other animals so I know how to handle the pet if I need to walk them or what not.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have one dog, and three cats at the moment. I love how they show their love and how they can really brighten up our days. I work at a school as an instructional assistant. So the pet care will have to be before and after work. I have weekends off. I care for my pets at home by walking my dog, playing outside with my dog, playing inside with my cats and their toys, they love the laser toy. I feed my animals morning and night and sometimes they get an afternoon snack. I love to relax with them on the couch while watching TV. I also allow them on my bed when it’s time to go to sleep.
“Angela does so great with my dogs. She updates me all the time and keeps my dogs happy. This is the second time Angela has taken care of my dogs and I will continue having her take care of my dogs.”

“Bonnie was excellent with my sometimes-anxious pup! She was on time for both visits and went above and beyond in how she cared for and interacted with Koko. Thank you, Bonnie!”

“Omolara took great care of my senior dog during the week I was away. She provided exercise, feeding, and clean-up of the space, when my dog couldn’t quite hold it. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“This was our first time using Rover and meeting Stefanie. Our kitties who are normally shy with other people took a liking to her really quickly. Stefanie was really thorough in making sure that she had all the information she would need while we were gone, and it was clear from her daily Rover Cards and communication that she really cared about taking great care of our kitties. We will definitely look for Stefanie the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“This was my first time using Rover so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Cleo was great to work with. She was super responsive and attentive to my cat. My Goldie typically doesn’t like people. She hides. I love that she provides pictures. Goldie didn’t hide and watched Cleo. That’s really a good start. This service was easy to use and I will definitely use Cleo again.”
About: I have my own 2 dogs I take care of. I’ve also had dogs in the past I looked after. I also sometimes take care of my sister’s pets. I love to take care of puppies. I have lots of patience and can train them to do simple tricks. I don’t mind taking care of either big or small dogs as all are welcomed. I have online classes for college where I just do the homework. A majority of it is done by Monday leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week. I work part-time as a cashier but currently only work one shift a week which is on Saturdays from 10-4 which leaves me with free time after work. I usually like to play with my dogs first and once they’re tired I relax with them and give them pets as they start to sleep. They have their feeding time and they do have commands to be able to eat but once they’re eating I let them be and make sure they don’t play right after eating. On a really hot day I’ll grab the hose and spray them gently (which my dogs love) and they’ll start to play with the water which helps cool them down. I’m really patient when it comes to bath time so if dogs get nervous during that I try to get them comfortable with what I’m doing and reward them after each step.
About: Cat mom to two spoiled kitties and trusted dog-sitter for my family’s allergy-prone pup. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or sticking to a detailed routine, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. No school, no 9-5. I work from my phone and laptop, and am in control of my own work schedule. I'm venturing into pet-sitting gigs to help fund my entrepreneurship journey. As a fellow pet owner, I know that the paranoia is REAL! I will always send pictures and videos, bug you with questions to be extra careful, and make the effort to build rapport and trust with my clients.
About: I provide private, one family at a time dog care in a calm, clean, and structured home environment. I am home full time, so your dog receives consistent supervision, a predictable routine, and truly individualized attention. This is not a high volume setting. Your dog is never rotated between multiple households or unfamiliar pets. Your dog is treated like a family member, not a booking slot. Because I care for only one family at a time, each stay is quiet, low stress, and thoughtfully managed. This approach is ideal for dogs who thrive on consistency, including seniors, sensitive personalities, or those who prefer a more relaxed environment. My home is clean, secure, and intentionally set up for comfort and structure. Days include walks, enrichment, and plenty of downtime. Dogs can sleep in their usual setup or nearby, depending on what helps them feel most at ease. I stay attentive and adjust care throughout the day to match each dog’s needs. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop ins, and dog walking throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. I’m always happy to answer questions or arrange a meet and greet to ensure the right fit. I maintain a flexible, home-centered schedule and structure my days around the pets in my care. This allows me to be present, responsive, and consistent throughout the day. I follow routines closely, communicate clearly, and pay careful attention to each pet’s comfort and safety. I accept only one family at a time and maintain a clean, secure environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, follow house rules, and keep everything clean and tidy.
About: I’ve cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities, needs, and routines. Over the years, I’ve fostered more than 20 dogs, giving me hands-on experience with everything from shy and anxious dogs to high-energy dogs who need extra patience, structure, and attention. That experience has taught me how to read a dog’s behavior, build trust, and adjust my approach based on what each pet needs to feel comfortable. I’m comfortable following different routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions, and I always take the time to make sure each dog feels safe and cared for. I also have my own dog, Hazey Mae, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and can give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, and care. I have a fenced yard where pets can safely get some outdoor time, and I’m also able to keep pets separated from my own dog if needed. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and needs. I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and supervised throughout their stay. In my home, I have a secure yard for outdoor time and can keep pets separated from my own dog when needed. I follow each pet’s routine and their owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and any specific needs. I also make sure pets have a calm, clean, and comfortable space where they can feel at home.
“Grisel was so kind and friendly, and I know our kitties enjoyed her visits. Her communication was excellent and she kept us well informed. She went above and beyond when having to deal with ANTS in the cat food, cleaning it up and saying it wasn't a big deal, but I'm sure it sucked. It was great to be able to enjoy our trip knowing our kitties were in good hands. We'll definitely hire her again.”

“Mariah did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Raisin, while my family and I were on vacation. Raisin can be a bit shy at first, but Mariah took the time to make her feel comfortable and gave her all the love and attention she needed. She kept us updated with regular messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. I could tell Raisin was well-cared for because she was happy and calm when we got home. Mariah went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Thank you, Mariah! Would definitely book with you again in the future!”

About: I understand how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your pet with someone that you don’t even know! That’s why with me I’m gonna send daily updates, photos, and I’m gonna make sure your pet is able to stay in the same routine they’re used to so they don’t even realize that your gone! What separates me from others is the bond that I have with the pets when I care for them. I just don’t simply do my job, I go beyond the limits of what it takes to be a pet care provider. I build a bond, I show that I care, and I treat each and every pet that I meet with the love and respect that their own family members would. It shouldn’t be any other way, and when you pick me to care for your pet you won’t regret it!

Lissi was great with Uno. She definitely went above and beyond with taking care of Uno. She was very communicative and responded very quickly when we set up the appointments. She took her time to let Uno feel comfortable and sent the best videos and pictures! We were also very happy that she was able to administer a daily pill. We would be happy to book Lissi again.

Jennifer was kind, caring, and compassionate. She treated sunny with care and love. In addition, she gave us daily updates on how sunny was doing. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner. Sunny is usually afraid of strangers, but she immediately warmed up to Jennifer . Jennifer was asked to administer a complicated set of instructions for care of sunny, including handling medication and specific food. She did this very well and we are well pleased with her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
