“Lissi was great with my cats. She took special care and sent sweet photos and videos each day. Each days messages were very meaningful while I was away. Will use her services moving forward! Thank you :)”

About: Cat mom to two spoiled kitties and trusted dog-sitter for my family’s allergy-prone pup. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or sticking to a detailed routine, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. No school, no 9-5. I work from my phone and laptop, and am in control of my own work schedule. I'm venturing into pet-sitting gigs to help fund my entrepreneurship journey. As a fellow pet owner, I know that the paranoia is REAL! I will always send pictures and videos, bug you with questions to be extra careful, and make the effort to build rapport and trust with my clients.

About: For over a decade I have honed my knowledge of how to care for cats and dogs in both a volunteer and professional job setting as a Kennel Attendant. Now I wish to use those skills to make sure your pets are pampered and healthy whike life takes you elsewhere! Its important for animals to stick to a routine so I make sure food, water, enrichment, and exercise are given everyday! During summer and winter holidays i'll be available full time. During spring and summer semester I'll have classes in the afternoon but excluding those few hours a day and making sure my own animals are cared for I should be available to make your animals the priority! Household rules differ so Id love to receive instructions on what you specifically want and need for me to prioritize! By default.I will feed and water your animals, provide company and enrichment, allow regular acess to restroom areas and provide at least two walks a day though I am welcome for requests for more!
“Bonnie was great with my dog, she was right on time for his visits and I could tell from the photos she would send that he was having fun. Would definitely reach back out to her again for taking care of my dog.”

“Yasmin was super awesome! She took excellent care of my senior kitty. It is hard to leave our baby, but she made us so comfortable. Will definitely be booking with her in the future!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have one dog, and three cats at the moment. I love how they show their love and how they can really brighten up our days. I work at a school as an instructional assistant. So the pet care will have to be before and after work. I have weekends off. I care for my pets at home by walking my dog, playing outside with my dog, playing inside with my cats and their toys, they love the laser toy. I feed my animals morning and night and sometimes they get an afternoon snack. I love to relax with them on the couch while watching TV. I also allow them on my bed when it’s time to go to sleep.
“Angela does so great with my dogs. She updates me all the time and keeps my dogs happy. This is the second time Angela has taken care of my dogs and I will continue having her take care of my dogs.”

“This was our first time using Rover and meeting Stefanie. Our kitties who are normally shy with other people took a liking to her really quickly. Stefanie was really thorough in making sure that she had all the information she would need while we were gone, and it was clear from her daily Rover Cards and communication that she really cared about taking great care of our kitties. We will definitely look for Stefanie the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“This was my first time using Rover so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Cleo was great to work with. She was super responsive and attentive to my cat. My Goldie typically doesn’t like people. She hides. I love that she provides pictures. Goldie didn’t hide and watched Cleo. That’s really a good start. This service was easy to use and I will definitely use Cleo again.”
About: I help animals everyday as a veterinary assistant; I can also speak and understand fluent spanish. During my time working at the animal hospital I always try my best in giving them a stress free and safe environment. As a vet assistant I can take dogs on walks, give our in-house dogs/cats love & affection, keep up with the cats litter box cleanliness, and I can administer medications when needed. I've had 2 cats of my own in the past and I currently have a dog and two guinea pigs. I am also comfortable working with small animals and keeping their homes clean. Pet care fits in my weekly routine since I am a part time veterinary assistant and in my off days/school days, I have some time to fit pet care into my day. I care for pets by going slow, being attentive, giving love, being safe during walks, asking owners any other needs they need, and play time for their enrichment!
“Omolara took great care of my senior dog during the week I was away. She provided exercise, feeding, and clean-up of the space, when my dog couldn’t quite hold it. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have my own 2 dogs I take care of. I’ve also had dogs in the past I looked after. I also sometimes take care of my sister’s pets. I love to take care of puppies. I have lots of patience and can train them to do simple tricks. I don’t mind taking care of either big or small dogs as all are welcomed. I have online classes for college where I just do the homework. A majority of it is done by Monday leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week. I work part-time as a cashier but currently only work one shift a week which is on Saturdays from 10-4 which leaves me with free time after work. I usually like to play with my dogs first and once they’re tired I relax with them and give them pets as they start to sleep. They have their feeding time and they do have commands to be able to eat but once they’re eating I let them be and make sure they don’t play right after eating. On a really hot day I’ll grab the hose and spray them gently (which my dogs love) and they’ll start to play with the water which helps cool them down. I’m really patient when it comes to bath time so if dogs get nervous during that I try to get them comfortable with what I’m doing and reward them after each step.
About: I have raised two puppies of my own, a German shepherd and a border collie mix. I have been there through their training and was there to take care of them during their neutering aftercare. Both are the sweetest and most lovable pets to me and my family. I also have dog-sat for family members and friends and all of them left me good reviews. They relied on me to play and feed their dogs accordingly. I would consider myself a golden retriever sitter as I have so much energy to run and play with my fur friends. Don't get me wrong though, I also enjoy a good lazy day to stay inside and cuddle! I am on summer break and am available to pet set whenever is needed! I love being outdoors and with nature but I can also just stay inside and have a comfy day! I live in a small apartment so my place might only be ideal for smaller dogs. However, I have no problem staying nights with pups who need someone. I will base my energy off of each individual pup. I know some love attention more than others and I will do my best to make sure your pup feels comfortable with me. I am always ready for play time and walks! I can am also very aware of my surroundings and won't let them out of my sight if needed.
About: I provide private, one family at a time dog care in a calm, clean, and structured home environment. I am home full time, so your dog receives consistent supervision, a predictable routine, and truly individualized attention. This is not a high volume setting. Your dog is never rotated between multiple households or unfamiliar pets. Your dog is treated like a family member, not a booking slot. Because I care for only one family at a time, each stay is quiet, low stress, and thoughtfully managed. This approach is ideal for dogs who thrive on consistency, including seniors, sensitive personalities, or those who prefer a more relaxed environment. My home is clean, secure, and intentionally set up for comfort and structure. Days include walks, enrichment, and plenty of downtime. Dogs can sleep in their usual setup or nearby, depending on what helps them feel most at ease. I stay attentive and adjust care throughout the day to match each dog’s needs. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop ins, and dog walking throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. I’m always happy to answer questions or arrange a meet and greet to ensure the right fit. I maintain a flexible, home-centered schedule and structure my days around the pets in my care. This allows me to be present, responsive, and consistent throughout the day. I follow routines closely, communicate clearly, and pay careful attention to each pet’s comfort and safety. I accept only one family at a time and maintain a clean, secure environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space, follow house rules, and keep everything clean and tidy.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I'm reliable, attentive, and make sure pets receive plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs who may need extra patience, medication reminders, or a slower-paced routine. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with animals. I can accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day, while making sure each pet receives consistent attention, care, and companionship. I follow the owner's instructions closely to maintain their normal routine. I prioritize a clean, safe, and stress-free environment so pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I understand how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your pet with someone that you don’t even know! That’s why with me I’m gonna send daily updates, photos, and I’m gonna make sure your pet is able to stay in the same routine they’re used to so they don’t even realize that your gone! What separates me from others is the bond that I have with the pets when I care for them. I just don’t simply do my job, I go beyond the limits of what it takes to be a pet care provider. I build a bond, I show that I care, and I treat each and every pet that I meet with the love and respect that their own family members would. It shouldn’t be any other way, and when you pick me to care for your pet you won’t regret it!
“Mariah did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Raisin, while my family and I were on vacation. Raisin can be a bit shy at first, but Mariah took the time to make her feel comfortable and gave her all the love and attention she needed. She kept us updated with regular messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. I could tell Raisin was well-cared for because she was happy and calm when we got home. Mariah went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Thank you, Mariah! Would definitely book with you again in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Norwalk
Vyanh is super sweet and personable. Very professional and punctual. I was worried that my cats would be lonely but she took time to give them scratches. My first time having someone come into my house to feed them but Vyanh was so great. Very good experience!

We are very lucky to have found Lissi to help watch our fur baby when we are away. Our fur baby is our family, and it is very hard for us to leave her alone, yet Lissi made it easy for us to be able to enjoy our time off knowing our baby is taken care of. She is very great with communicating, very friendly, and respectful. You can tell she cares a lot about animals, and that gives us a peace of mind.
Jennifer was kind, caring, and compassionate. She treated sunny with care and love. In addition, she gave us daily updates on how sunny was doing. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner. Sunny is usually afraid of strangers, but she immediately warmed up to Jennifer . Jennifer was asked to administer a complicated set of instructions for care of sunny, including handling medication and specific food. She did this very well and we are well pleased with her.

This was my first time using Rover so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Cleo was great to work with. She was super responsive and attentive to my cat. My Goldie typically doesn’t like people. She hides. I love that she provides pictures. Goldie didn’t hide and watched Cleo. That’s really a good start. This service was easy to use and I will definitely use Cleo again.

We’ve used Michelle twice now, and she has taken great care of our two cats both times, including a week-long stay recently. She is responsible, dependable, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We appreciated knowing our cats were being well cared for and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
