I possess a profound pet care experience that I believe sets me apart as an ideal candidate for the role of a dog and cat sitter. I was 8 years old when I started pet sitting for my friends and family members. I quickly fell in love with taking care of all animals (chickens, love birds, reptiles, and aquatic life included) and knew that this is my purpose in life. No matter what other job(s) I’m working, I will always include animal care in my routine. As a devoted dog and cat caregiver myself, I have lovingly raised and fully trained my own puppy and kitten which has equipped me with the skills and patience required to cater to the unique needs of each furry baby. My approach to pet care is characterized by unwavering attentiveness and a gentle demeanor that fosters trust between animals and me. Simultaneously, I am meticulous about maintaining the cleanliness and security of the home, taking care of tasks such as cleaning up after the pets, keeping their living area tidy, and securing the property by locking doors, closing windows, and implementing other security measures. Furthermore, I extend my services to include house-sitting tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and addressing any additional needs the client may have. My adaptable and attentive approach guarantees that both the pets and the house receive comprehensive and conscientious care during my stay.

if i could leave 100/10 stars I would. She took EXCELLENT care of my kitties while I was gone! 🥹💕 I booked her for drop-in visits and she was so sweet with them. She sent me updates and pictures, played with them, took great care of them and it was obvious both she and my girls had so much fun together. I was camping and barely had any service for part of my trip, but I truly felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. I never felt like I had to worry about them at all, which meant so much to me. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares for animals, and I would 100% book her again. I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive animal sitter! 🐾💗
Lissi is the absolute best pet sitter I have ever met! She is knowledgeable, punctual, and incredibly friendly. She is very experienced with taking care of cats, including giving medications, which made me feel completely relieved while I was away. She is perfect, and I would highly recommend her to all my friends!
Lissi was fantastic!! This is the 2nd time she watched our house while we were gone. She took great care of our dog, cat and fishes. She sends us updates and all the animals absolutely love her.
Lissi was great with Uno. She definitely went above and beyond with taking care of Uno. She was very communicative and responded very quickly when we set up the appointments. She took her time to let Uno feel comfortable and sent the best videos and pictures! We were also very happy that she was able to administer a daily pill. We would be happy to book Lissi again.
Lissi did an amazing job caring for our kitties. You can tell in the photos & videos that the cats really warmed up to her quickly and enjoyed her visits. She is great at communicating and sending lots of photos and videos. We would be soo happy to have her care for them again.

Schedule
Taking care of pets fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine. Since graduating from UC Santa Cruz spring of 2025 with a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, I’ve been working with animals full time with an extremely flexible schedule. I’ve also completed undergraduate research at Osaka University in Japan at the Graduate school of Science, researching octopus ecology and accidentally discovering a new species of octopus! Throughout my time at Santa Cruz, I trained sea lions at the Coastal Science campus as part of my undergraduate research and assisted in bio tagging elephant seals at the Ano Nuevo reserve. They’re just like big puppies <3 Now, I balance my time between pet care and other remote jobs. This flexible arrangement helps me provide consistent and loving care to every single animal I look after.
