“Letting someone into your home take care of your oets is a nerve-racking experience. We are so grateful to have found Vy. She was very thorough on making sure she understood what our pets needs were before, even stopping by before the term started. She was a great communicator, letting us know every time she stopped by with photos and we felt like we were there real time in terms of updates. It really put our minds at ease. We’ll definitely be rebooking with her next time we head out of town!”
“Sofia was very responsive and whenever I had a request or a "can you check the litter robot" question, she was prompt to answer/ fix it! I really appreciated her care to my cats while I was gone : )”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes. I’ve cared for standard size dogs and smaller ones as well. I’ve also cared for cats my whole life. I have always been around animals growing up. Being a pet owner most of my life, I have also cared for dogs/cats who are sick or need medication administered or just some TLC. I also have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I love taking dogs for walks or simply being a friendly face for a furry friend in need of some love and attention. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. I am available on weekends and early morning or late afternoon during the week. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly older cat to keep your furry friend company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have had pets ever since I can remember and I have been pet-sitting now for 3 years. I house-sit and pet-sit for as long as 2 weeks. I really enjoy getting to meet and take care of pets that are different from my own. I can’t have dogs in the house I currently live in, so it is a blessings to take care of your dogs and cats! I am working part time this summer, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am scheduling my events and previous work around making time for your animals. This is one of my top priorities! I am so excited to not just care for your pets but your home while you are away. I am a professional and have been doing this job for a long time outside of Rover, but am excited to collaborate with Rover. I promise that I will take care of your most beloved assets and family members.
About: I love dogs and dream about getting my own. I’ve pet-sat for families since I was 10 and grew up with my two Goldendoodles, who I absolutely adore and consider my babies, named Olive and Cedar! I’m comfortable with daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, medications, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I naturally connect with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and love being active with dogs—whether that’s going on walks, giving them attention, or just making sure they feel comfortable and happy. I currently work 1–2 days per week at the hospital as a pediatric oncology CNA, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m able to be consistent with routines like feeding, walks, and playtime, and I enjoy spending my free time being active and caring for animals. My schedule allows me to be reliable and fully present when I’m caring for pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication needs if applicable, and any specific care preferences the owner has. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, especially walks for dogs to help them stay happy and calm while their owners are away. I also focus on creating a safe, clean environment and making sure pets feel secure and not stressed in their owner’s absence.
About: I've been a dog owner since I was about 7 years old. I had a husky mix growing up, a very active dog all black with a curly tail I'd walk regularly and keep active. I now have two small breed dogs. A chihuahua mix named Brownie that's just 8 lbs, rescued in 2015 and I have a Rat Terrier named Taco and he was rescued in March 2020, he's about 15 lbs. All their shots are up to date and they are neutered. I am an active runner/walker and I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks regularly/daily. I take them out for about 1 mile or more if we're going out on trails or more adventures. I've traveled with my dogs by plane and by car. I'm very comfortable with dogs! Love spending time with them. I've walked my dogs and others dogs now for years. I have a two active pups to play with should they wish but otherwise they're welcome to play and have fun how they wish. I love to let them have fun.

I am currently working on freeing up my Saturdays and Sundays, so hours will change. If I am in your home I will be sure to respect your privacy and will only access what you as an owner want me to be around. “Absolutely fantastic! Alexis made the process very easy and left me feeling like I didn’t have to worry about anything. He checked in and sent lots of photos everyday. One of my cats was very shy and didn’t want to come out much when he would visit but Alexis tried his best to make her comfortable and finally got her to open up a bit at the end. My other cat LOVED him. Highly recommend Alexis for your fur baby needs!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
