“Arika did an incredible job taking care of Orion, our cat while we were away for a week. She brushed him every day, brought interesting toys for him to try out, and gave him lots of amazing care and attention! She even sent pix and videos. She also did small details like bring in the mail and even asked if we needed plants to be watered. She ended up watering our garden boxes which kept our plants alive while we were away. We would highly recommend Arika! She is kind and very professional and we were so happy that our cat had such great care.”

About: Ive always been known as the animal lover in my family and have been taking care of family pets ever since I could remember. Whenever friend/family go out of town I’m the first person they ask to do drop in visits or stay with their pets until they come back! I currently work at my family owned holistic pet store and have learned so much about animal behavior and diets! Pet care fits into my daily routine because I work at a family owned holistic pet store! I’m surrounded by dogs and cats all day and I’m always learning new information about their behavior and needs! •30 minute dog walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or trail to give your pup the exercise and mental stimulation they need! Will make sure they use the potty before returning back inside! •30 minute drop ins include: Taking out for potty breaks, feeding, treats, playtime, and of course lots and lots of cuddles to make sure your pet feels safe and loved ! • Basic House Sitting services includes staying the night at your home to ensure safety of your pet, home, and company to prevent anxiety and stress. Will also provide lots of day time care ; food, playtime time, walks, potty breaks and cuddles!

About: Growing up with a dog and now raising my best friend, Cali, I’ve always had a love for dogs! I love making pets feel at home by giving them plenty of companionship, affection, and time to do the things they enjoy most. I am a Kindergarten teacher and am available afternoons and evenings, even weekends. I love to go on long walks after work, during the week, and would love to take your pup with me. I have a fenced in backyard with space for dogs to run around and use the restroom. I live very close to a large park that is great for walks.

About: I have cared for and looked after numerous dogs over the past 5+ years. I worked as an animal trainer for a nonprofit org, working hands on with behaviorally challenged animals, using positive reinforcement training methods. I’m currently unemployed and looking to sneak in some training or cuddle sessions in with other people’s pets! I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter but that is not enough:( I can crate your dogs if needed, or work on crate training them! I will make sure to adhere to any dietary restrictions or medication administration times. Any animal I care for will be under my supervision 24/7 to ensure maximum safety and happiness. I can train any animal using positive reinforcement to create and ensure a positive relationship with that animal.

About: Hi! I’m Amanda. I’m located in Whittier. Ready to be your pups new friend and put your mind at ease that your babies are being well cared for with a loyal and trusted person! I’m an animal lover that recently lost my 19 year old dog. I know the anxiety pet parents experience while away from their animals so I do my best to provide your pet a fun staycation with lots of walks, play time, treats, cuddles, and tons of pictures sent to you so you can relax knowing your pet is having a great time. My services are primarily boarding and doggy day care as I have a hybrid job that allows me to work from home most of the time though I occasionally do need to be in office. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for long or short walks. Good at following directions if your pet has specific needs. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on couches in our home but they are welcome to snuggle in my bed permitting they are groomed and without fleas! Please ensure that your dog is potty trained and not prone to marking furniture inside the home 😊 I work from home most of the time so I’m able to provide multiple walks and lots of play time and plenty of cool spots for napping If your pet follows a routine I’m happy to stick with it! I want them to feel as comfortable as possible when you are away. I want you to feel comfortable too! I’m happy to keep you updated with daily texts and photos about your pet to ease your mind.

About: Growing up it has been my dream to care for animals as I have had pets since I was a baby from hamsters to cats to dogs ive had it al! I am a vet assistant who wants to continue my education in becoming a veterinarian. My biggest passion is animals. I have cared for all pets ranging from x small - x large. from younger - senior. My special skills are nail trims, clear cleaning, bathing, teeth brushing. I can apply all types of medication :)! I am currently only available on the weekends from Saturday-sunday from any time. either early morning - late nights for your convenience :). I can also keep our furry friend till Monday morning! I have a fenced front and back yard home with a separate gate in the back to ensure safety for our furry friend as well as a clean environment and a lot of space!

About: I come from a family who always owned more than one dog so it’s no surprise that I now own two or my own (: That life long skill of caring for dogs in different stages of life and different care needs comes very natural to me! My home has so much fun and love to give and it is the perfect environment for your pup. My two pups are sweet and love to play. Me and my fiancé take daily walks and trips to the dog park/dog beach frequently. We will make sure your pup is getting the best care, is on their routine, and can even bathe/groom if needed. I work remotely from home so I am here 24-7 to make sure your pet is taken care of and on a routine. I have been caring for my pups for the past 8 months while also balancing my job from home so my routine is fine tuned (: I make sure to set aside plenty of time to keep my pups entertained, well exercised, and cared for. I live in a very dog friendly apartment with 3 different dog parks located only a few minutes walk from us. Even though we don’t have a yard, i make sure our pups get hours of playtime outside every day! I also have a big apartment with plenty of room for play inside. I have fences and play pens that we can use to separate pups for sleeping if needed.

About: I’ve grown up raising 4 pugs and 2 labradors. I also used to volunteer at animal sanctuaries where I trained, played, walked, and cleaned after puppies/dogs. I’m currently a college student so my schedule is flexible (as long as I don’t have class). I do same day appointments and I am available all week. When caring for a pet at a client’s home, I’ll be sure to listen to clients instructions of what and what not to do. I will also respect the home as it is not mine.

About: I always used to say I wanted to be a Veterinarian since I can remember, but with life and all that comes with it, sadly I gave up that dream. However, just because being a Veterinarian didn't work out didn't mean I have given up on my care and love for animals. I have been lucky in being able to care for many cats and dogs in my life time. From tiny new born kittens to a senior dog in her last days, I have cared for many and consider it an honor to have a relationship with an animal. I am a full-time pet care provider. I do have a part time job that requires me to leave for 4 to 5 hours a couple times a week but other than that I am dedicated to caring for you animal during the time I am with them. I currently live with four cats in my home. They are family pets and though I love them they are more my parents cats. In the past I have been responsible for feeding and caring for both indoor and out door pets. I stay conscious of what my pets feeding and/or walking schedules were like. I also like to know if the pet is a playful one that would like my engagement or a cuddler that likes the snuggles and pets. In the case of new animals that I haven't met before I try to make my introduction as gentle and friendly as possible. I do prefer in the cases of dogs that I meet them first with their owner present so that the dog knows I can be trusted. As for cats I haven't noticed them really caring most of the time. However, I appreciate an introduction if it is possible.
