About: Cats have always been in my rotation in regards to pet check-ins. I’m reliable, communicative, and try to make visits feel as normal and stress free as possible for both pets and owners. My flexible work schedule allows me to be free most of the day. I work around my pet check-in commitments. I can usually accommodate any check-in times. I currently offer drop in visits and care in the pet owner’s home rather than boarding in my own home. I keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, walks, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I also make communication a priority and send updates and photos during visits so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: I love dogs and dream about getting my own. I’ve pet-sat for families since I was 10 and grew up with my two Goldendoodles, who I absolutely adore and consider my babies, named Olive and Cedar! I’m comfortable with daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, medications, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I naturally connect with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and love being active with dogs—whether that’s going on walks, giving them attention, or just making sure they feel comfortable and happy. I currently work 1–2 days per week at the hospital as a pediatric oncology CNA, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m able to be consistent with routines like feeding, walks, and playtime, and I enjoy spending my free time being active and caring for animals. My schedule allows me to be reliable and fully present when I’m caring for pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication needs if applicable, and any specific care preferences the owner has. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, especially walks for dogs to help them stay happy and calm while their owners are away. I also focus on creating a safe, clean environment and making sure pets feel secure and not stressed in their owner’s absence.

Whenever friend/family go out of town I’m the first person they ask to do drop in visits or stay with their pets until they come back! About: I have had pets ever since I can remember and I have been pet-sitting now for 3 years. I house-sit and pet-sit for as long as 2 weeks. I really enjoy getting to meet and take care of pets that are different from my own. I can’t have dogs in the house I currently live in, so it is a blessings to take care of your dogs and cats! About: I have been around dogs ever since I was born, having two of my own. I have pet sit for family and friends before. I potty-trained my own dog as a puppy at the age of eight, as well as tricks like sitting and staying. I’m also quite fond of cats and have had less experience with them, but am more than happy to provide cat care. Monday-Friday I have football practice from 3-7, so anytime before or after I am free. I am currently working on freeing up my Saturdays and Sundays, so hours will change. If I am in your home I will be sure to respect your privacy and will only access what you as an owner want me to be around. My only focus will be your pet and making sure they receive what you have requested.

About: I’ve always grew up with dogs. My family also has a variety of different breeds which helped me gain experience around different types of dogs. I enjoy training puppies as well! I love to give dogs the best cuddles and pets, oh and of course those belly rubs!!! I am currently a sahm. My kiddos go to school so it’s just me by myself all day until it’s time to pick them up. In the late afternoon I take the kids out to play and then it’s time to get ready for bed. I have a fenced balcony that has a couch of pet would like to hangout outside for some fresh air. I also have a trail to walk when going for walks. I always make sure they have food and water when needed and make sure they get lots of loving while in my care!

About: I grew up with dogs and have had a cat as an adult, so I’m comfortable caring for both playful and more independent pets. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, litter care, and comfort. I’m a professor and writer who works from home during the week, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets attention, supervision, walks, play breaks, and consistent care throughout the day. I have a large fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and can also crate pets when needed or requested. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep pets secure, and make sure they feel comfortable, calm, and cared for in my home or yours.

About: I love dogs/puppies and I make sure that every dog feels like family, especially by giving them plenty of attention and affection during their stay. Weekdays I work mornings and I have a flexible schedule after three pm. I am fully open during weekends for all your furry friend’s needs! About: I always used to say I wanted to be a Veterinarian since I can remember, but with life and all that comes with it, sadly I gave up that dream. However, just because being a Veterinarian didn't work out didn't mean I have given up on my care and love for animals. I have been lucky in being able to care for many cats and dogs in my life time. From tiny new born kittens to a senior dog in her last days, I have cared for many and consider it an honor to have a relationship with an animal. I am a full-time pet care provider. I do have a part time job that requires me to leave for 4 to 5 hours a couple times a week but other than that I am dedicated to caring for you animal during the time I am with them. I currently live with four cats in my home. They are family pets and though I love them they are more my parents cats. In the past I have been responsible for feeding and caring for both indoor and out door pets. I stay conscious of what my pets feeding and/or walking schedules were like. I also like to know if the pet is a playful one that would like my engagement or a cuddler that likes the snuggles and pets. In the case of new animals that I haven't met before I try to make my introduction as gentle and friendly as possible. I do prefer in the cases of dogs that I meet them first with their owner present so that the dog knows I can be trusted. As for cats I haven't noticed them really caring most of the time. However, I appreciate an introduction if it is possible.

About: Hi! I'm Arika, and animals have pretty much been my entire personality for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I cared for just about every kind of animal imaginable—dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, hamsters, and even reptiles. If there was an animal that needed love (or someone to clean up after it), I was usually first in line. Needless to say, my parents never had to wonder what I'd be doing with my free time! For the past 5 years, I've worked in animal rescue, primarily with cats. As an Office Manager and Foster Coordinator for a nonprofit rescue, I've cared for hundreds of cats of all ages, personalities, and medical needs—from tiny bottle babies to spicy feral kittens, seniors, and cats recovering from illness or surgery. Let's just say not every cat has appreciated my help at first... but I've learned that patience (and a few treats) goes a long way! While my rescue work has focused on cats, my love for dogs has always been just as strong. I volunteer with a local dog rescue where I walk and exercise energetic dogs, helping them burn off some zoomies while preparing them for adoption. I've also assisted a friend with a dog training program in Bakersfield, where I gained experience with basic obedience, leash manners, and confidence building. When my in-laws head out of town, I become the designated ranch manager for their five dogs and six horses. It's a full house, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Between the dogs demanding belly rubs and the horses reminding me breakfast should have been five minutes ago, there's never a dull moment. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from puppies who think every walk is a treasure hunt to seniors who just want to take their time and sniff every flower along the way. I'm also experienced administering oral medications, eye medications, topical treatments, and subcutaneous fluids when needed. I'm currently exploring becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) because I genuinely love learning about animal health and want to continue building on the experience I've gained over the years. At home, I have two cats and a rescue dog, so I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pets with someone new. My goal is to make that as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets! I'll treat them like family, keep their routine consistent, and send plenty of updates and photos (because let's be honest... you're probably going to miss them more than they'll miss you 😉). Whether your dog wants to power walk, sniff every tree in the neighborhood, play fetch until your arm hurts, or simply enjoy some quiet company, I'm happy to match their pace. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family! After I drop my daughter off at daycare each morning, I get to spend the rest of my day doing something else I love—being around animals! I'm available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM for dog walks. My years in animal rescue have taught me how to read animal body language, recognize when a pet is feeling stressed, and adapt to all kinds of personalities. Whether your dog is outgoing, shy, energetic, or prefers to stop and sniff every flower, I'll tailor each walk to what makes them feel safe and happy. Before our first walk, I'd love to learn about your dog's routine, favorite treats, commands, and any little quirks that make them unique. Whether your pup thinks every squirrel is public enemy number one or insists on saying hello to everyone, I'm here for it! Safety is always my top priority. I'll use secure leash handling, stay aware of our surroundings, and make sure your dog gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. After every walk, I'll send you updates and photos because I know I'd want the same if someone was caring for my own dog. Fair warning... if your pup is especially cute, they may end up becoming the star of my camera roll!
