About: I’ve worked with different species at different levels of care. I started with aquatic species ( Turtles, fish, and crabs), and began working with different kinds of mammals when I was young. The types of mammals include but are not limited to: rabbits, mice, cats, and dogs. I am huge on a species' well-being and comfort level! About: I've been a dog owner since I was about 7 years old. I had a husky mix growing up, a very active dog all black with a curly tail I'd walk regularly and keep active. I now have two small breed dogs. A chihuahua mix named Brownie that's just 8 lbs, rescued in 2015 and I have a Rat Terrier named Taco and he was rescued in March 2020, he's about 15 lbs. All their shots are up to date and they are neutered. I am an active runner/walker and I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks regularly/daily. I take them out for about 1 mile or more if we're going out on trails or more adventures. I've traveled with my dogs by plane and by car. I'm very comfortable with dogs! Love spending time with them. I've walked my dogs and others dogs now for years. I have a two active pups to play with should they wish but otherwise they're welcome to play and have fun how they wish. I love to let them have fun.
About: I used to have a dog named Ollie and though our early relationship was tough due to my childish ignorance I came to love and care for her for over a decade. I share my sister's love of animals, and I can administer medicine thanks to experience with an old dog and a diabetic cat. This was my first time booking through Rover in hopes of finding someone that can care for my puppy while I’m away and I found Alyssa. She was very kind and patient. I feel like she tried her best even though my puppy is a high energy stubborn puppy. She tried to make him as comfortable as possible. I did have a slight suggestion and that would be just to communicate better and interact with the puppy as much as possible to make it a smoother process. Dogs feed off our energy.
