About: Hi there! ☺️ I was raised with cats, dogs, and birds most of my childhood. When I got into adulthood, I rescued a female Seal-point Siamese kitten. A couple years later, I rescued a male orange Tabby kitten. I raised and trained those two together. A few years later, I rescued a 4 year old Bichon Poodle mix, who ended up becoming my soul dog. After 10 amazing years and numerous vet visits for various illnesses and eventually cancer (we did doggy chemo), she crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 I now have a rescued 2 year old Schnauzer Poodle mix and my heart is full again. ❤️ All of this is to say that I have varied experience with different breeds of pets of all ages and all seasons of life. Everyone who knows me knows that if you have a pet at home and I come over, I will attempt to befriend them or admire them from afar, whichever they prefer! 😊 I’m a teacher who is currently on summer break and I have a small side business revamping vintage furniture, so my availability is very open! My focus would mainly be on caring for pets in clients’ homes. I care for the pets is by giving them a lot of love and attention, lots of pets, playtime, and really whatever your specific pet needs. I would also ask the pet parents what their preferences/expectations are for how to best take care of their pet during the sit.

My dog had diarrhea in his crate the first night and she cleaned it really well and offered to give him some of her own dogs’ probiotics to help him. She took him outside several times each day, and even took him on a field trip to play with her dogs (with my permission). Bubba can be aggressive, depending on how you approach him, and he immediately ran up to her and gave her a kiss 🥹 He won’t do a lot of things while I’m gone, but she got him to go outside, potty, fetch, and eat cheese - things he wouldn’t even do for my family off the bat. About: I have taken care of my own pets for 15+ years, especially my golden retrievers I have had for 13 years. I have often been the main caregiver (vet visits, feeding, bathing, walking, and play) for all my pets. I have an affinity for all animals and especially love making new fur friends everywhere I go. I am currently seeking part-time work while also allowing myself the ability to work with pets and assist owners with help in raising their fur family members for a fair price and a kind heart. I have a fenced in yard, however I live in a more natural setting that has coyotes, so my pets stay mostly indoors with me. I have created pet friendly spaces for them (taking in account of dangers that could affect them like plants, allergens, and uncomfortable noises).
