“Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Whether it’s a walk in the neighborhood, feeding time, or quiet cuddles at home, I make sure every dog feels safe and loved. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly home and only take a few dogs at a time so I can give them my full attention. I also love sending photo updates, so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing! Since I’m retired, my schedule is very flexible, allowing me to spend time caring for dogs every day through walks, playtime, fun, meals, and companionship. I care for pets by providing meals, water, walks, playtime, attention, supervision, cozy rest areas, and treats, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved daily.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since high school with my first dog. I start helping my host family’s and friends’ dog after I move out for school and work. I usually off on Mon, Tues and Fri, but sometimes could be more days off. I start with my day at 0630am weekdays no matter work or off. Please feel free to chat with me and ask questions. About: I'm super patient and I'm very attentive. I just love looking after others in general and I find joy in work like this. I've looked after my sick parents and after my sibling most of my life, I was also one of the eldest kids in my church community so I was depended on to look after them a lot of the times as well. From there I was depended on for other things like looking after the occasional pet by family friends from the church and from my own friends. As of right now regularly help take care of my girlfriend's little Pomeranian and I love him. Right now, all I am is a full-time student so other than my classes I have very little commitment and will be free for most requests. Even if my schedule overlaps I also have a very flexible schedule so I don't have to consider if I'm free too much. When with a pet, I am not just physically present but mentally too, ready to anticipate any need and determine how to satisfy it. Always ready to look out for any potential danger and on my toes to be ready to deal with anything if needed.

My kitty has food issues and trauma from being a stray. She fed her 4 times a day to special food to reassure her. Handled her so well, my kitty was happy and calm, i hope. There were daily updates on his goings on which made us feel comforted while seeing him interact with Eunice and her family which included her dogs, Lucas and Tyler.
