I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every visit with the same care and commitment as if they were my own. Eventually, I’d love to create a more flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets more frequently while still managing my day job - it’s a passion I’m excited to continue growing. About: Hi there! I am currently a student studying vet medicine. I’ve been working with all types of animals for 6 years now. I do work part time as a vet tech and would love to pet sit, take your furry friend for walks and give them loads of love! About: I have taken care of my own pets for 15+ years, especially my golden retrievers I have had for 13 years. I have often been the main caregiver (vet visits, feeding, bathing, walking, and play) for all my pets. I have an affinity for all animals and especially love making new fur friends everywhere I go. I am currently seeking part-time work while also allowing myself the ability to work with pets and assist owners with help in raising their fur family members for a fair price and a kind heart. I have a fenced in yard, however I live in a more natural setting that has coyotes, so my pets stay mostly indoors with me. I have created pet friendly spaces for them (taking in account of dangers that could affect them like plants, allergens, and uncomfortable noises). About: Hi there! ☺️ I was raised with cats, dogs, and birds most of my childhood. When I got into adulthood, I rescued a female Seal-point Siamese kitten. A couple years later, I rescued a male orange Tabby kitten. I raised and trained those two together. A few years later, I rescued a 4 year old Bichon Poodle mix, who ended up becoming my soul dog. After 10 amazing years and numerous vet visits for various illnesses and eventually cancer (we did doggy chemo), she crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 I now have a rescued 2 year old Schnauzer Poodle mix and my heart is full again. ❤️ All of this is to say that I have varied experience with different breeds of pets of all ages and all seasons of life. Everyone who knows me knows that if you have a pet at home and I come over, I will attempt to befriend them or admire them from afar, whichever they prefer! 😊 I’m a teacher who is currently on summer break and I have a small side business revamping vintage furniture, so my availability is very open! My focus would mainly be on caring for pets in clients’ homes. I care for the pets is by giving them a lot of love and attention, lots of pets, playtime, and really whatever your specific pet needs. I would also ask the pet parents what their preferences/expectations are for how to best take care of their pet during the sit.

“Xu cared for my dog (55lb puppy) and cat for a week in my home. She communicated well and sent photos and videos. My dog had diarrhea in his crate the first night and she cleaned it really well and offered to give him some of her own dogs’ probiotics to help him. She took him outside several times each day, and even took him on a field trip to play with her dogs (with my permission). Xu cared for my pets like they were her own and I would absolutely trust her to care for them again.”

I’m excited to bring that experience to Rover and build lasting relationships with local pet families. I do theater every now and then but overall my schedule is wide open and ready to share the love and care necessary for your furry companion. I’m not sure why Rover says I don’t allow animals on the furniture. I don’t mind unless it’s a rule within your home to keep them down (: I will honor all of your wishes with caring for your loved one and treat them as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard and safe neighborhood for walks. Your furry friends will be protected and their comfort is always going to be top priority whether in your home or mine. (:
