“I was looking for a trustworthy pet sitter since we were going away for 2.5 weeks. I was very nervous because this was my first time leaving our dog (Biscuit) with someone I wasn’t familiar with, but Mike and JaHyung did their best with making me feel reassured that Biscuit was in good hands! We got to do a little meet and greet beforehand to make sure Biscuit would be okay with their dog. (Biscuit and their dog became best friends!) About: I’ve had animals (cats, dogs, horses, fish) my whole life and they’re my world! I love going for walks and playing with pups especially since my dog’s passing. I’m a volunteer dog Walker for several rescues. I was recently laid off looking to help others while trying to do things I love, be productive, etc. I work remotely/flexible schedule when I do. I have a lot of flexibility and availability 7 days a week including any last minute requests for sitting or walks. “Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. We've had dogs all our married life and our most recent dog, Reba is looking for some friends to play with. We're able to cater to your dogs special diets, continue to implement your training techniques and provide that loving home while you are away. As a retired husband and wife duo our schedules are quite flexible and we spend most of our time at home with our dog Reba. Drop off anytime between 7 AM - 8 PM (please inquire for drop off outside these times for availability). A doggie door provides easy access to our fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass, a lovely patio and lots of shade to create the perfect space for your dog to lounge outside. Inside the home we're able to provide a safe space to eat and a cozy environment where dogs can lounge on the couches and escape the heat. While we don't allow dogs in our bed you're more then welcome to bring their favorite bed/blanket and we'll provide a quiet space for them to dream away. Our grandchildren visit often (ages 10 +) so kid friendly dogs are a must.
