I’ve grown up caring for animals of all kinds, dogs, cats, horses, and even chickens, so being around pets has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been dog walking since middle school, and I currently have a very energetic dog of my own, so I understand high-energy routines and lots of playtime. I’ve also cared for multiple pets at once, including 3 dogs, a cat, and puppies, so I’m comfortable handling busy households and different personalities at the same time. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, stress-free, and cared for the same way I would want for my own doggo. I love sending photo updates (honestly it’s my favorite part! I’m always taking pictures of animals), so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I can often help with last-minute bookings when needed.

I always stick closely to your routines and instructions because I know how important consistency is for animals, especially when their owners aren’t home. My goal is always to reduce stress for both pets and owners by providing consistent, reliable care and clear communication throughout every visit.

I've had Akiera watch my pets for a 2nd time and she was equally as thorough and took great care of them. Gave frequent updates, pictures. I completely trust her to watch my pets and look over my house, and would definitely use again in the future.
Akiera was great! We had her house sit for our pets for 2 nights and she was very responsive, sent multiple pictures a day, and kept us updated. The house was cleaner than we left it when we got back. Would definitely recommend!
Akiera was absolutely exceptional. From the start, she was professional, responsive, and clearly experienced with cats. She kept us updated consistently with photos and detailed messages, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our cat was calm, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her presence. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I would confidently recommend Akiera to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and attentive cat sitter. We will definitely be booking her again.
Great with animals, and pays attention to what's going on as well. Somehow our chickens decided to let themselves out of their run. While this is not something she was intended on having to deal with she was able to get them back in their run and close it off.
Obviously loves animals. Notices small changes and kept us informed about our pets.

Schedule
Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I’ve always been around animals. I work full time, but my schedule is flexible enough that I can make dedicated time for walks, feedings, play, and check-ins so pets are never rushed and always well cared for. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and can often help with last-minute bookings when needed.
