Hi there! ☺️ I was raised with cats, dogs, and birds most of my childhood. When I got into adulthood, I rescued a female Seal-point Siamese kitten. A couple years later, I rescued a male orange Tabby kitten. I raised and trained those two together. A few years later, I rescued a 4 year old Bichon Poodle mix, who ended up becoming my soul dog. After 10 amazing years and numerous vet visits for various illnesses and eventually cancer (we did doggy chemo), she crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 I now have a rescued 2 year old Schnauzer Poodle mix and my heart is full again. ❤️ All of this is to say that I have varied experience with different breeds of pets of all ages and all seasons of life. Everyone who knows me knows that if you have a pet at home and I come over, I will attempt to befriend them or admire them from afar, whichever they prefer! 😊

My focus would mainly be on caring for pets in clients’ homes. I care for the pets is by giving them a lot of love and attention, lots of pets, playtime, and really whatever your specific pet needs. I would also ask the pet parents what their preferences/expectations are for how to best take care of their pet during the sit.

Leah was absolutely awesome! She was extremely accommodating and even took care of our hamster. Flash enjoyed his walks and hanging out with her. If you need someone to take care of your pets, definitely contact Leah. We will ask her to help us out again in the future.
I Can't recommend Leah highly enough. leaving a senior dog in someone's care can be stressful, especially when they have special needs, but I had complete peace of mind know my dog was with her. From his special dietary needs, patience with his mobility problems/limitations, its obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after!
Leah is incredible with animals. She’s been surrounded by animals her whole life and I’ve never seen a more attentive and caring person with her dogs. She is incredibly trustworthy and would be my go-to person for pet sitting. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter. There’s no doubt that she would give any animal she cares for the love and care that it needs.
Leah has always had a compassionate heart for those who cannot advocate for themselves, and that compassion is especially evident in the way she cares for animals. Her beloved dog, Ginger, was truly her soulmate, and Leah devoted ten years to loving and caring for her with exceptional dedication, patience, and wisdom. Not only has Leah been an incredible pet parent to her own dog, but I and countless others have also trusted her with my dog and can personally attest to the outstanding care she provides. I often refer to her as the “Mary Poppins” of pet caregivers because she is always prepared, attentive, and ready to handle any situation with confidence and grace. Leah is an excellent communicator who understands the importance of keeping pet parents informed and reassured. She treats every dog as if they were her own, ensuring each one receives the love, attention, and individualized care they deserve. Any family who entrusts their pet to Leah can rest easy knowing their furry companion will be safe, cherished, and exceptionally well cared for.
