My name is Halle, and I have extensive hands on experience caring for animals in both professional and personal settings. I worked full time on a farm for over three years, where I was responsible for the daily care and handling of a variety of animals including my own horse Bella :) I’ve also grown up with both large and small dogs, so I’m comfortable managing different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m trained in dog CPR and first aid, as well as human first aid, which allows me to respond appropriately in urgent situations. I have a strong understanding of animal behavior and boundaries, and I prioritize handling pets with a balance of patience, consistency, and clear structure. In addition to my farm experience, I’ve worked and volunteered in animal shelters, which exposed me to dogs and cats with a wide range of needs, including those requiring extra patience or behavioral awareness. I also currently care for two dogs of my own, Yuki and Amoria, one of whom has health issues that require ongoing monitoring and specialized care. This has made me very comfortable with administering medications, maintaining routines, and recognizing early signs of discomfort or illness. I also have experience supporting senior dogs, including adjusting activity levels, providing gentle handling, and maintaining consistent routines that reduce stress and support mobility and overall comfort.
