About: If you are looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for your dog to stay, look no further! I have always been passionate about animals and I have never lived without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat (all well trained). I have worked at animal shelters and have rescued, cared for, and adopted out upwards of 15 animals through my own home. When your dog stays with me, they will have a constant playmate through me, my husband and my other pets. We have a dog door with a fenced in backyard. We have toys and treats aplenty. I love to keep my families updated with pictures and videos of their animals having the time of their lives! Bring your fur baby over to play anytime! Most of my work happens at home and on my schedule. I regularly have foster animals so having extra pets in the home is already a part of my routine! We go on walks and play in the backyard! We have a dog door so there's always a bathroom for them if needed. However, we still walk however much you would like! Otherwise, they integrate into our lives as if they were our own.
“This is the third time we have had Katrina care for our cats. Our cats are very shy and skittish, but she takes her time with her visits to try and bond with them. She is very attentive, caring, and we look forward to working with her again.”

“Susi was great from meeting our pup to doing an add in drop in visit. She sent pictures and took good care of our highly anxious dog. We look forward to using her services when we’re out of town again”

“Recently had Brittany & Samantha care for my cats for the third time in as few months. I always receive updates and photos after each visit. And my cats are healthy and exactly as I left them when I return!”

About: I’ve been a proud dog and cat mom for over 15 years and can’t imagine life without animals. Right now, I share my home with a sweet 6-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix and two silly cats (one 5 years old and one still a kitten at 6 months). For the past 5 years, I’ve also fostered for a local animal rescue, which has given me so much experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles on the couch, I’ll make sure your furry family member feels loved and cared for like one of my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. My own pets are woven into my day — from morning walks and playtime to cuddle breaks between meetings. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to give plenty of attention, love, and care, and I can easily adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets I’m caring for. In my home, pets are treated like family. They get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and a cozy spot to relax. I keep to their normal routines as much as possible, whether that’s regular walks, mealtimes, or snuggle time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their instructions closely so their pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space. Every animal is unique, so I adjust my care to fit their needs — whether that means extra play for high-energy pets, quiet companionship for shy ones, or sticking to special diets and routines.
About: Since I was young, roughly 7 I worked with all different types of animals and breeds. The smallest I've worked with is snakes all the way to the biggest being Buffalo. So I'm pretty confident when it comes to dogs and cats. I have dog training under my belt, giving medications; I do not give injections however, I simply think it's too much of a risk. I also have senior care, so I'll take extra care to minimize any work the older animals will have to put in for anything when I'm with them. Throughout the week my schedule is open for a decent amount of it, so it helps In making my rover schedule pretty open and flexible for clients. For safety reasons I will never bring my personal dog, but for clients; I'll always make sure to follow every direction and precaution they have left me for their animals. Then of course take standard safety etiquette for when walking or exercising a clients animal.
“Another successful trip! Left for Japan for a week. Andrea did 1 drop in visit per day and fed my 2 cats their wet food, scooped their litter, made sure their water was full and gave them scratches. Came home to 2 happy kitties! Thanks Again!”

About: I’ve been providing pet care services for nearly four years through Rover, originally under a different account. My love for animals goes back to childhood; I’ve been around and caring for pets since I was five years old. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with puppies, senior dogs, and even pets with special needs such as blindness or deafness. Altogether, I’ve had the privilege of caring for well over 100 pets, and I approach each one with genuine attention, patience, and compassion. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home. I typically only need to go into the office once a week, or sometimes every other week, which gives me the flexibility to be home and present with pets most of the day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency in their care, whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if any), and house rules are followed carefully so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I also provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for.

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time and caring for them. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have gained hands on experience through volunteering at animal shelters and helping friends and family care for their dogs and cats. My experience includes feeding pets, providing fresh water, going on walks, playing with them, giving them attention and companionship, and helping them maintain their daily routines. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. In a clients home I follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific preferences or routines.
“Annie made it through her first drop in visit with us with flying colors. I am thrilled to death that we found her and I am looking forward to having her watch my dogs much more frequently”

“Nora was fantastic! Our usually shy cat was so friendly with her. She let them on the porch and played with them everyday. She was timely and thorough. We will definitely use her again!”

Appreciated her excellent care and will definitely work with her again in the future. We highly recommend her.”

Vivian is the absolute best! She’s been caring for our kitties, Jules and Vinnie, since they were little, and they absolutely adore her. Knowing they get so much love and attention when we’re away gives us complete peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!

Tina took such great care of our 2 cats! It was our first time hiring a pet sitter and were nervous about having a stranger come into our house and be responsible for our 2 babies but we are so happy with the experience! They are usually shy around new people but she made them feel so comfortable right away and our cats had no issues during her care. She respected our space and sent lots of picture updates while we were away so we were never worried during our trip. Would highly recommend Tina for all your pet sitting needs!

Yermin did a great job with my kitty and dog. She had no problem "job sharing" with a friend of mine, who came by twice a day to walk the pup and Yermin came by each evening to make sure kitty and pup were fed and got him out for his last pee of the day before bed. She was very responsive when contacted and she was always in communication. Also sent lots of photos, which I love!

Chandler took excellent care of our senior cat Chonky. She was very attentive to Chonky's needs. She gave him amply play time, brushed him and pet him. She also took care of feeding, giving him water top ups, taking out the trash, cleaning the dishes and litter boxes. She also vacuumed the tracked litter off the floor. We definitely recommend Chandler for your cat care needs!

We went on a trip for a few days and Karyn helped us care for our 5-year old cat, Luna. Karyn is compassionate and loving, who takes great care of Luna. Karyn communicates well and is very responsive. We are 100% satisfied and we would recommend her service to friends.

Akiera was absolutely exceptional. From the start, she was professional, responsive, and clearly experienced with cats. She kept us updated consistently with photos and detailed messages, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our cat was calm, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her presence. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I would confidently recommend Akiera to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and attentive cat sitter. We will definitely be booking her again.

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
