About: Growing up with dogs all my life pets always felt like family members. Out of college, I worked at a doggy daycare, the Bone Adventure, where I learned a large range of skills. Sitting on the ground and hand feeding dogs that are having nervous bellies, picking up on body language, doggy first aid, as well as a general knowledge of pet care. I enjoy working with puppies as well as senior dogs and cats as well. I love taking dogs on walks and discovering their method of play. I’m available any day of the week I love getting out of the house and visiting with people’s pets, I love long walks, short walks, playing fetch, and lots of pats. I typically like to follow the owners instructions to the tea and adhering to the animal's normal routine to reduce any stress. I enjoy engaging with their toys and treats and giving lots of love and affection.

“Susi was great from meeting our pup to doing an add in drop in visit. She sent pictures and took good care of our highly anxious dog. We look forward to using her services when we’re out of town again”

About: If you are looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for your dog to stay, look no further! I have always been passionate about animals and I have never lived without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat (all well trained). I have worked at animal shelters and have rescued, cared for, and adopted out upwards of 15 animals through my own home. When your dog stays with me, they will have a constant playmate through me, my husband and my other pets. We have a dog door with a fenced in backyard. We have toys and treats aplenty. I love to keep my families updated with pictures and videos of their animals having the time of their lives! Bring your fur baby over to play anytime! Most of my work happens at home and on my schedule. I regularly have foster animals so having extra pets in the home is already a part of my routine! We go on walks and play in the backyard! We have a dog door so there's always a bathroom for them if needed. However, we still walk however much you would like! Otherwise, they integrate into our lives as if they were our own.
About: I’ve been providing pet care services for nearly four years through Rover, originally under a different account. My love for animals goes back to childhood; I’ve been around and caring for pets since I was five years old. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with puppies, senior dogs, and even pets with special needs such as blindness or deafness. Altogether, I’ve had the privilege of caring for well over 100 pets, and I approach each one with genuine attention, patience, and compassion. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home. I typically only need to go into the office once a week, or sometimes every other week, which gives me the flexibility to be home and present with pets most of the day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency in their care, whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions. I make sure feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if any), and house rules are followed carefully so pets feel secure in their familiar space. I also provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for.
About: I’ve grown up with large dogs my whole life (German shepherds) so I am super familiar with the needs of bigger dogs but have also taken care of other dogs as well! I am currently in school in Orange County so I’m available there until mid May and then I will be home in Los Angeles :) I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, with lots of time for walks, play, and cuddles. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment and always follow your instructions to keep your pet happy and stress-free.
“Julian is an excellent petsitter! We needed a last minute sitter for our cats after initial plans had fallen through. Julian responded extremely quickly to our request, and set up a meet and greet immediately. He was extremely diligent and punctual about the twice-daily visits. He was also very respectful of our place. Its always a little nerve-wracking leaving beloved pets in someone else's hands, but Julian set our minds at ease, and did a spectacular job. We absolutely plan to request him again next time we go on vacation.”

Went on a river trip with limited internet service and didn't worry about my 2 cats at all while I was gone knowing they were in Andreas care. She fed them, pet them, scooped their litter and sent photos the whole time I was gone. Highly recommend! Thank you Andrea!

Vivian is the absolute best! She’s been caring for our kitties, Jules and Vinnie, since they were little, and they absolutely adore her. Knowing they get so much love and attention when we’re away gives us complete peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!

Tina took such great care of our 2 cats! It was our first time hiring a pet sitter and were nervous about having a stranger come into our house and be responsible for our 2 babies but we are so happy with the experience! They are usually shy around new people but she made them feel so comfortable right away and our cats had no issues during her care. She respected our space and sent lots of picture updates while we were away so we were never worried during our trip. Would highly recommend Tina for all your pet sitting needs!

Yermin did a great job with my kitty and dog. She had no problem "job sharing" with a friend of mine, who came by twice a day to walk the pup and Yermin came by each evening to make sure kitty and pup were fed and got him out for his last pee of the day before bed. She was very responsive when contacted and she was always in communication. Also sent lots of photos, which I love!

Chandler took excellent care of our senior cat Chonky. She was very attentive to Chonky's needs. She gave him amply play time, brushed him and pet him. She also took care of feeding, giving him water top ups, taking out the trash, cleaning the dishes and litter boxes. She also vacuumed the tracked litter off the floor. We definitely recommend Chandler for your cat care needs!

We went on a trip for a few days and Karyn helped us care for our 5-year old cat, Luna. Karyn is compassionate and loving, who takes great care of Luna. Karyn communicates well and is very responsive. We are 100% satisfied and we would recommend her service to friends.

Akiera was absolutely exceptional. From the start, she was professional, responsive, and clearly experienced with cats. She kept us updated consistently with photos and detailed messages, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our cat was calm, well cared for, and clearly comfortable in her presence. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I would confidently recommend Akiera to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and attentive cat sitter. We will definitely be booking her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Olive. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
