“Karly is one of the best cat sitters I’ve had. She’s very trustworthy, but is also an excellent communicator. I got updated photos at each visit, and I came home to very happy cats. I have already hired her again for another job :)”
About: I’ve cared for my own dogs, cats and reptiles. I have cared for rescue pets, neighbors’ pets, office pets and assisted senior pets. I genuinely care for animals of all kinds. I’m working part-time and love the outdoors and exercise, so I can easily manage walks and drop-ins. Happy to feed and give needed attention to your pets. I am reliable, a mom who knows what it means to be a pet mom too! I would give the same care to your pet as I would my own. Lots of love and care in your home.
About: All animals, whether a traditional companion pet or exotic are special treasures to each of us. We love them and make them part of our family and they give us unconditional love and devotion. I have 20 years of experience caring for a variety of dogs. I also have 12 years caring for farm stock and pocket pets. I live on a family farm and assist with anything that is needed on the farm. I have adopted a rescue dog that has taken my heart and also have a rather demanding but loving 16 year old cat which also goes on walks (on a leash) time to time. Animals have taught me to be kinder, more compassionate and patient. I look forward to meeting and connecting with your amazing animals. You can see me and my animal friends on Instagram: Cleos_friends My schedule is open for the most part of the week. I do care for the animals that live on the small farm daily and I would make time to care for your pets daily needs too. I usually have a regular routine everyday with the animals I care for. I would care for your pet in your home. I don’t have any space in my own home to board anymore pets, since I have my own pets.
“We recently had the pleasure of hiring Chloe to take care of our beloved dog, Buttons, during our absence. Chloe was absolutely amazing! During her drop-in visits, she took Buttons for walks and spent quality time with her. Buttons, who can be a bit shy around strangers, immediately took a liking to her. She was gentle, patient, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Chloe was also very communicative, sending us regular updates and photos of Buttons enjoying her walks and playtime. Overall, we would highly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a reliable and caring individual to look after their pet. She provided excellent service and made us feel confident that Buttons was in good hands. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, all with very different personalities! I also started pet sitting from a very young age. I’m good with all ages, from puppies to seniors! I currently work on weekdays, so I’m available full time on the weekends, and anytime before 8 am and after 5 pm on Monday through Friday. At home, I have two dogs that live in the house and have access to a fenced in yard! However, I will only be able to accept services within the clients own home, so I will care for their pets however they feel is best!

About: Dogs and cats have always been part of my life. I'm the go-to sitter for friends and family, and I genuinely love it. When I'm with your pet, they get real attention: walks, playtime, and someone who's present with them the whole time. I pay close attention to the animals in my care. On one stay, I noticed a dog had an injury the day after his owners left. I kept them informed and confident throughout the whole recovery, and by the time they got home, he was almost fully healed and thriving. You'll get regular updates and photos while you're gone so you can actually enjoy your trip. Your pet is family. I treat them that way. I work remotely, so I'm around throughout the day, no long stretches where your pet is alone. I can let them out anytime, squeeze in a walk or play session between calls, and actually be present in a way a 9-5 sitter can't. Weekends, I'm completely free and fully focused on them. I do house sitting out of your home, which means your pet stays in their own environment, their own routine, and their own space, no adjustment period, no stress. I travel light and show up with everything I need, so your home stays exactly as you left it. Your pet gets my full attention for the entire stay. I'm a homebody when I'm on a sit, I'm not rushing out or leaving them for long stretches. Your pet stays comfortable, calm, and well-loved the whole time you're away.
About: I have lived with animals as far back as I can remember. I started off caring for litters of kittens at around 7 years old, doing my best to help my mom's cat breeding business. When I got a little older, I begged my mom for a puppy. I always loved both cats and dogs and the incessant begging was actually how we got Charlie (my childhood dog). I love animals so much. I love meeting new animals and seeing them start to trust me more allowing their personality to shine. My love for animals led me to pursuing an occupation where dogs were kinda my coworkers haha. I was working for a Doggie Daycare in Gardena, CA. It was so fun and I learned so much about dogs being surrounded by so many different breeds everyday. I even learned some training and proper conduct for nervous doggies. We had so many fun sports/activities planned for the dogs everyday, and if it wasn't so far from my house, I would still be working there. I want to take my love for cats and dogs and help people in my neighborhood. I have a ton of experience with animals and l really love playing and caring for pets of any size or breed. <3 Looking forward to meeting your furry buddy. :) My current availability is open, just moved back to the Irvine area about two weeks ago and have not yet fully established myself back yet. Job hunting in the next month or so. I can't currently watch your dog at my residence, as it is prohibited to have animals where I am right now. I am very careful to keep dogs on a short lead until I know there is no threat to their safety. I am also a certified lifeguard if you live in an area with water nearby. I have experience with animal fights and breaking up tension.

I have a backyard with a lot of roaming space for my dogs and am prepared to spend as much time with them as you would like me too.

“Vivian is the best, she took great care of my two cats! I was extra impressed because my shy cat who never comes out when strangers are at the house, came out to start a relationship with Vivian, just from that I know Vivian is a gentle soul and she is the right person to look out for my fur babies! Thank you for an excellent job!”

About: My family has two rescues of our own, one of which has allergies and special care needs that I attend to. I also have experience caring for and working with senior dogs. I love dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’m largely free over the summer until I return to college at Humboldt in the fall. I only have a few weeks in late June/July where I’ll be gone, working as a camp counselor. I focus on high-quality care for each and every pet. I’m attentive to their needs, as well as their safety, and maintaining cleanliness in clients’ homes.

I am currently retired and my schedule is wide open. 4 kids and 7 grandkids are now all located out of state. No more babysitting duties. Make sure the pets are fed, walked and have an opportunity to relieve themselves. Currently i don't have pets in my home but have a fenced secure area.

Orange Park Acres cat parents share their Rover experiences
Elise was amazing. I would highly recommend her! She did a great job taking care of everything while I was out of town for 4 days. She sent lots a really great pictures and a very detailed and fun update each day. Her pricing is reasonable and her services a 10/10.

Kyra remains my favorite sitter. She is so thorough, communicative, and detail oriented. She’s also been incredibly sweet, patient, and kind with my very anxious cats. I appreciate both her professionalism and her friendly demeanor. I recommend her to other pet owners without reservation!

Maia is communicative, friendly, and detailed. She scheduled a meet and greet with me and my cats to make sure she understood all of their needs and where things were. She gave them treats and sent lots of pics of them playing and hanging around. I would definitely have Maia watch them again!

First off, Kaylee's response time is fast. I sent a request late on Saturday, and she responded Sunday morning, and we had a meet and greet Sunday afternoon. At the meet and greet, she asked me questions that I didn't think about, such as whether my cat needed to take medications. During my trip, she sent me updates with photos at every dropin visit. She followed all instructions I gave her. I had multiple feed and water stations, and she refilled all of them. She also washed the cat dishes, collect my mail and packages and took them inside the house. On the final day, she took out the trash, which I did not ask her to do. Kaylee took initiative to do things that kept my cat well fed, clean and healthy. I did not have to worry at all about my cat's wellbeing during my trip because I had confidence Kaylee would take good care of my cat.
