“Natalia was an amazing caregiver for our senior dog. We had a two week vacation and I was concerned about how our fur baby would do. Natalia helped her through an eating issue and then our dog became part of her family! Natalia's experience and calm demeanor kept our anxious girl settled. Looking forward to being able to travel knowing we have found the right person! Thank you so much :)”

“We are so grateful we found Anthony, he was friendly and responsive and had a welcome home for furry friends. He sent pics of Zeus, our 15 yr old mini schnauzer and made us feel comfortable with leaving him for a few days. Thank you Anthony for taking care of our little old man! We highly recommend him for your furry pal and will definitely look him up in the future if he is available. Thanks!”

“Roscoe and I are so lucky we found Sarah and Noah! They were wonderful, communicative, and friendly. Most of all, they have excellent experience with senior dogs who may need a bit more patience and TLC. I felt confident that Roscoe was being lovingly cared for during his overnight stay. We can't wait to hang out with them again!”

“We have happy, clean, great smelling dogs after they've been with Charles! Charles is the best! He is our 'go-to' for all our out of town trips. Our dogs can't wait for us to go away again! :)”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with a sitter, so we were a bit worried at first. However, she was incredibly kind and attentive, and took such great care of our dog. She made sure to keep up with walks, meals, and overall condition, and sent us regular updates and photos, which really put us at ease. Our dog looked very comfortable and stress-free the entire time. She is someone we can truly trust, and we highly recommend her!”

“Heather and her family were wonderful with our dogs. They were so relaxed and happy with her and her family. They truly loved and cared for them as if they were their own. We received pictures and videos every day of our fur babies with updates. I highly recommend her and cannot say enough good things about her and how she took care of our pups. Thank you again so much for being so great with them!”

“Kenzie was a wonderful caregiver for Buddy and Cody. She provided excellent care, sent me updates, pictures, and payed close attention to their needs. She gave them lots of love, took them for daily walks, and provided stimulating experiences. I will definitely request her for future sittings.”
“Wen was AMAZING with Thor! She kept sending me updates and pictures/videos of Thor! She took him twice for a walk and played with him outside! We loved Wen and can’t wait to work with her again! 🐾🙏🏻🤍”

“Niloofar was a great sitter. She kept the pictures and videos coming, making sure I am aware of my dog’s wellbeing. In addition, Niloofar also made her own food topper out of fresh grounded turkey, and fed to my dog in addition to his normal diet. Lastly, she gave my dog a bath before me picking him up.”

“Patricia has great communication and always replies in a timely manner. She sends a lot of pictures of your dog to let them know how they're doing and is very accommodating. I will continue to request her services as long as she's available!”

“Our dog Ladybug had such a great time with Bingjie and Raymond that we've already booked another stay. Bingjie and Raymond are kind-hearted, caring and hard-working and their compassion for dogs really shows. The photos showed that Ladybug had plenty of walks and affection. Bingjie and Raymond devoted a lot of attention to cleaning her goopy eyes every day. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends. Thanks for your care Bingjie and Raymond!”
“Holly was so great with our dog. She was so patient and willing to make sure the our dog felt comfortable. She gave so many updates and messages through the whole day.”

“Junping watched our 14 year old Boston Terrier for three days and she was amazing! She sent many pictures and videos and made sure he was walked plenty. I can say that we have found our new “go to” dog sitter for when we leave town. Thank you very much!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 4 years, from quick walks to overnight stays. I treat every dog like family with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention to their individual routines and needs. I also have my own small dog at home, so I understand the little things that matter: feeding schedules, potty breaks, and making sure your pup feels safe and comfortable the whole time. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or a total lap dog, I’ll make sure they’re happy, healthy, and well-loved while you’re away! Since I work from home, caring for the dogs fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed into scheduled breaks. I start the morning with a potty break, breakfast, and a walk before I log on, then the dogs settle in near my desk for the morning work block, with casual check-ins along the way. Around midday I take my lunch break to give them another potty break and refresh their water, then it’s back to work in the afternoon, with the dogs never left alone since I’m home the entire time. Once my workday wraps up in the late afternoon, we head out for a longer walk or playtime, followed by dinner, an evening potty break, and one final outing before bed. Because I’m present all day rather than just popping in, the dogs get consistent supervision and company from morning to night, not just at scheduled intervals. 🛡️ Safety & Trust Environment Introductions • New dogs are introduced slowly and one at a time, on neutral ground first • Supervised play only until comfort and compatibility are confirmed • Separate spaces available if any dog needs a break or shows stress Home Safety • Secure, fenced play area — gates checked before every outdoor session • No toxic plants, foods, or chemicals within reach • Choking hazards and small objects kept out of paws’ reach • Fresh water available at all times Supervision • Dogs are never left unsupervised with unfamiliar dogs • Overnight check-ins for any dog showing anxiety or restlessness • Crate or designated calm space available for dogs who prefer it Health & Emergency Prep • Owner’s vet contact and emergency contact kept on file for every stay • Basic pet first aid kit on hand • Nearest emergency vet clinic address saved and ready • Immediate photo/video updates sent to owners so they always feel their dog is safe Trust & Communication • Daily photo/video updates sent to owners • Honest, prompt communication about any behavior changes, incidents, or concerns • Meet-and-greet offered before every new booking so owners can see the space and ask questions

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orange Park Acres
Parisa and Sam were wonderful with Benji. Immediately after messaging her to see if they were available, she responded promptly. They were gracious enough to take our dog with little notice after a family member could not watch him when we were going on vacation. You will feel comfortable and assured with their care because they take your fur baby in like one of their own. They asked about his diet, his habits and explained everything well so we could leave without any worries. They are very experienced dog lovers and understand them so well. Before even an hour after dropping off Benji, they sent me a video of him learning basic commands, ie lay, stay, stand with their own sweet dog, Coco. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their Fur baby to be with someone like family.

Kathy is a great dog sitter! Her space is clean, spacious and a great environment for pets. We’ve booked with Kathy twice and each time she’s been responsive, communicative, and kept us updated with lots of sweet photos. Would highly recommend booking with Kathy as we definitely will!

We are relieved we found such a great person to help watch our little buddy Chase. Nina communicated daily, multiple times with his status, and included photos. It can sometimes be hard to leave your 4 legged family member with new people but Nina and Harold made it seamless and knew Chase was in good hands. We will use Nina again.

Wow! Christine and Zachary are amazing. They sent photos every day and kept in touch. My dog was so obviously happy there; I was a afraid she wouldn't want to come home. She got along with their dog and sweet little boy. That was something I was worried about because as sweet as she is, I've never tested her with children. The meet and greet put me at ease, and we did a test day before boarding. Will book again!

Elaine and her whole family have been so kind and caring with my senior dog Billy. I wish I could give 6 stars. She is so thoughtful and Kind. Elaine kept me posted with photos and videos of my dog, which made me feel at ease to actually enjoy my trip. Elaine administered all the eye medications Billy needed and carefully monitored him as he had recently had surgery. Thanks so much, Elaine. Hope to see you again soon!

This is my first time so i left so many note for Ilene but she was happy to follow all. Ilene took care of Royce really good, she follow the feeding structure even better than my dad lol since Royce home he doesnt picky eat anymore and doesnt lose a lb. Royce had anxiety and is scared of new people animal or environment but after 2 weeks hanging out with her dogs he is much more confident. Her dogs seems active, friendly and that help Royce a lot. He's not a spoiled rat anymore lol 17 days are a long time and she updates his pic and video to me almost everyday. Royce came home happily, and bounced back to structure really fast make me believe she keeps his structure as much as she can. Thank you Ilene

Doug was a life saver at a last minute booking and my fur babies were so happy safe and excited. Thank you again we now have a new play dates and safe environment for my fur babies ..

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Orange Park Acres home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Orange Park Acres.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Orange Park Acres sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
