Huilin did an amazing job taking care of Tucker. From booking, drop off to pick, it was extremely easy and she was very flexible when I dropped off Tucker 15 minutes before my drop off time. Highly recommend and will definitely use her services again.

Our dog, Lucy, returned home after a day with Ema and three other doggie friends content and at ease. Ema was great about sending videos and pictures of Lucy throughout the day. In one picture Lucy was happily lying next to Ema, completely relaxed. Ema also took the time to ask about Lucy's habits and needs, which I appreciated. We are happy to have found Ema thru Rover and look forward to Lucy having more chances to spend time with Ema and her two doggie family.

About: I have two decades of caring for my own pets — plus family and friends’ pets. I have handled every stage of life, every personality, and every quirk. That depth of experience builds instincts you can’t learn from a course. I have been relied on because my consistent, dependable, and genuinely invested in their pets’ well‑being. I don’t get flustered and I know how to read body language, manage routines, and keep pets comfortable and safe. Puppies, seniors, shy dogs, energetic dogs — I have cared for them all. That versatility gives owners peace of mind. My daily routine already aligns well with dog‑friendly work. I can structure schedules around drop‑ins, walks, or boarding. Walking is a great way for me to exercise and having a companion by my side makes it all that more enjoyable. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby Australian Sheppard to keep your dog company. I ensure your dog keeps with daily routines such as eating times and exercise. Exercise and play time are great ways to spend time with pets. It helps to get to know your pet better and keep them happily distracted while their "pack" is away. I do not leave dogs in the yard. At night I keep an eye on them while they go outside. Especially while caring for smaller dogs.

I was quite nervous about leaving my 5 month old Shih Tzu, Tux for the first time, he has only ever been with my partner and I so quite naturally he very nervous upon arrival. However, Avancon and his gracious partner went above and beyond to make him comfortable...I mean, ABOVE and BEYOND!. From hand feeding him his food (wet food!!!!!) to gentle engagement that slowly calmed his nerves and allowed him to relax. I also received frequent updates and pics which I really appreciated, the great communication enabled me to have a worry free, productive work day. Words cannot express my true appreciation, I highly recommend this household for anyone with a puppy who they want to feel seen and loved.

This was Cookie’s first time staying with a sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met Helen, we felt at ease—she’s warm, kind, and so easy to talk to. She treated Cookie like her own and kept us updated with sweet messages and photos that truly gave us peace of mind. It’s never easy leaving your furry family member with someone new, but with Helen, we felt completely safe. We’re so grateful to have found her, and we’ll definitely be reaching out again. Thank you, Helen, for taking such loving care of our girl.

Heather was amazing!! She was able to accept my last-minute frantic request and so early in the morning. I seriously appreciated that. She was very communicative, sent great, reassuring photos, and really gave me a rundown of their process of how they introduce new dogs to their dogs. That's really good they have that. She's super nice and my dad legit did not want to come home when I went to pick him up. He even cried the first few minutes of the ride home. She's somewhat out of the way for me, but she's worth it! I would definitely book her again and can't recommend her more.

We had such a great experience! This was our puppy’s very first time at daycare, so we were a little nervous about leaving her, but she made us feel at ease from the beginning. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the day, and her communication was fantastic. What really stood out to us was how knowledgeable and experienced she is with dogs. Even before daycare, she took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our dog’s personality, routine, behavior, and needs so she could make sure she was giving her the best possible care. It was very clear that she genuinely understands dogs and pays attention to each dog as an individual. She also gave us some really helpful observations and training suggestions afterward, which we really appreciated. We felt like our dog was not only safe and well cared for, but with someone who truly knew what she was doing and cared about her experience. We’re so happy we found her and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Elena was incredible. She started off by stopping by to meet Hollys couple days before her stay and immediately hit it off. Holly was extremely excited when I dropped her off and I don’t think I’ve ever felt more comfortable, dropping her off as I did today. Elena is very responsive, extremely polite and exhibited world class professionalism. I know who I’m trusting Holly with for future sitting.

Always Welcome!" – Another Great Stay We just picked Mina up from another stay with Ilene, and it’s clear she has found a second home there. Ilene and her husband both mentioned that Mina is always welcome in their house and that she gets along beautifully with the other dogs. It’s such a relief to have a sitter where no issues are noted and our pup is genuinely enjoyed. Ilene provides a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. We couldn’t ask for more!

As of September 2026, there are 4,627 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Orange Park Acres. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Orange Park Acres commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,627 sitters in Orange Park Acres, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
