“Thank you for taking such amazing care of my fur babies while my family went to Disney! It was great to enjoy the day and not worry. And you are so close to the park, it made leaving late in a foreign city, so much easier! Hope to use you our next visit!!!”

“Claudia was flexible , understanding and kind to my Little Beans. He let me know after day 1 that he was excited to be there with her and her family. He loved playing with the other dogs , running free in the fenced yard and that there were children. I could tell by his excitement that it was a great place to be and am grateful to have found Claudia . She took great care of my furbaby and comforted him when he was afraid of the fireworks. It means the world to me to have someone I can trust on my visits to Anaheim! 🙏🐾”

“Bao was wonderful and took excellent care of our little pup as if it were one of her own dogs. We planned a busy Saturday and decided at the last minute to do something Friday night. We reached out to Bao; she was very accommodating and welcomed us to bring Archie over on Friday, since she was already planning to watch him on Saturday. Traveling with a dog is not easy. You have to plan your time around your dog’s needs and worry about their safety and well-being. Our dog is very attached to us and struggles with being left behind. Bao was very understanding and gentle with our dog. She took extra time to make sure he was comfortable and gave him lots of pets to soothe him. Her communication was outstanding, sending us plenty of pictures and updates throughout his stay. The best part was when we picked him up; you could tell he had a great time. Bao truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip because we knew our dog was in good hands. We HIGHLY recommend Bao and would return to her whenever we’re in the Anaheim area.”

“Yvette and her mother did an amazing job taking a last minute request to watch my puppy for over 7 hours. I’m so appreciative of them both. They continuously sent pictures of my dog, walked him and fed him as requested! This was my first time dropping him off at a dog sitter, I was nervous as heck but overall my experience was great with these two ladies. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!”

“Hazel had such a great day with Emilie and her mini Aussie Remi! Emilie was very flexible in drop off and pick up times, sent photos and updated throughout the day. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have had the privilege of having pets for the last 10 years. I’ve had anything from shitzus to pit bulls to birds and more. My first fur baby was diagnosed with lymphoma and have also experienced extensive care for pets. I will make sure your pet does not feel lonely and cared for. I am currently out for summer break, I work at a school district so I am available most days of the week for any service I have a small yard. I do have pets inside the home too. I am available to take them to the dog park or walks as I live by a calm area.
“Dulce was an amazing pet sitter for our 4-month old puppy while our family went to Disneyland. We dropped our baby off early in the morning and picked her up at midnight. We have a high energy dog and even when we play fetch with her in our backyard for an hour, she still wants to continue playing. After a day with Dulce, she was so tired from playing, she just wanted to rest. She also came back to us each day smelling like she was just washed, so Dulce might’ve been giving her baths as well, which is above and beyond just pet sitting. Throughout the day, we got photos and videos of our puppy. Enough to know she was doing well and not too much that it was spammy.”

“Gloria & Ro took amazing care of our sweet Lenny for 3 days during the day. By day 2 he was racing to their front door! He had fun at the dog park & made some new puppy friends! We will definitely be repeat customers”

“I came to California to visit and needed a place for my doggie! I called so many doggy daycares but they were all booked, someone recommended me to use Rover and I decided to take a look and I found the first three people but the other two couldn’t take care of my dog so I decided to leave her with Romina! It was the best decision I’ve ever taken because she took care of my doggy very well, she walked my dog took her in her home and played with her, she let her sun bathe and gave me hourly updated on my doggy! My dog absolutely loved her and her partner ! If I ever come back to California I’ll definitely bring her back to Romina! And I’ll forever appreciate it! 🫶🏼”

“Annie was great! She took excellent care of our dog and sent pictures and videos to assure us that our dog was enjoying her stay. Very nice house and fenced in backyard near Disneyland.”

“Lindsey was very attentive to our senior dog. She showed a lot of love and took very good care of him. He didn't want to leave! Thanks for showing him a wonderful time Lindsey!”

“Alicyn was awesome with Mochi. She was very great on updating us every couple of hours with tons of photos. We could tell by the photos that Mochi was in good hands and was having a wonderful time with Alicyn. She took Mochi on multiple walks and after provided photos and detailed updates on how he was doing and what he was doing. We definitely will be using Alicyn again when we visit the area.”

“Alex and his mom have been frequently caring for Remy the past 3 weeks. My husband and I were very nervous about selecting the right sitter, but we couldn’t have asked for more with Alex and his mom. Our dog Remy is very silly and loves a lot of attention, and Alex and his mom have treated him with so much love and care as if he were their own. We highly recommend them!!”

I really appreciated the care that everyone in the household did for Kyoshi, they treated her like a part of their family. If you want an amazing mom and pop care. This is the spot. They sent photo updates which made me feel secure and happy, fed Kyoshi well and, took her out for walks, even cleaned her tear stains. I’m definitely coming back to them when I come back to Disney. I highly recommend this family.

This is Mary's second time in doggy day care with Gloria. And it only got better. She spent the week having a great time with her friend Boba. And they are like best buds now rolling around playing together on the rug. I'm not sure who to recommend more: Gloria or her bulldog Boba!!

I could not speak highly enough Yvette and Jessi. My dog, Maui, has issues sometimes when being left behind with complete strangers in an unfamiliar environment and they were able to calm her down and went to great lengths to get her comfortable in their home so that my husband and I can go to Disneyland for the day. Their home is beautiful and located in close proximity to Disneyland so it was quite convenient. They were both very transparent and kept in constant communication and updated on my pup’s status. They were so warm and friendly and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care and that’s all you really can hope for when trying to find someone last minute but they went above and beyond.
Had an excellent experience with Sarina's pet service for my dog. She was very responsive in our initial contacts and coordinating with my brief schedule in Anaheim area. Upon meeting her, I was quite reassured that she would be great and my dog liked her right away. During the visit Sarina took her on a few walks and avoided contact with other dogs at my request to avoid any potential conflicts. I had provided specific instructions about medication, food and she handled all of it with ease. I again used her services a few days later while visiting downtown Disney and she was very accommodating as well. I would have no hesitation using Sarina again and see how much she loves dogs and my dog really enjoyed her company. Thanks again, Sarina.
SJ was absolutely awesome! I've never had a better experience. Neither has my puppy, Mary. She got to play at the dog park, her favorite activity, twice in one day! The pictures SJ sent of her exhausted and napping after playtime were so adorable. I'll definitely book with her again.

Siqin, aka Steve, was great with my Sammy! He updated me when she was all settled in and relaxed and took care of her old lady needs, diaper changes and sitting with her a while she ate. She had lots of fun with his pup and we look forward to next time. Thanks so much!!

Carol is super attentive, sent us pictures throughout the day and was understanding of us running late for pickup. Our puppy loved spending time with her. Hopefully she’s available for future trips to DisneyLand! It’s nice to have someone you can trust with your beloved pet and Carol is that someone.

I'm so glad I found Enoc available at the last minute for the Valentines weekend for my dog Angel. He was punctual, respectful, and I know my boy enjoyed his time with him. Enoc was very responsive & accommodating to Angels needs. I will definitely be contacting him again to dogsit for Angel. Thank you! 🐶

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Anaheim commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
