About: We love creatures of all kinds! Dogs, cats, reptiles and more. I work from home full time and just had to put my sweet Arya to rest. My family loves to care for animals and enjoys them in the home. Lots of TLC, big fenced in yard and lots of snuggles. Kids are 16, 10 and 10. I work from home full time as a client support consultant. I also homeschool my three children (ages 16, 10 and 10). I am home all day! There are some sport activities that require a drop off around 3pm, but home most of the day with availability to feed, walk and care for your pets. I would be with your pet most of the day. Doors are secured with a fenced in yard with lots of grass and shade. Food is tucked away and children in the home are older and very familiar with caring for pets and keeping them safe.

She and her sons were so friendly and loving to our boys and she provided updates, pics and even videos. She followed our feeding instructions great and took them for a walk both days together. I’m reliable, attentive, patient, and caring and will always make sure every furry friend feels safe, happy, and gets the exercise they need. I treat every animal like they’re my own and love sending updates and photos/videos so you know they’re having a great time! My weekly schedule is pretty flexible, and I usually have a lot of availability throughout the day. Some weeks look different than others, but I keep my calendar updated and make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to! Boarding/Day care: I only accept one family’s pets at a time to provide individualized care. I have a large backyard for your dogs to roam around, play, and relax! They’ll be lots of play time in the yard if not they’ll be inside with the AC on and relax. House sitting: I respect each pet’s comfort level and approach them on their terms! I’m comfortable cleaning up any accidents in the house, following feeding schedules, and crating pets if needed. There will be lots of play time too of course.

Our pet dog Bella is like one of our children, so we were having separation anxiety over leaving her for the day with a stranger. We met Melissa in a “meet and greet” at her home, and immediately were put at ease by her manner. Once we dropped Bella off for doggy day care, Melissa sent us a couple of pictures showing Bella on her blanket, relaxing in her new environment. Soon thereafter she sent us several new pictures as she took Bella for a walk, and Bella looked as if she was having a great day! I can only say that I was truly amazed. I’ve used dog boarding services on other platforms before, but this was my first time using Rover and choosing a home boarding family. I never expected that my dog would be so reluctant to leave. He didn’t want to go out, and even after going outside, he kept turning back, clearly wanting to return to the house. This makes me absolutely certain that my dog received so much love, care, and companionship during his stay.
