About: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover. The corgi you see in my photo is my beloved baby of nearly 14 years, Namie. She went to woof planet this year, and I’m not ready for a new dog anytime soon. Recently, a friend asked if I could pet-sit, and I realized how therapeutic it felt for me. It also made me happy knowing they trusted me with their fur babies, especially since I have years of experience caring for my own. Before Namie came into my life, I was also a dog walker, but later transitioned into office work. Truthfully, I’ve always felt deeply connected to animals since I was a kid. I will treat your fur baby with the same level of care and attention, because I truly understand how much they mean to you. They are family, and they deserve the best. I’m currently a psychology student and am usually at school in the mornings to early afternoons, Monday through Thursday (depending on the quarter). I am fully available during the weekends. My priority has always been to return home as soon as possible to care for my dog; making sure she could go out, feel safe, and stay relaxed. I will give your fur baby that same level of care, attention, and love. When caring for your pet in your home, I understand that every fur baby needs time to feel comfortable with someone new. I always approach slowly and calmly, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. I may use treats or their favorite toy to help build trust, but I also respect their space and wait for them to approach me when they’re ready. Once they feel comfortable, we can play, go for a walk around the neighborhood based on your preference, or simply relax together. I understand that every dog is different, some are more active, while others prefer cuddling and quiet time. In my dog’s later years, she preferred staying home, so I’m also very comfortable providing calm companionship, whether that’s relaxing together, watching TV, or engaging in gentle play like hide and seek. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I’ve loved caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I regularly walked my family’s dogs and helped neighbors with theirs as well. Most recently, I’ve been a consistent dog sitter for the past six months, staying in a client’s home and caring for their dog while they’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and adaptable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away As a college student on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet care throughout the week and on weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules and am happy to provide care at times that work best for you and your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and bathroom breaks, and always have fresh water available. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re my own and provide a safe, loving environment.

About: I am the biggest dog person you will ever meet! I grew up taking care of a dog until my senior year of high school when she sadly passed away. In my senior year of college my roommate and I owned and took care of a senior dog. After she passed I decided to provide dog sitting services in the Berkeley area. I have experience with both large and small dogs, dogs that are leash reactive, dogs that are anxious, and dogs with a ton of energy! Additionally, throughout high school and over COVID I volunteered at a local animal shelter and provided dog walking and dog sitting services in Orange County! I've been told that I have a way with dogs, with many owners surprised that their normally timid pup warms up to me quickly. If you need to know your dog's in good hands, I am more than happy to give them a wonderful stay! I am home for two months this summer before I move to Ireland. My only plan for the summer is get ready for my move as well as train for my first marathon! I'm also looking to spend as much time outdoors as possible, including the park, the beach, hikes, and walks, that I would gladly have a furry friend accompany me on. In the evenings I typically like to get cozy and read or watch TV, and I would appreciate a cuddle buddy. I have a big, fenced backyard that would be any dog's paradise! I'm also more than happy to take any dog on a field trip to have some fun in the sun! I can provide lengthy walks multiple times a day and even have the dog accompany me on runs if they need to get some of their extra energy out.

About: I’m a dependable and strong woman who’s comfortable with bigger dogs, but gentle and patient with smaller ones. I’m not a professional trainer, but I pay attention to dogs and can usually tell when they’re feeling scared, stressed, or unsure. I also stay aware of my surroundings on walks to help keep every dog safe. I do work a full time M-F 9-5 and have a dog of my own. So I’m only available weekends for now I will follow any instruction, no matter how unusual, lol. Feeding, walks, routines, if it’s leaving the tv or music on or warm up a heat pad, etc, whatever you need—so your pet feels comfortable and taken care of.

Her communication was outstanding the entire stay. She sent constant updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful messages that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Every update showed how loved and comfortable Pixie was. Ana went above and beyond with Pixie with playing with her constantly, introducing new games, cuddling with her on the couch, and even sleeping beside her because Pixie wanted to be close to her. Seeing how attached Pixie became says everything about the kind of person Ana is. She also took phenomenal care of our home. Everything was spotless, organized, and exactly as we left it. By the end of the stay, Ana no longer felt like “just” a Rover sitter — she felt like family. We trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring, responsible, communicative, and truly wonderful with animals. Pixie already misses her, and so do we!”

About: Hello! I’m Chloe and I would love to be the next sitter for your fur babies! I have been working with Rover for about 2 years now and have always had a great experience with both being a sitter and using the sitting services. As a current student, I have ample time to take care of your fur babies diligently and make sure they are the happiest they can be! We have a yard and park where they can run and play. As a pet owner myself, I make sure to allot plenty of time to spend with your pet 😁 I have a secure, fenced yard where your pets can run and play! I also have a large park nearby where I can use a long leash and have them run around!

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, all with very different personalities! I also started pet sitting from a very young age. I’m good with all ages, from puppies to seniors! I currently work on weekdays, so I’m available full time on the weekends, and anytime before 8 am and after 5 pm on Monday through Friday. At home, I have two dogs that live in the house and have access to a fenced in yard! However, I will only be able to accept services within the clients own home, so I will care for their pets however they feel is best!

About: Hi, I’m Jen! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without one. I grew up with family dogs, and at 24, I welcomed my own pup, Maddy — a sweet cockapoo who was by my side for 18 amazing years. Today, I’m raising Penny, my playful Goldendoodle puppy, and recently fostered Millie, a loving cocker spaniel who reminded me just how much I enjoy caring for dogs in all stages of life. I’ve also looked after the pets of friends and family and have been dog sitting regularly through Rover and word-of-mouth referrals for the past year. I care for dogs big and small and treat each one like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home in my care. I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins, and overnight sitting. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your dog whether it be a walk, drop-in or overnight house sitting. I keep a close eye on our dogs at all times and I am hypervigilent about their safety considering the amount of coyotes around Yorba Linda. When walking I carry a whistle in case a coyote comes near to scare them off. Also, I only let dogs out after dark with a leash on.

About: Hi! My name is Nikki, I am a student at UCSC from Southern California and have a lot of experience with many different animals. Here in Santa Cruz I have a 3 year old cat named Mr. Whiskers. At home in Socal I also have a 13 year old standard poodle, a 13 year old yorkie-poo, a 5 year old miniature labradoodle, and a 1 year old cat (along with a tortoise and some other exotic pets!). I have always loved dog-sitting for my neighbors, with breeds including german shepherds, golden retrievers, labs, doodles, jack russel's, and other mixed breeds. I'd been consistently dog-sitting for 4 years until I took a break being in Santa Cruz, since my client base is in Socal, but have committed myself to caring for my own cat and my friend's pets when they are out of town. When it comes to caring for your pet, I will dedicate just as much love and care as I do my own! Additionally, my cat has unfortunately had to deal with some urinary issues causing him to be on a permanent urinary prescription diet and having to take meds during his flare-ups. Because of this, I completely understand the struggles of caring for a loved pet with health issues. It has allowed me to be very comfortable with administering both pill and liquid forms of medication to pets and punctual with needed times of administration. I am a full-time student so I provide drop ins before and after my classes and work around school schedule. I'm available on all days in the morning and evening and afternoons on all days except tuesdays and thursdays. When doing drop-ins, I would love to take care of your fur babies for enrichment, feeding, playing, and anything you already do with them that helps them feel happy and comfortable! I am currently a full-time student but my classes are very bunched together so I have plenty of time before and after classes to give love to your pets! I am super flexible with the environment that I am in to care for your pets and want them to feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are gone. I have no problem following very specific routines for your pet's needs!
