For walks, I always make sure my dog’s harness is on correctly and fitted. Because his fur is very fluffy/dense, he was able to escape from his harness one time, but I have learned my lesson… I let him sniff freely (when it’s safe/clean to do so) and even let him lead when I have allotted a lot of walking time for him! I also ALWAYS carry extra poop bags in case you run out or they poop a bit more than anticipated. For dogsitting, I will always ask questions about how to care, and I will be attentive to your dog in case there is ever a situation where I am not well-equipped to handle. Your doggy will be in great hands and with a loving sitter! Lots of play time and cuddles. And, if you’d like I could practice their commands and give them lil treats! If I am boarding, my house is fully fenced (Shiba-proofed), and I am extremely careful when they are outside. My own dog is very chill and playful as he loves walking and playing with other dogs! He is also vaccinated and 5 years old.

Please let me know if there are any behaviors that I should look out for that could flag something that you might have been concerned about! If you had to go to the vet for something that happened within the past 2-3 years, I would like to know ahead of time, so I understand your dog’s history better. I would also love to know their favorite tricks, treats, and toys, so your doggy will feel very cared for and stimulated <3

I love to go on runs or hikes with the dogs I have walked, and I let them sniff whatever (except dangerous/gross stuff) to mentally stimulate their brains! I understand being stuck at home is so boring for them, so I try to make their walks as enjoyable as possible!

Hi everyone :) I grew up around dogs and love them so much! I’ve dog-sitted my family’s pets seasonally when they had to go out of town and walked my neighbors’/friends’ dogs! Currently, we have a boy Shiba Inu at home, and we love him so much <3 I am open to learning anything that will help serve you and your baby’s needs!

Vy is the best! She is extremely thoughtful, thorough, and I can tell she really cares about my pet, she is my go to for any of my dog sitting needs. From meeting her to the end of her stay at my house, she kept me updated with photos and how my dog was doing. This was my first time hiring a sitter instead of boarding and I’m super thankful it was with Vy!
Vy has sat for my 7 yo Shiba Inu Soba multiple times, and I trust her completely. She reads Soba well, communicates clearly, and gives useful updates on how good my doggy is doing. Soba comes home happy. Highly recommend!!
Vy was a pleasure to have as a dogsitter! We only needed her for the night, but she was very thorough and communicative, ensuring we had pictures and updates throughout the night. Will book again soon.
Vy helps me out and takes good care of my goldendoodle. She is really responsible, reliable, and genuinely really loves animals. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog walker, my dog always gets sooooo excited whenever Vy comes over to walk him and that really puts a big smile on my face knowing he is in good hands.
