About: Hi! My name is Summer, and I'm originally from Colorado and am a student at Chapman University. Back home, I have two Aussie Doodles that I would walk every day. Since my Freshman year of high school, I have taken care of several dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Whether it was routine walks, letting them out if my neighbor had a busy day, watching them overnight, or just giving them some love and playtime, I was always there. I would love to do the same for my new neighbors here in California. While I miss my pets, I can't wait to love yours! I'm currently a student at Chapman University and have a lighter class load this semester, which allows me to devote more time to pet sitting and walking. On Monday, I have a class from 4:00pm-6:50pm; on Tuesday and Thursday, classes from 11:30am-5:15pm; on Wednesday, a class from 1:00pm-3:50pm; and no class on Fridays. As long as I have notice, I can always take care of pets on the weekends as well! I have a car, so I can easily go back and forth from school to take care of your animal and stay with them, not only to let them out and feed them, but also to give them loads of love and playtime. Before entering or staying at a client's home, I discuss personal house rules and boundaries so we are always on the same page. About: I have taken care of my neighbors’ and family friends dogs since 2015 ranging from English bulldog to Chihuahua to full size labradoodles. I have also cared for my own dogs. I am currently working part-time Monday-Thursday and am available after 3pm. I am fully available on Fridays. I work 1 weekend day which does fluctuate between Saturday and Sunday depending on the week - on that work day, I am available before 9:30am and after 6:30pm. Luckily we found Hailey and she took great care of both our goofy boys throughout our time away. Our boys are both rescues and while they are total cuddlebugs, they can also be challenging on walks so it’s always worrisome when we leave them behind with new sitters. Luckily they got along great with Hailey. I’ll also add that when our AC stopped working halfway through our stay (thanks SoCal heatwave!) Hailey did her best to keep our boys comfortable, cooling their fur down with water, leaving them ice water to drink, and making sure the fan kept them as cooled off as possible in our home. Dana was absolutely AMAZING!! We have a new 19-week old German Shepherd puppy and had to go out of town for a week. We were stressed about leaving her with someone but Dana was so great with both Venus (our puppy) and Cleo (our 11-year old senior cat). She helped alleviate our stress and we knew our babies were being well taken care of. She went above and beyond with our pets and treated them amazing! She fed Venus her special meals, helped maintain training, lots of walks and playtime. She also did amazing at administering our cat her morning and nighttime meds (inhaler + oral injections).
