“Tessa took care of our cat Olivia for a couple of weeks while we were on vacation. She came in to visit and care of Olivia once a day. She was absolutely fantastic. She provided daily updates with photos to us. It was clear that Olivia adored Tessa and could not wait for her daily cuddles. Tessa is a kind and warm person who loves animals. About: Dogs have always been a part to my life since I was little. My current boy is a sweet and gentle rescue from Korea. I live in a spacious townhome with a backyard so your dog will have plenty of attention and space to run around. Finding the right person is the most important part, so from walking to pet sitting, I am a patient, compassionate, and knowledgable choice. If you have specific instructions for your dog, I always make it my priority to review carefully and follow precisely. Expect lots of photo and video updates when you book with me😊 Since I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and love being able to give dogs plenty of attention and companionship. I only take one Rover client at a time (alongside my dog Prince), so your pup will get lots of care and undivided attention. Prince is very friendly and social, so your dog will have a sweet, playful buddy to keep them company too. I live in a spacious townhome with a fenced patio for safe outdoor breaks. I’m very intentional about creating a calm, secure space where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. I follow your care instructions closely and treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. If your dog has medications, supplements, or any special requirements, I’m extremely detail oriented and happy to accommodate. I set timers and stick closely to feeding schedules, potty routines, and any specific instructions to ensure consistency and peace of mind while you’re away.

“Eunice is amazing. I had to book a super last minute stay for my cats. I honestly totally would have understood if she couldn’t take my cats in but she did. She was very prompt to respond, and took awesome care of my cats. She sent pictures and updates of my cats without having to reach out as well as informed on how they ate or their whereabouts at her place. Excellent people, if need be I would 100% rebook with Eunice. Reliable and very attentive. Thanks Eunice!!”

“Dalton was great with our 2 cats. He was responsive to messages, prompt, sent updates and photos while we were away, and most important, our kitties were happy when we returned.”

About: My 16-year-old Pomchi bestie, Stella, is a testament to my care. I have been feeding, bathing, and loving her since I was 17 years old, and she is still doing great in her senior years. I am also a masters-level clinician in behavior health as a behavior analyst (BCBA). Because of this, not only am I well-versed in behavior change, positive reinforcement, and navigating challenging behaviors, but I've also had the honor of working with families of diverse backgrounds, including neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ families :) I'm taking some time off from my usual work as I wait for my out-of-state licensing to process for a fully remote position. This means that I have lots of free time this summer. Help me get out of the house before playing Fortnite for 8+ hours a day rots my brain!!! I like to provide as much or as little communication as what would make you feel comfortable. Want pictures, a text update, and a video call while I'm visiting your pet? That sounds great! Prefer that I keep your phone notifications to a minimum? That works too!
About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs (mastiffs, labs, and basset hounds) since I was a kid and have regularly cat-sit for family members and friends since I was 14. From giving medicine to cleaning up accidents I’ve probably handled anything your pet could throw at me before, and if they manage to give me something new I’m happy to learn! I work full time in a corporate office so I’m available outside the hours of 8:30a-5:30p (most days) to check up on your pets. I’m more than happy to make drop in visits on my lunch if I can! I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible when I’m there! Treating your pet how you normally treat them is super important to me, and if for some reason I don’t think I’d be able to support your pet in their needs I’ll let you know right away so you can find a more appropriate sitter.

“Andrew is the most detailed for all of his visits. He is extremely helpful in making my fur baby and myself comfortable and while I was gone. I couldn’t ask for anyone more kind hearted than Andrew. I will be booking him again on my next venture.”

About: Cats each have their own unique personalities, routines, and comfort levels, and we take the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and relaxed. One of our most memorable experiences was caring for a 20-year-old diabetic cat who required insulin injections and a very specific feeding schedule. This experience helped us become comfortable administering medication and following detailed care routines to support a cat’s health and wellbeing. Across our travels and house-sits in different cities around the U.S., we’ve also cared for cats with a wide range of temperaments and different ages—from very social and playful cats to more shy or independent ones who prefer a slower approach. We’re attentive to each cat’s signals and adjust our interaction style so they feel comfortable and respected in their own space. My fiancé, Steve, also grew up with 6 cats as family pets and has spent many years caring for them throughout different stages of life. In addition to our house-sitting experience, he has regularly cared for friends’ cats as well, which has given him a strong understanding of typical feline routines and behaviors. Whether a cat enjoys lots of playtime and interaction or simply needs calm companionship, we focus on maintaining their routine, providing attentive care, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away.

“The service was excellent! This was my first time working with Yichen, and from her messages and the photos she shared, I could truly feel that she cared about my cats and looked after them very well. Highly recommended!!”

“Monet was amazing! She took really good care of my two cats while I was abroad and followed all of my instructions carefully and sent me tons of photos and updates. I was really happy booking with her and will definitely use her again for future.”

“Ashley has always been my go to for pet sitting, she truly cares for each pet she is caring for. I am usually nervous leaving my pets in the hands of someone else but Ashley takes such great care of them and enjoy having her around so much. If you are looking for a pet sitter do not look anywhere else, definitely book with Ashley!”

“Diana was a great petsitter who watched over our 2 cats for a long weekend. She was very communicative and followed all the instructions on how to feed them and administer medicine. She made us feel very comfortable leaving them in good hands!”

About: Hello, this is Joey! I have always had a fondness for dogs throughout my life. I have helped my extended family with watching their elderly dog, who has had a lot of problems with most people but she really likes me. I make sure to approach all pets with kindness and acceptance. Regardless of the challenge, I want to help out pets and seeing dig smiles fills me with joy! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. Whenever I am needs, I will do my best to accommodate their wishes. As long as you give me some ample time, I will make my schedule work for you! I live with my dog in my apartment but my husband and I always make sure to take her out for walks, play with her, and take her to the dog park to help keep her fit. For my extended family’s elderly dog, I make sure to watch her closely, give her easy to eat snacks, and take her into the backyard to get some exercise. I never rush her and make sure to wait for however long she need.

“My puppy, Python, loves going to Ashley's house! She has been Python's sitter since shortly after I got her at 6 weeks old. She's almost 5 months now, so Ashley's is like her home away from home. Ashley does great grooming, pays attention to and knows my puppy really well! She's reliable, caring, accommodating, and communicates well. I'm grateful to have her support in caring for my puppy!”

“Hannah and Dabin are very consistent with sending photos of Maggie throughout the day, and updating what she does. I felt very safe letting the couple take care of Maggie. Definitely will come back.”

“I was so lucky to get Rebecca to take care of my 5yr old Golden while we went for our vacation. She took care of my golden so very well. Rebecca send daily updates and pictures. Thank you Rebecca again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and currently have 2 cats. One of my cats is a senior (almost 20 years old) so I do have experience caring for a senior pet. I love animals and will treat yours as my own! I would prefer dogs who are kid friendly. About this sitter: My name is Tessa and I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3. I love animals and have 2 cats myself! I would love to make your dog a part of our family for the day or longer! Regarding my cats: I am able to keep my cats separate from your dog, if you are concerned about that. I think it’s best to keep them separate to avoid any issues. I put my cats in my primary bedroom upstairs along with all their stuff and they are perfectly fine! But if your dog is cat friendly, I don’t mind letting them interact a bit. My senior cat is just a little freaked out by high energy dogs but she calms down after a bit. My younger cat is probably more open to dogs, she’s very friendly and mellow. Either way, I’m happy to accommodate! I drop my 3 kids off at school Monday-Friday and I am done with that around 8:30am. I pick up my youngest at 1:40 and my middle child at 3pm. So I will have about 4 hours each day until pick up my youngest. I am also available most weekends. Just message me and will do my best to accommodate your schedule. We live in a 4 bedroom condo and I have a fenced in patio and plenty of walking space throughout my neighborhood. Your dogs will feel safe and right at home! I will also make sure that your dogs are safe and cared your dog is in my home!
“Molly was a great sitter for our baby Chanel. We can tell she really cares about the dogs she watches. We loved that she sent us pictures of our dog while we were away. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Beth and Sean (and Sunny) welcomed Kenzie into their home for a couple of daytime sittings. They sent plenty of updates and pictures of her stay, which was great. Very appreciative that they accepted a booking on short notice, as well. Thank you for caring for her!”

“Nancy and Richard were great with Iggy! We weren’t sure how he’d do with new people on his own but they took such good care of him and he did great! So grateful for a good first time Rover experience for Iggy.”

“Helen and her family were fantastic for my pup. Their home is spacious and beautifully kept, perfectly suitable for any pets. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Helen again to watch our little guy!”

“Olivia was great with both of our dogs! They came home happy and tired. She sent updates and photos throughout their stay and had really great communication the whole time. It was clear they were well taken care of. Thank you Olivia!”

“It was our first time using Rover. Our fur baby is only 2 months. He’s not potty trained and never been outside our house with strangers. Holly was very patient and sweet to him. She was very communicative and sent updates and pictures. She went above and beyond taking him out, bathing him, giving him treats and cuddling him since that’s all he’s used to at home. She was also flexible with us and accepted our reservation the night before. We will definitively reach out to Holly again when we need someone to care for Oreo.”

“Emma had a great time at Patricia's house. She was very relaxed and happy when I picked her up. Patricia lives a very short drive from the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds so if you are attending an all-day event there and don't want to have to worry about leaving your furry friend to fend for themselves all day, I highly recommend leaving your pet with Patricia. She is knowledgeable about dogs and very conscientious, having gone the extra mile to ensure that Emma was not able to get to any other animal's food (since Emma has food allergies). Patricia also texted me pics during the day of Emma enjoying her walk, which further helped to make my day more enjoyable by putting my mind at ease. I will not hesitate to book with Patricia again the next time I'm in the area!”

“One of the nicest people I’ve ever met. So kind and understanding. I had to cancel last minute and she was so great. I’m really looking forward to taking my Lucy to see her some day.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs starting at age 8 and later cared for eight cats along with two dogs of my own for over five years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also spent years pet sitting for families and neighbors, so I understand how important it is to be reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I was also working towards vet school, working at vet clinics for 3 years until I decided a career change, so I have lots of emergency pet care experience and have handled many different personalities! I’m patient with both high energy pets and more independent or shy ones, and I’m confident handling multiple pets at once. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals combined with real, hands on experience across both dogs and cats; and I don’t just watch pets, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I am currently a recent graduate, prepping for my board exam and looking for jobs so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur-baby! I am available to drop by and walk dogs Monday - Saturday, and our apartment is open for boarding any day of the week! I live in an apartment with plenty of grass area for dogs to go potty, as well as many parks nearby to take them on long walks. We currently have two cats at home to keep your baby company with many cat toys and cat tower for others to play in. If your fur-baby doesn't get along with other animals, we are willing to accommodate by keeping them separate!

I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll treat them like part of the family. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns I’d love to help! Because I have a puppy at home, I have managed my schedule around her needs and can do the same for your pups! Since moving home I have all the free time working remote, I’d love to hangout with your dogs and I know my dogs would too! Our yard is fully fenced in with grass and lots of area to run. We have a separate pool area that’s closed off, but if your dog likes to swim that can be arranged as well! Our home is one story and I will be with the dogs the whole time.

About: I’ve cared for my own dog for the past year, and I’ve also pet‑sat for my family members’ dogs whenever they’ve needed help. Those experiences taught me how to be patient, attentive, and consistent. I’m responsible and dependable, and I always make sure pets get the same level of care and comfort they’re used to at home. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can play and explore, plus a friendly dog of my own who loves company. My younger brothers are great with pets and enjoy playing with them under my supervision. If a dog needs structure or downtime, I can easily crate them based on the owner’s preference. I always follow each pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel comfortable and secure.

As a couple, we bring double the attention, playtime, and affection to every pet we care for. Every pet has their own unique needs and idiosyncrasies, and we take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Through our travels around the country, we’ve had the opportunity to housesit and petsit for many wonderful families and animals of all kinds and all ages (from pups to seniors with various needs). Across multiple platforms, we’ve cared for 60+ pets and earned over 35 five-star reviews from happy owners who trusted us with their homes and beloved companions. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding routines, or special care instructions, we’re happy to accommodate whatever helps your pet feel loved and at ease. Our goal is always to make their time with us feel fun, active, nurturing, and as close to their normal routine as possible. Because we both work primarily from home, we’re able to provide consistent attention and maintain a stable routine — something that can be especially helpful for pets during overnight or extended stays. We also love keeping owners connected while they’re away. You can expect regular photo and text updates, so you always have peace of mind knowing your fur baby (and home) are being well cared for. We feel incredibly lucky to spend time with animals and treat every pet we watch with the same love and care we would give our own! We are currently working remotely with a flexible schedule, so we have plenty of open availabilities for a drop-in visit as well as overnight and extended stays in the clients' home. We are typically available on weekdays and weekends with flexible times. We approach every pet and home with care, respect, and attention to detail. Through house- and pet-sitting experiences, we’ve cared for pets during stays ranging from a few days to over a month, and we understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s normal routine while their family is away. Every animal is different, so we take the time to learn each pet’s personality, behaviors, and comfort level. Our goal is always to meet pets where they are so they can feel safe, relaxed, and build trust with us naturally. We’re experienced in following specific routines and care instructions, whether that includes crate time, structured feeding schedules, managing separation anxiety, or providing extra attention and reassurance for pets who need it. For dogs, we’re comfortable handling a variety of walking styles and equipment, including harnesses, standard leashes, retractable leashes, pinch collars, and e-collars. Safety on walks is very important to us, and we always prioritize controlled, attentive handling. We also have experience with different feeding needs, administering medications, and attending to special care instructions so pets stay healthy and comfortable while you’re away. When staying in a client’s home, we treat it with the same respect we would our own and aim to keep the environment calm, consistent, and secure for your pets. Our goal is for them to feel loved, cared for, and as comfortable as possible in their familiar surroundings. We’re always happy to communicate and provide photo and text updates, so you can relax knowing your pets and home are in caring and capable hands.

About: Hi, there! I'm Tessa 😄 I'm 31 years young. A striking event. A stirring incident. A remarkable occurrence. An adventure is what I'm looking for ❤ I live with my mama and my newborn son and our little fur baby Tommy Lee ❤️ I am a stay at home mama so pet care is easier for me to do as a part time job until I can find an at home job of some sort ☺️ Our back yard is very fenced off so your fur-babies would be super duper safe with us ❤ I an avid animal lover so I would never EVER bring your animal to my home if any danger was present. And offering the boarding option.. we have a “small dog policy” at the apartment complex I live at with my mama also.
About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and pets of all kinds. I rescued my dog, Clayton, 14 years ago, and he recently passed away in February 2026 at the incredible age of 15. Through that journey, I gained firsthand experience caring for a pet through every stage of life, from the energetic younger years to the extra patience and attention senior pets need. I understand the patience, consistency, and love animals deserve, and I’ll care for your pet as if they were part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, administering routines, or simply providing companionship, your pet will be in caring and reliable hands. Living in an apartment has given me a strong understanding of the importance of regular potty breaks, exercise, and maintaining a consistent routine for dogs. Before leaving the house, I always make sure dogs get at least two potty breaks, followed by no fewer than three additional outings once I return home. Pets in my care are treated like family and are welcome to relax comfortably throughout my apartment, including on the couch and bed. I also enjoy taking long walks around my neighborhood and would love to bring your furry friend along for fresh air, exercise, and extra attention throughout the day. During the week, I split my time between two office locations — one in Anaheim near Honda Center and the other in Corona del Mar near Fashion Island. My typical schedule has me away from home from about 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while Fridays are fully remote and offer much more flexibility. If your pet has specific needs, routines, or requires additional attention, please let me know. I’m happy to coordinate flexibility within my work schedule whenever possible to ensure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve.

“Eunice and her husband were absolutely amazing to my girl. This was my first time leaving my pitty to a sitter and I have zero regrets. She took note of all of my reminders for her and provided me updates throughout each day that I was gone. I felt at ease throughout my vacation because of Eunice’s consistent communication. She walked her multiple times throughout the day and let her onto their furniture. A million thank yous to Eunice and her husband.”

“Hanna & David were absolutely the best while babysitting my dog Loki. They sent me multiple pictures and I could tell that Loki was happy. Their dog Evan is also the nicest guy ever, and was super sweet and friendly to Loki. I would absolutely recommend them and I will book again with them in the future.”

“Great experience! The sitter was kind, reliable, and very attentive to my dog’s needs. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her service and will definitely book again!”

“Patricia was fantastic. She was very, very quick to respond and took our pups on long walks, which they love. They were exhausted when they got home because they had so much fun!”

“We are so~ thrilled to have found JK! She lives in a great gated community where she can easily gives walks! Loved all the amazing photos and videos! Thank you for the updates and letting us know how he’s doing! I know Ollie had a great time home away from home! :)”

“She took care of my cat for a week. It looks like he had a good time lol 😆 She was very patient with him. She shared pictures of him, information and status. He seems pretty happy 😺”

“Rebecca did a great job with our dog Cookie. She provided detailed updates about cookie during the whole stay and we knew Cookie was in good hands.. We will definitely go back to Rebecca when Cookie needs boarding again. Thank you Rebecca !!”
“This is the first time we ever used Rover. I researched all the close pet sitters and Jingying and Alex were fantastic! We were out of the country for 2 weeks and received daily (sometimes several a day) pictures and updates for our fur babies. Coco and Chloe were so well taken care of and we did not worry at all. It made our vacation that much better, knowing that our babies were being spoiled and loved while we were gone, We will reserve time them again when we go on vacation. I gave them a 5 star rating only because 100 stars was not available!!! They are the best of the best!”

“Natalia took great care of our puppy for 4 nights. She kept communication constant and updates on what they were up to together. We felt very comfortable with her immediately and it gave us peace of mind during our stay in Anaheim.”

“Grateful they were able to accommodate us last minute! My dog is a gentle giant and they kept him safe for us for the night, I loved getting picture and videos. Thank you!”

“Bells and her doggie Prince deserve 100 stars!!! (if I could give them to her). My dog Marley has been emotionally very difficult to board at other homes. He has not been able to be comfortable at all outside of his home. Bells (and Prince) were warmly welcoming and wholeheartedly loving to our dog. Can’t say enough how grateful I am. 100%”

“Beth and Sean, we want to thank you infinitely for taking care of my "fur-son." You were loving, responsible, and truly dedicated to caring for Vlacho. You followed all the instructions regarding his feeding, walks, and favorite games. We hope to see you in Colombia! Best regards.”

“I was very hesitant on sending my fur baby, Chewie, to a sitter for a couple nights since it was his first time and he’s a senior dog. Molly was with him 24/7 and Chewie adapted much quicker than I thought he would. All thanks to Molly and her experience. She provided lots of love and her home is truly a perfect environment for dogs. Highly recommended to go with Molly if you have any hesitations like I had at first.”

“Allison was wonderful! Franklin absolutely loved his stay with her and enjoyed playing with Moose. We were so happy to have constant updates and Franklin came back tired and happy.”

“Enzo had no problem adjusting because there is so much warmth and love within Claudias home. She sent constant updates and seeing how happy Enzo was kinda made me insecure 😅”

“Wen and her husband did a great job watching our golden retriever Nori while we were out of town. We had issues finding someone who could accommodate boarding our dog last-minute on a holiday, but Wen made the process easy. Nori was having some stomach issues before we left, so she sent us multiple videos during walks since we were concerned. Wen even went above and beyond and washed her favorite stuffy and bandana. Would recommend and definitely book again!”

“Tina is absolutely wonderful! I am so lucky to have found her. She did an excellent job caring for our dog Penny. Tina was so caring and made sure Penny felt safe and welcome. Penny is a picky eater and is anxious and Tina took extra care to make sure Penny was eating, drinking water, and feeling comfortable. She also sent updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day and was always very responsive. I highly recommend Tina and will definitely be asking to have Penny stay with her again in the future! We are so grateful. Thank you Tina!”

“David and his family once again took wonderful care of my pup for an extended stay. They showered her with love and even celebrated her birthday when I wasn’t home to do so. Thank you so much for everything!”
