About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs starting at age 8 and later cared for eight cats along with two dogs of my own for over five years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also spent years pet sitting for families and neighbors, so I understand how important it is to be reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I was also working towards vet school, working at vet clinics for 3 years until I decided a career change, so I have lots of emergency pet care experience and have handled many different personalities! I’m patient with both high energy pets and more independent or shy ones, and I’m confident handling multiple pets at once. I recently graduated from UCSB and moved back home, where I live with my own one-year-old Goldendoodle Willow (who I’ve raised since she was 8 weeks old) and my mom’s two dogs—a sweet Goldendoodle and a Husky. I think it’s best to keep them separate to avoid any issues. I put my cats in my primary bedroom upstairs along with all their stuff and they are perfectly fine! But if your dog is cat friendly, I don’t mind letting them interact a bit. My senior cat is just a little freaked out by high energy dogs but she calms down after a bit. My younger cat is probably more open to dogs, she’s very friendly and mellow. Either way, I’m happy to accommodate! I drop my 3 kids off at school Monday-Friday and I am done with that around 8:30am. I pick up my youngest at 1:40 and my middle child at 3pm. So I will have about 4 hours each day until pick up my youngest. I am also available most weekends. Just message me and will do my best to accommodate your schedule. We live in a 4 bedroom condo and I have a fenced in patio and plenty of walking space throughout my neighborhood. I have helped my extended family with watching their elderly dog, who has had a lot of problems with most people but she really likes me. I make sure to approach all pets with kindness and acceptance. Regardless of the challenge, I want to help out pets and seeing dig smiles fills me with joy! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. Whenever I am needs, I will do my best to accommodate their wishes. As long as you give me some ample time, I will make my schedule work for you! I live with my dog in my apartment but my husband and I always make sure to take her out for walks, play with her, and take her to the dog park to help keep her fit. For my extended family’s elderly dog, I make sure to watch her closely, give her easy to eat snacks, and take her into the backyard to get some exercise. I never rush her and make sure to wait for however long she need.
