I've had cats most of my life. Starting when I was maybe 5 years old. I've come to understand and appreciate them more and more over the years. I had a kitty who recently passed at the age of 12 years old and needed daily medication. I also had a feral cat I took care of for 12 years living in my back yard. I am comfortable administering medications including insulin injections. I am happy to clean out litter boxes to prevent them from piling up and to keep both kitty and human happy. I am more than happy to board your little kitty in my home. If you have a pair of kitties in your homes that need boarding, that works fine as well. However, I do not board multiple cats who do not know each other, primarily to keep the stress levels at a minimum.

I can't say enough about Lisa's care of our little prince. This was our first time doing this and we had not been apart from Blacky (our Cat) since he picked us just a little over a year ago. We were apprehensive at first, but Lisa assured us he would be fine with her. After our meet & greet with Lisa, we felt that she was a good fit. During our trip abroad, Lisa would send us notes, pics and videos of Blacky during his stay. Lisa is a kind, thoughtful and gentle person. I would highly recommend her for your boarding needs. Lisa has been amazing helping Ti learn to be comfortable boarding outside the home. Very patient, calm and understanding of cats and their needs. Ti has definitely come to like and trust Lisa in only 3 visits which is a huge step forward. Thanks Lisa!!

My longtime cat, George, has just recently passed. I adopted George when his mama brought her kittens to my backyard. I successfully had the mom spayed and brought the kittens in to be adopted. I kept George and he was a very happy and spoiled indoor kitty for twelve years. His momma lived in my backyard and I continued to care for her from a distance by providing water and food every day.

A typical day
Cats are independent, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love attention and play! I enjoy engaging with cats through string, feathers, mice toys or anything that they enjoy. I also understand their cues when it's time to leave them be and let them dictate when to give pets.

- I welcome all cats. If they want to play, wonderful! If they want to be left alone, I’m happy to take care of their needs and chat to them from a distance they are comfortable with.
