Availability
I specialize in overnight pet sitting but am able to accommodate a variety of requests. I proudly service the entire Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, but my daycare, drop-in, and dog-walking rates are most affordable for clients who live within a 10-mile radius of Yorba Linda. I typically respond to messages within three business days.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will receive high-quality care in the comfort and familiarity of your home, which helps to prevent/reduce separation anxiety and gives you peace of mind about the safety and suitability of their environment. In addition to passing Rover's third-party enhanced criminal background check, I have Pet Care Insurance™ through Veracity Insurance Solutions (VIS), a partner of Lloyd's of London that also backs the Rover Guarantee.
Information Kirsten O. would like to know about your pet
Meet & Greets (M&Gs) give us the opportunity to meet and go over your pet's care routine in person, which ensures that your pet remembers me when I arrive for the service. M&Gs cover important topics such as parking/street sweeping, security systems, air conditioning/heating, housekeeping, yard maintenance, and emergency contacts. Many pet parents also create a profile for their pet on Rover and/or leave additional notes for me in their home. These don't replace the topics that we cover in the M&G, but they're a great way to update me on any important changes that occur between services.
A typical day
Depending on the service, a typical day may include feeding/watering, medications/supplements, one 60-minute or two 30-minute walks, unlimited potty breaks, plants, mail, trash, light cleaning, and TLC.

Professional Pet Care
Pet care experience
My love of animals began at home with my family pets. Over the years, these included dogs, cats, ducks, goldfish, horses, and a mule named Fred. I started pet sitting in 2010 and worked with a high-end pet sitting company based in Los Angeles from 2019–2025. I also have experience with goats after volunteering on a property in Northern California. My other specialities include puppy care, senior pet care, administering medications (including insulin shots for a diabetic cat), and a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid from the American Red Cross (2023). As of June 2026, I'm working to become a certified dog trainer via Rover's collaboration with GoodPup. I look forward to caring for your fur babies!

Reviews

Kirsten again was amazing!! She always spoils our sweet boy Bentley! She is a great communicator, on time and leaves our house as we left it. So glad we found her!

Kirsten was a wonderful pet sitter! We got a new puppy right before our camping trip and had to find someone last min to stay with her. Puppies are a lot of work, especially while potty training, and Kirsten was so attentive, gave lots of update, and lots of love - to both the puppy and our three cats. I couldn't have asked for more!

I can’t say enough about Kirsten!! BEST dog sitter I have ever had! We had her stay with our very high anxiety dog for 9 days in our home. We recently had to put down our other two dogs and Bentley has been so depressed and we were so worried about boarding him or just having drop ins because he would be by himself. I requested someone that could stay with him the entire time and Kirsten did just that! She came and met him two weeks before and he takes some time to get to know someone, but by the second day he just loved her. She kept him in his routine even letting him sleep with her like he does us. Walked him daily, let him play in the hose daily (one of his favorite things) Sat with him out in yard, played catch with him another favorite thing and checked in everyday with pictures and videos. She went over and beyond…took our trash cans in and out on trash day, took in our mail and packages, emptied our dishwasher, hosed yard everyday, stripped and washed her bedding and washed dog blankets on couch, cleaned bathroom and kitchen. My house was just as I left it. We were also welcomed home with a sweet note and gift for Bentley! She is the BEST and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing he was so well taken care of like family ❤️ Our last dog sitter was terrible and i was a wreck the entire time, not this time! She will be the only one I will use from now on!! Highly recommend if you are looking for someone to take care of your pets the same as you would!! Thank you again Kirsten!!!

Love having Kirsten watch my boys! She’s so attentive and my boys adore her. She always leaves my house clean and goes above and beyond to ensure I have to do as little as possible when returning from a trip.
