“Risa is consistently punctual and reliable in caring for my cat. So glad she was available. My last vacation schedule coincided with hers, so I tried another sitter. Let's just say that not all highly reviewed sitters are the same.”

“Jessica was very professional, highly communicative, and super friendly. We appreciated her checking in on our Goosey girl (kitty) and felt like she was in safe hands while we were away. Goose easily took to Jessica’s positive energy. We also loved how she took the time to meet Goose in advance to learn about her needs.”

About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was in my 20s when I adopted my first cat (Irie) and then shortly after a dog (Chula) too. They were my first fur baby loves on this earth. I could sit and watch them play for hours because they became besties for life. They will be deeply missed but will always be my first fur baby loves. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I am available all week days and weekends! I live in a home with a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to get energy out! My doggos staya indoors (we have central A/C) unless we are home then they will come outside and enjoy the backyard with us. We live in a calm neighborhood with 3 parks around us that the doggos love walking too and running off leash. I can also accomidate doggos who are crate training.
“Kat has been pet sitting for me for years now. She’s always so kind and attentive to my little boy Jack. She sends loads of pictures and updates every visit. Can’t recommend her enough! :)”

About: Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals of many personalities and ages. I recently relocated to California and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, puppy care, and providing extra patience for senior dogs or pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. I have a 2 year old fur baby of my own, Arlo; who's taught me how important routine, exercise, and affection are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. I’m always able to adjust to your pet's needs and personality. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with animals and being active outdoors. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day. I am sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. I follow instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give Arlo ❤️. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s environment and the home itself. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their surroundings clean and calm. I pay close attention to their behavior and energy levels to make sure they are happy and stress-free while you're away. Communication is also important to me, I like to provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that their pets are doing well.
“She was great with our cats and took the extra time to care for them. She followed all instructions for cat care and helped keep our cat’s food area clean (no easy feat since we have some messy eaters here haha). She was very attentive to detail with our pets. We were always kept up to date with how our cats were doing and felt comfortable working with her. Definitely would recommend this cat/dog sitter for your loved ones since she did a great job!! Thanks so much!”

About: I've been the designated cat sitter for my best friend's two cats their entire lives. It's been so fun to watch her cats grow and be able to bond with them, so I know how important it is to pet owners to have someone that they can rely on taking care of their pets. I am currently a student at UCI and volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific where I help care for marine animals. I'm currently looking for part time employment, so given my love for animals, I figured that this would be the place for me! I'm a full time student at UCI, so I'm available on weekends and evenings. I am currently unemployment, so outside of school, I have free time to care for your fur babies! In a client's home, I respect the space, ensuring that everything remains cleaned and safe for your pets. I can send plenty of updates and pictures so that you can feel at ease.
About: Hi! I’m Dez (they/them), a Long Beach / Los Alamitos–based professional pet sitter with a 5.0 rating and 29 completed services on Wag, including multiple “Goes Above & Beyond” and “Extra Caring” recognitions. I specialize in house sitting and boarding, providing calm, attentive, and consistent care so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home — I treat every space respectfully and communicate clearly with regular updates and photos. I have experience with: • High-energy and working breeds • Senior dogs • Special needs care • Confident leash handling (including strong pullers) • Puppies and structured routines Because I work creatively and maintain a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide steady supervision and companionship — especially helpful for pets who need extra attention. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed, and you feel completely at ease while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize consistency, supervision, and quality time with the pets in my care. For house sitting and boarding, I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I am typically able to provide multiple walks per day for dogs, structured activity for high-energy pets, and steady companionship throughout the day. For pets with specific routines or needs, I am happy to follow detailed instructions to ensure continuity and comfort. :) Safety and trust are my top priorities! In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and household guidelines. I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure doors, gates, and crates are secured properly at all times. For boarding in my home, I maintain a clean, calm, and structured environment. Pets are supervised, walked on secure leashes, and given appropriate physical and mental stimulation based on their energy level. I avoid off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. I provide regular updates and photos so you always feel informed and confident while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets can relax and feel cared for. :)

“We love Candy! Candy did great taking care of my kitten and my medically complicated rat. She was able to perform more complicated medical tasks for the rat without difficulty. My pets loved her and she went above and beyond, even stopping to check on my roof to make sure it wasn’t leaking during the rainstorm.”

About: I was recently accepted to Cornell University for veterinary school and have some time to spare for your fur babies before I leave in August! I worked one year for a nonprofit veterinary service called CAMP clinics and another year at an emergency and specialty medicine pet hospital. At home I own a sweet Labrador retriever named Luna and a sassy hamster named Davinci. I am comfortable with giving oral medications if your pet is able to take them in a treat without being restrained. ✨ New to Rover? Use code NATALV52479 for $20 off your first booking ✨ I am free until August, but will be going to Asia from April 14th-June 10th (with some weeks in May that I will be back) as a final trip before starting vet school. Besides those dates I am fully available to help care for your pet whenever convenient for you. I love taking my dog for a walk in the park or playing tug of war/fetch in the evenings. I have a very active dog and would love to play with yours! I understand that dogs may have certain anxieties regarding their surroundings or other people/animals and take great care to make sure they are comfortable and properly cared for.

About: I have been my families go to pet care person my whole life, taking care of cats and dogs. I started pet sitting for my parents when they would go out of town and would take care of our 2 dogs. I would also pet sit for my sister, taking care of her dog and house while she was away with her family on vacation. My uncle and cousins also started calling me to come pet / house sit for them, going as far as San Diego and Phoenix. I am very comfortable traveling and I have a strong passion for caring for animals. I've had many pets in my life and many of them have had health issues during their lives. I am prepared to care for animals that might need extra help like; taking medicine, have special routines, needing specific walking regiments, etc. Please consider hiring me for your next pet sitting occasion! I am currently not working another position and I have open availability to meet your needs. Whether it's a short visit or a long term stay, I'm here to meet and exceed the expectations you have! We take care of our pets best by keeping our yard fenced in and only giving them access to safe areas of the yard. We have our dogs crate trained well for bed time and when a guest comes over. I am happy and willing to care for your animal the best way you see fit. If I were to trust someone with my pet, I would want them to do as I asked them.

About: I have always been a pet lover and I have been taking care of cats and dog (and the occasional fish, rabbit and other rodents) for over 30years! I work for myself with a small clothing business and I also care for my school age child and occasionally volunteer at the school. This makes my schedule fairly flexible In my own home, all 3 of my cats are up to date on all shots and flea treatments. They are all chipped and neutered. I also Trap-Neuter-Release feral cats in my neighborhood
“This is the second time I used Jazmyn and I was very pleased. I had an issue with my auto feeder and I was so grateful knowing that Jazmyn was coming and I didn’t have to worry. I also added 2 more cats at the last minute and she was very flexible with taking on the extra work.”

“Kelsy is absolutely wonderful - she has such a positive energy and our cats took to her right away. She is communicative, dependable, patient, responsive, personable, and most importantly she loves animals and they love her back! I will definitely schedule her services again.”

About: Pets are family and I believe providing them with the same love and care I would offer my own furry companion! Family, friends, and neighbors have entrusted me to feed, entertain, administer medication and walk their pets for over 10 years. I have successfully handled various pet behavior challenges, adapting my approach to ensure their comfort and safety. I am currently in school part time for part of the summer. I am available M-F 12:30pm - 10:00pm. Saturday and Sunday I am available from 9am-10pm. We go out on walks or outside for exercise/bathroom breaks. I make sure they are eating and drinking appropriate amounts of food or water. I check to see if their eating/play area is clean and free of obstacles. But most importantly, I check to see if they are comfortable in their environment while in my care.
“She is absolutely the best choice you can go with for your pets. She handled my two cats very well and was very attentive, updates often, and is very cheap for her services. Highly recommend her for her high quality care and very cost effective rates. Do not bother with the people charging double the price than Sue. She does it all very well for so much less.”

Whitney is the best! So sweet with the animals, and very communicative and sweet with us, too😄 We used her for drop-in kitty visits this time (we use dog walking as well), and will definitely use her again. Whitney makes traveling and being away from the animals very easy.
