About: I have always been a pet lover and I have been taking care of cats and dog (and the occasional fish, rabbit and other rodents) for over 30years! I work for myself with a small clothing business and I also care for my school age child and occasionally volunteer at the school. This makes my schedule fairly flexible In my own home, all 3 of my cats are up to date on all shots and flea treatments. They are all chipped and neutered. I also Trap-Neuter-Release feral cats in my neighborhood
“Asmita went above and beyond in taking care of my two cats while I was away on vacation. She met my cats beforehand, took notes, and showed how thoughtful and prepared she was from the start. She is very kind, pleasant, responsive, and communicative. I have one cat that is usually very shy, so I was genuinely surprised at how quickly he warmed up to her during her visits. Throughout my trip, she sent plenty of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were doing well. She also spent quality time with them during each visit, not just quick check-ins. I truly appreciated that she made sure my home stayed tidy by sweeping up litter droppings and bringing in packages that were left outside. I highly recommend Asmita without hesitation and will definitely be booking with her again for future trips.”

“Jessica was so flexible with our schedule and was so helpful. She sent so many pictures of our kitty’s and gave us peace of mind while we were gone! Thank you Jessica😁”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since birth, and have always had a few dogs my whole life. We fell in love with English Bulldogs and I specialize in bulldog care. But I absolutely love all dogs! I can administer medication, give baths, and troubleshoot any issues that might occur. What to expect: I will treat your fur baby exactly as you would, I will follow directions exactly as you give them. They’ll be treated with love and care. If you book for drop in care, I’ll be sure to give them lots of attention before I leave and make sure all their needs are taken care of before I leave. If you’re booking for daily walks, I will take them around the neighborhood or a nearby park to get lots of exercise and get some energy out. If you’re booking for boarding. We have a large fenced in yard and air conditioned garage with crates. Your pet will receive lots of love in our home! I’ve always been a stay at home mom. I have 3 children who are also animal lovers. I have plenty of time in my day for any schedule that fits your pets needs best. We have a very large fenced in yard, and 4 bulldogs of our own that are all rotated throughout the day from inside to outside. They get daily walks, and there’s plenty of humans to give them lots of love during their stay with us! If I’m doing a daily check in or daily walk, you can trust they’ll be safe in my care. I’m very patient and will go at your animals pace.
About: Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals of many personalities and ages. I recently relocated to California and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, puppy care, and providing extra patience for senior dogs or pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. I have a 2 year old fur baby of my own, Arlo; who's taught me how important routine, exercise, and affection are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. I’m always able to adjust to your pet's needs and personality. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with animals and being active outdoors. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day. I am sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. I follow instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give Arlo ❤️. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s environment and the home itself. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their surroundings clean and calm. I pay close attention to their behavior and energy levels to make sure they are happy and stress-free while you're away. Communication is also important to me, I like to provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your fur babies are doing well.
“Jazmyn is great. I can definitely count on her (even in the last minute). She is very communicative, and will let me know if she has any issues, questions, or concerns on anything.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of pet and house-sitting needs. I’m open to different schedules, including extended stays, overnight sitting, and last-minute bookings when available. My goal is to make things as convenient as possible for both you and your pets. I take safety, trust, and respect very seriously. I understand that when I’m caring for someone’s pet, I’m also being trusted with their home and personal belongings. I treat every household with the same care and respect I would expect for my own, making sure pets are safe and comfortable while keeping the home clean, secure, and well cared for. I’m mindful of boundaries, follow the owner’s instructions, and always leave the home and belongings exactly as I found them.
About: As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard to find a sitter that you can trust to take care of them. I have 3 dogs at home; a small Shi-tzu, a young husky/german sheppard, and a old retriever mix. I also have 2 young cats and I take care of a neighborhood stray. I have always had a soft spot for animals. My mom and I have fostered stray cats, dogs, and watched pets while family friends were on vacation. I may not have much formal training, but if hired I will carefully watch, play, walk, and hangout with your pets, as well as, keep you updated in the process. Every morning I take my 2 dogs out to go, then I fill up their water bowl and let them back in. I give them their breakfast around 10 and then take them on a walk around the park near our neighborhood. We play throughout the day and they keep each other company while I do chores and homework. I feed them around 4:30 or 5 each night and they get a glucosamine biscuit before we go to bed. Sometimes we go on a second walk before bed as well. I have a fenced yard and two friendly fur babies to keep them company! My cats are friendly but if your babies dont like cats, mine will stay in my room. We have some house gates we used to use when our doggies were puppy training, and a very roomy crate for the young husky, so blocking our animals from yours is always an option if necessary. I only ask that you supply their food for their stay if they are on any special food diet.

About: Hello! I'm an active and energetic person with a deep love and appreciation for our canine companions. Dogs and humans have a deep connection that is rare in other animals and I immensely enjoy being around dogs and being sensitive to their needs and wants. I'm fairly athletic and fit and won't have any issues keeping up with active dogs. On the flip side, I can also be mellow and calm for older and more reserved pups. I am always attentive to an animal’s state of being. I intuitively assess if they need attention or movement or space or food. I watch how they act and make sure to move with their safety and comfort level.

Asmita was fantastic. Timely, communicative, and very flexible when some of my house and pet needs changed while I was gone. She sent videos and photos daily and provided photos to show tasks had been completed in real time. Would absolutely love to have Asmita again for future bookings! 10/10

Thank you so much for taking care of Lola again for me! I loved all the photos and updates and it’s clear she loves spending time with you - it’s almost like a little vacation for her when I’m away! Appreciate you as always! Thanks for being the best and leaving me assured that Lola is in the best care :)

Lissi was great with Uno. She definitely went above and beyond with taking care of Uno. She was very communicative and responded very quickly when we set up the appointments. She took her time to let Uno feel comfortable and sent the best videos and pictures! We were also very happy that she was able to administer a daily pill. We would be happy to book Lissi again.

We had an excellent experience with Hannah! She took wonderful care of my cats while I was gone, making sure they were well fed and comfortable. It was clear she genuinely cared and treated them like her own. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Livio and Chen took great care of our cat Micky this past week! They were super communicative and kept us updated throughout with lots of pix and videos of Micky. They also brought to our attention a potential concern to follow up on which we really appreciate!

We love Candy! Candy did great taking care of my kitten and my medically complicated rat. She was able to perform more complicated medical tasks for the rat without difficulty. My pets loved her and she went above and beyond, even stopping to check on my roof to make sure it wasn’t leaking during the rainstorm.

Whitney is the best! So sweet with the animals, and very communicative and sweet with us, too😄 We used her for drop-in kitty visits this time (we use dog walking as well), and will definitely use her again. Whitney makes traveling and being away from the animals very easy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cypress. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
