About: Hi! My name is Alexa, I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals of many personalities and ages. I recently relocated to California and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight care, puppy care, and providing extra patience for senior dogs or pets who may feel anxious when their owners are away. I have a 2 year old fur baby of my own, Arlo; who's taught me how important routine, exercise, and affection are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. I’m always able to adjust to your pet's needs and personality. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with animals and being active outdoors. I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need throughout the day. I am sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. I follow instructions closely when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I would give Arlo ❤️. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the pet’s environment and the home itself. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their surroundings clean and calm. I pay close attention to their behavior and energy levels to make sure they are happy and stress-free while you're away. Communication is also important to me, I like to provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your fur babies are doing well.

“I must say I am a worrier when it comes to my two cats. Having worked from home for the past 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic and zero trips, my purrbabies almost felt like appendages. They were never without me for more than short periods of time. That increased my apprehension about taking a vacation and their confusion about my absence. But I planned a trip and checked out Rover seeking my perfect pet sitter. I got lucky. Something about Jennifer’s photo, her genuine smile and her bio got me. When we met right before my trip, my very shy boy actually walked up to her and he doesn’t do that with people he knows. The entire week I was gone, Jennifer sent me daily photos and updates about wet food, dry, treats, water dishes, litter box cleanings,little snippets about each cat i,e., everything I would be doing if I was home. If you are apprehensive about leaving your beloved pet(s), you need not worry with Jennifer. In fact, I will be traveling later this year and already booked her again to take care of my cats. One less thing to worry about with Jennifer on board.”

About: My family had a dog that we got when I was 7 that just recently passed. Plus, most members of my family have dogs, so I’ve become very good at handling them, their behavior, and needs. I’ve been asked to dog sit for friends and family alike and have had only good experiences, and I’d love to get to spend time with pups and help people out whilst they go away by giving them someone to trust with their dog! And breeds don’t scare me, I love pit bulls and others of the like! They’ve also been part of my life and something I’ve learned to cherish and respect! This would be a part-time job for the summer, so I’d have plenty of time to be with your animal! I’m available weekdays Mon-Friday! There may be a week here and there that I’m out of town, but I’d love to make pets my priority this summer! I’m obviously super respectful of people’s space and whatnot, I’d never touch or wander in your home. I won’t be able to pet sit in my home because I have 2 cats of my own and they wouldn’t do well with other animals, but as for other people’s homes I will do anything you need me too. I’m sure instructions will be necessary to care for each individual animal, and I’m a wonderful direction follower and try to go above and beyond to make sure your home and yards stays neat while I care for your pet.

Which is why I prioritize communication, safety, and making sure your dog feels comfy and happy. I stick to routines, give lots of love (if pup allows) and make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need. I treat every dog how I’d want my dog treated. You’ll get photo updates, clear communication, and peace of mind knowing your dog is with someone who genuinely gets it. About: Hi I’m Serena! I’m currently in my master’s program at CSULB! I work hard and give so much love to every single one of my client’s fur babies depending on all their needs. I've grown up with 5+ dogs in my lifetime and taken care of dogs and cats of every kind and size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their pets while they were on vacation to walk, feed, and administering their medication (both orally and injections) to their pets. I've taken animal CPR and have lots of experience with senior care with three senior dogs. I’m current attending college at CSULB but I am available in the mornings and evenings for drop in visits. For overnight or extended stays I am available Sunday-Saturday. I will care for them in your home and follow the instructions given to feed and drop in visits. If they are allowed outside, I will go outside with them and keep an eye on them both day and night. I will never let them outside on their own due to safety reasons. If discussed and allowed to housesit, I will keep your pets company for hours doing my quiet hobbies (Reading, drawing, etc.) since my pets tend to dislike being alone in the house for long periods of time.
