In addition to pet sitting, I have a 9AM-5PM hybrid model job. When I am in the office, I am in downtown LA. However, 95% of the time, I work remotely from my home in Long Beach. There is some flexibility to my schedule.

I spend my time paying attention to your pets: talking, playing, etc (unless your pet is happiest being ignored). I often listen to music or podcasts while visiting, and am mindful of not drawing attention to your unoccupied home.

I would like to know temperament, any past issues with separation anxiety, and vet contact information. I am open to all dogs but am particularly fond of terriers and medium/small dogs.
A typical day
Some fun activities I like to do with dogs include walks, playing catch, cuddling/hanging out watching TV, training basic commands, and visiting beaches and parks. With cats, I'll often play, pet, or brush them. I like to get on the floor or on whatever furniture allows me to spend the most time engaging with cats.

I am a lifelong animal lover, and have 10+ years of experience cat sitting and 4+ years of experience dog sitting. While cats are primarily where my experiences lies, I also love hanging out with and taking care of dogs, reptiles, fish, and any other pets. Here are some special cases I have dealt with in cats: pregnancy, mama cats and litters, cleaning (ask me about the olive oil incident), ear mites, and weight-loss diets. Indoor cats, outdoor cats, and mixed indoor/outdoor cats are all unique situations that I have experience catering to. I have administered medication orally, in food, in eyes, and in ears. I have administered a variety of flea medications too. I know the symptoms to look for in a sick kitty well. I am currently unable to board animals in my home, but I have boarded dogs in the past. I am in good physical shape, and can keep up with energetic dogs and keep the homes of higher maintenance/messy pups looking and smelling good. I am happy to walk long distances, drive to beaches and parks, and otherwise provide plenty of physical exercise. I have also had pet fish and reptiles in the past and can clean aquariums/terrariums, provide carnivorous reptiles live or fresh feed, herbivores fresh produce, bathe reptiles, and notice/treat common issues such as mites. Consider me a house sitter as well! Over the years, I have taken on additional responsibilities such as collecting mail, dusting/sweeping/cleaning, watering plants and yards, moving vehicles, and airing out closed-off spaces. Your wish is my command. A few final notes: I am English/Spanish bilingual and I have a car. I can send status texts, emails, calls, pictures, videos- whatever you want, at the frequency you want. I got into pet sitting because I love animals, I love travel, and I want to help people achieve that elusive pet-parent/avid traveler balance. Questions? Don't hesitate to ask! See you soon!
