What sets me apart is the hands-on experience and dedication I’ve developed as a first-time dog owner. I successfully crate-trained my Westie from the ground up and have walked her every single day for the past 5 years without fail. I’ve also taught her 10 different tricks through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I’m comfortable following a dog’s individual routine and needs, including preparing and cooking specific meals based on my dog’s diet. I understand that every dog has their own personality, schedule, and comfort level, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. I may be a first-time owner, but I’ve spent 5 years learning, training, and building a strong bond with my dog—and I’d bring that same patience, reliability, and attention to detail to caring for your dog.

Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, active, and on their normal routine. I have a fenced-in backyard, crate, playpens, multiple leashes, treats, a whistle, paw cleaners, and dog wipes, so I’m prepared for walks, playtime, cleanup, and everyday care. I also have a very friendly dog who loves to play and make new friends. If your pet is comfortable around other dogs, they can have a fun playmate and some extra companionship. I always make sure introductions are done safely and at the pet’s own pace. I’m happy to follow each pet’s specific routine, including their feeding schedule, walks, playtime, and any house rules their owner provides. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the family while giving their owners peace of mind.

Matt is one of the most responsible, caring, and trustworthy animal lovers I know. I have seen firsthand how wonderfully they interact with pets, always making sure animals feel safe, loved and most importantly, comfortable. He loves all animals and I can tell he’s got so much love for pets. Whenever he has cared for pets in the past, he has been exceptionally attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and special needs. I know that Matt is an amazing dog dad himself and he puts in 110% effort to his Westie girl. He’s cared for my sister’s 2 cats in the past when she was out of town and always made sure to check in on them and cater to their specific needs. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Matt look after their furry family members, I highly recommend him with your fur baby!
It's always nerve-wracking leaving your precious pups for an extended amount of time, but Matt is incredible with dogs and treated our pup like it was his own. He went above and beyond, is kind, compassionate, and gave our dog the best care while we were gone on vacation. I would recommend him time and time again to anyone!

Schedule
I work full-time as a bartender, but my shifts vary, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care during both the day and evening depending on my work schedule. I’m used to making sure my dog’s needs come first and adjusting her routine around my work schedule. For example, if I work a morning shift, I make sure she gets let outside, has a quick walk, and gets her first meal before I leave. When I get home, I give her a longer walk, plenty of attention. If I work a night shift, I’ll spend more time with her beforehand by taking her on a longer walk, playing with her, and giving her a small meal before I leave. I can work my schedule around your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the exercise, companionship, and care they need. I’m comfortable with flexible or recurring schedules and will do my best to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent while you’re away.
