“Krystal is amazing!! She is so sweet and gentle with dogs, I can tell she is an animal lover. She was also willing to stop by twice in one day to check on my dog and provided pictures/updates every time😊 I always feel comfortable knowing Dobby is in good hands with Krystal!”

About: Since the day I started talking, all I did was ask my parents for a dog. When I turned 9, that dream came true. Buddy was not just a dog, he was an essential part of our family. For fifteen wonderful years we created special memories, inside jokes, nicknames, and an unconditional love from not only us to him but from him to us. In his final years Buddy developed dementia, senior care was never something I had ever put much thought in to. As unfortunate as it is our babies won’t outlive us, giving them the absolute best and most comfortable lives we possibly can is so important. Being a child myself when Buddy came in to our lives, I have true experience with seeing a dog from their first and best days, all the way to the end. These fur babies are just that, our babies, and trusting a stranger with your baby is no small thing! The importance of being not only safe, but loving and kind is something I can always guarantee. The hole that has been left since Buddy left us feels just that much smaller when I get to be around another furry friend 🤍 I work a pretty flexible schedule, I waitress in Newport Beach and am in training to be a Pilates instructor as well. While my schedule does tend to vary, I’m usually in the restaurant Sunday-Wednesday nights with Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays completely off! I live in an apartment, however it is walking distance from the beach and other walking trails. I was raised to leave a place nicer than when you arrived, and between that and my clean freak gene your space will be in good hands! The more instruction for your dog’s routine and information on what will make them happy the better.
About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood — dogs, bunnies, horses, and even llamas. I’ve had everything from boxers to Frenchies and chihuahuas, so I’m great with all personalities, from shy pups to big goofy puppies. I genuinely treat every pet like family and focus on creating a loving, safe space while you’re away. I work remotely on an East Coast schedule, so I’m typically finished by early afternoon. This gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. Evenings and weekends are flexible, and I’m able to spend quality time with your dog. I care for pets in your home by following your routine — feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I keep your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for while also keeping your home clean and safe. I send regular photos and updates so you feel confident they’re doing great.
“I could not give higher praise to Krista and Kelsey. They are thoughtful, thorough, kind, caring, gentle, patient, reliable, communicative, and trustworthy -- everything you could want in a pet sitter and more. Each visit was so much more than just a check in; they truly go above and beyond. I have two very different cats: one is a calm adult and the other is an energetic kitten. Krista and Kelsey quickly picked up on their quirks, personalities, the way they interact with each other, and even their different play styles/preferences. They understood what each of my cats needed to feel happy and loved, and they provided exactly that. Their daily updates and adorable photos were such a joy to receive -- I genuinely looked forward to them every day. I wholeheartedly recommend Krista and Kelsey. I feel so lucky to have found them and will absolutely book with them again!”

“Sydnie is just wonderful! We hired her for drop-in’s to help give subcutaneous fluid injections to our senior pup with CKD while we go on vacation. She is so kind and gentle with Scout, I feel completely comfortable leaving him in her hands! I fully recommend Sydnie ☺️”

About: I’ve been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. I started volunteering at a local animal shelter in high school back in New Jersey, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. After moving to NYC, I worked with Social Tees Animal Rescue to foster multiple dogs in my apartment — each with their own personality, needs, and quirks. I loved the challenge and joy of helping them feel safe, loved, and ready for their forever homes. Now that I’m new to Orange County, I’m eager to get involved in the local animal rescue community and am actively researching nearby shelters. In the meantime, I’m hoping to fill the dog-shaped hole in my heart by caring for pups through Rover. I grew up with yellow labs and recently said goodbye to my family dogs, Bo and Luke, in New Jersey — so I know just how special that bond is and how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I work fully from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. I’m also very active — I’m a runner and yoga teacher — and I take multiple walks along the beach daily, so adding a dog to that routine would be a joy. Regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and quality time are never an issue with my schedule. Whether your pup needs lots of outdoor time or just some extra cuddles and attention during the day, I can easily adjust to their needs. I genuinely enjoy having a dog around and look forward to building a connection with each one I care for. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for a dog in my home or theirs, I make sure the space is completely dog-proofed — no food or harmful items within reach, trash secured, and any off-limits areas blocked off. I always do a quick sweep of the environment to remove potential hazards before the pet arrives or I begin my stay. I also take time to understand each pet’s specific needs and routines — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes or quirks around other dogs. I never leave pets unsupervised in unfamiliar environments, and I’m mindful of keeping doors securely shut, leashes clipped properly, and making sure they're never out of sight on walks. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and cozy environment where pets feel at ease and pet parents feel confident their animals are in caring, capable hands.
About: I treat every pet like family and care for them as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for animals and 10 years of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, I have developed a deep understanding of dogs and their unique needs. As a devoted pet parent myself, I know how important peace of mind is when you are away. I go above and beyond to create a calm, happy environment where pets feel safe, loved, and truly cared for. I also enjoy keeping dogs active with engaging walks tailored to their energy level and personality. I work part-time so I have plenty of time to be with your furry friend! My availability is Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm Saturday: 3pm - 5pm When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I prioritize keeping their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and secure. During walks and outdoor time, I carefully check the surrounding area to ensure gates are closed and the space is secure, so your pet stays safe at all times. My goal is to create a stress-free, loving experience while you are away.
About: I’ve had family dogs since I was a young kid, and now I’ve had a dog of my own for the past 2 years I’ve done extensive research on pet care, using only positive reinforcement with my dog. I am very detail-oriented and do not mess around when it comes to pets! I look at my dog as if he’s my literal son. Thank you for reading - I’d love to take care of your dog(s)! Because I’m a nurse, I have a VERY flexible schedule! I’m off 4 days per week, every week, with not much to do :) My schedule also changes every week, so I can’t commit to weekly walks on the same days, since my days off change, but my days off can be any day of the week so I have a lot of options for when I can help you out! I’m big on positive reinforcement, lots of cuddles, and keeping clean. I’m ready to follow any instructions you may have regarding your dog’s care, like putting them back in the crate before I leave, feeding them exactly how you’d like, and making sure to leave your home exactly as clean as when I got there!
“Roxanne was wonderful handling the care of our senior golden retriever on very short notice! She is very professional, communicative and friendly. We have already hired her again to watch him for a week!”

About: I bring hands-on experience caring for puppies, dogs, and cats, supporting routines, enrichment, gentle handling, and attentive care that creates calm pets and peace of mind. I work is flexible and have time to play with your pups and go on long walks. I can adjust my wake up time to cater to their routines. I have a safe space for your fur-baby roam. I will only take one rover pet at a time and have none of my own.
“Vi has been great for our young puppy! She keeps you well in the loop on how your pet is doing during in house visits, and is very reliable, responsive, and flexible to all our young pups needs. Highly recommend!”

“Jay took good care of my cats while I was away. He asked good questions during the meet and greet and followed all my care instructions. He even found a creative way to get my shy kitty to eat her Petromalt gel! Jay responded quickly to my questions before and after the booking, and provided cute photos and videos of my cats during each visit. All was well upon my return home! Thanks Jay!!!”

About: What sets me apart is the amount of time and attention I’m able to give. I work freelance with a flexible work schedule, so dogs are rarely left alone and become part of our daily routine. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs, and I’m happy to reinforce basic training and routines. I’m also comfortable administering medications and providing extra care for dogs that need it. Our home is calm, dog-friendly, and shared with our 4-year-old mini Australian Shepherd who is friendly, well-socialized, and loves other dogs. We love going on walks during the day whether it is by the beach or the bay. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and low-stress environment so both pets and owners feel at ease. You can rest assured that your pup will be loved and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home. I structure my day around walks, feeding, playtime, and rest, so dogs get consistent attention and aren’t left alone for long periods. We go on regular neighborhood walks around the Balboa Peninsula, with plenty of outdoor time balanced by calm downtime at home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine. I follow each dog’s schedule closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, and I make sure they’re always supervised, comfortable, and safe. Dogs get regular walks, enrichment, and calm downtime, along with lots of affection and attention. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and house rules to keep pets feeling secure and stress-free. I provide consistent care, exercise, companionship, and any special needs such as medication, training reinforcement, or senior care. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they feel confident their pets are well cared for.
“It was my first time using Rover when I hired Bex to look after our two large pitbulls while my family and I were away for the weekend. Bex was very helpful walking me through the process and arrived early to the “interview” (meeting our dogs beforehand). The entire weekend she kept us very informed and took lots of pictures with our pups. Our older dog, Baghera, can be a bit intimidating because he’s not as enthusiastically friendly as our younger dog, but Bex was very accommodating and loving towards both of them. When we returned, everything was as we left it and our dogs seemed extremely happy and well-cared for. I will definitely use Bex again for future trips, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. 5 stars well earned !”

“I am very happy with my first experience with Rover and Trey. I will definitely be using him in the near future. Dependable and on time! Very accommodating on very short notice.”

“Shianne took such good care of our two cats this summer. One of our cats is pretty timid, Shianne went out of her way to make him feel more comfortable. That meant a lot knowing our little guy wasn’t hiding scared during her visits while we were away. I highly recommend Shianne!”
About: I believe that just like us humans, our pets have feelings too. They deserve to be treated with respect, cared for, and loved. I will forever treat animals with that kindness. I have taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I would watch and care for neighbors, families, and friends' pets. I grew up with many dogs of all sizes and even helped one of our smaller dogs deliver her puppies at home three separate times. I also love cats so so much! During the week I work at a grocery store while in my final year of college. I am free to care for people's pets whenever I am available. I always make sure that my pets and my clients' pets have sanitary plates. They also eat on time, get potty breaks (if needed), have playtime, walks, and sometimes even adventures! My main goal is to be of great company to the pets as they are here for a good time, not a long time.
About: I have taken care of small to medium size dogs for friends and family. Very patient with dogs and give them lots of love and attention! My husband and I are currently working from home and have couple of hours open everyday to walk the dog and take them to the park. I’ll make sure the dog is safe from cars, people and other dogs on walks and give them the exercise they need for the day.
About: I grew up with St Bernard’s and Labs, so big dogs are no sweat! But I’ve also had the pleasure of having small dogs and cats throughout my life, making me an excellent, versatile choice. Hairstylist by day, pet sitter also by day. And night! I make my own schedule, so I can give extra care to your sweet babies! Whilst I don’t offer boarding, I do lead with a safety first mindset. I avoid leash greets, and overall focus on preemptively stopping any issues. Your and your pets comfort and safety are my top priorities!

Vi did an awesome job taking care of our cat while we were out of town! Every day she arrived at the scheduled time and provided excellent care which included feeding, play, petting and brushing. She sent detailed messages along with daily photos that reassured us that our cat was well and happy. If you have high expectations for a pet sitter, I'd highly recommend Vi based upon our experience.

This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier with how things went. Jenny was super communicative and spent a lot of time helping my shy kitty feel comfortable. I had told her before the trip that she probably wouldn’t see Awahnee the entire time, but by the last day, I was getting pictures of my cat out and about and enjoying some head scratches!!!
Krista and Kelsey looked after our 16 yr old cat (Gizmo) whilst we were away for 5 days - making home visits twice a day. Communication was first class, as were the daily photos showing us how happy and content Gizmo was. This is our first time using Rover and we would have no hesitation in asking for Krista and Kelsey to look after Gizmo again.

I love Shianne!! She knows my pets, and can handle any special instructions, keeps me up to date, and sends cute pictures! She just helped me out in a pinch and she coordinated well with my son’s drop-ins which made the schedule a little unpredictable. I recommend her highly and will happily ask her to watch the furry ones any time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Truly the Best! I cannot say enough great things about Breena! She was absolutely amazing with my 4-month-old puppy. My pup can be a little stubborn and very energetic, but she handled her with so much patience, confidence, and genuine care. She sent the cutest updates and pictures throughout the walk, which made me feel so at ease. I could tell my puppy trusted her . Havarti came back happy, tired, and completely obsessed with her new walking buddy! It’s such a relief finding someone who treats your dog like their own. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pup in her hands and will definitely be booking her again.

Portia was great as always! This was a longer trip, and we asked that she drop by 2x a day. Good thing, since our kitten decided to pee on the blankets on the couch one day. After letting us know of the chaos, she arranged the couch so kitten wouldn't keep peeing there and washed the blankets. So in addition to great communication (and adorable photos of the kitten), she's great at handling talkative cats that like to cause trouble. We've previously booked her before now and would absolutely book her again.
