“Jeff is awesome! He takes such good care of our gunner pups. Gunner loves going there because he gets lots of sunshine, love, and beach 🏖️ vibes. Very communicative and the pictures/updates are great”

“Wendi was an amazing pet sitter! Wendi and her husband treated our dog as if she was their own. Our dog went on so many adventures and Wendi would send us multiple photos a day to put our minds at ease. We also had to change our drop off date and time and Wendi was very accommodating to our change. I highly recommend!”

“This was the first time that I left my Dolly, mini blue heeler with someone other than family. I was so impressed and felt confident and secure leaving Dolly with Sunny at our meet and greet. Her home is perfect for dogs and you can tell the love she has for all of them. Left Dolly for 2 nights and came home to a happy dog. Will definitely leave Dolly with Sunny again!”

“We truly appreciate Vi! She not only took incredible care of our dogs (and long, daily walks) but was also very communicative and responsive. Our dogs can be a handful at times and she was so loving and patient with them. We are so grateful for her and 10/10 recommend!”

“Pips was SO HAPPY while she was with Nikcole and her family. She actually pouted for a few hours after I picked her up yesterday. She was sad to have leave them behind. I'm sure got way more attention than she usually gets. Nikcole sent photos every day. It was a great experience and I'd definitely book her again in the future.”

“Great experience! The sitter was kind, reliable, and very attentive to my dog’s needs. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her service and will definitely book again!”

“I’m usually pretty anxious about leaving my dog, so finding someone I trust completely was so important to me. Jess honestly went above and beyond! From the start, she made me feel so comfortable and confident that my pup was in loving, caring hands. She kept me updated and was so kind and attentive to both of us. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and that made all the difference. I’m so grateful for Jess’s kindness and the way she made this whole experience so easy and positive. I’ll definitely be booking with her again, she is simply the best!”

“Erika is a TRUE ANGEL! Not only did she keep our doodle happy and cared for, she went above and beyond to ensure she had everything she needs. She even made a trip to our vet to get her medicine while we were gone. We got daily updates and adorable photos and sunny was always so happy. I will be using Erika every time we leave town and cannot recommend her enough!!”

“Lydia is a god send. I’m so glad I can leave my older dog with her and have total confidence that he’ll be well taken care of. I also love getting her pics of him playing and wagging his tail while I’m gone.”

“Krista and Kelsey were so great with Banjo! They sent pictures and updated us on how Banjo did. This was our first time leaving him with a sitter and they made us feel really comfortable.”

“Al and his wife took exceptional care of our dog Stella. We were visiting from out of state and Al was flexible with drop off and pick up time. Stella got to go with them to line dancing. She was loved and treated like their own. Real special dog caregivers. Thank you!!!”

“Catherine was great. My dog had some extra health issues that needed special attention and Catherine took care of them no problem. She sent daily updates with pictures and was very responsive. I will definitely be using her again!”

“This is Charlie’s second time staying with Matthew. He really enjoys his time and the walks on the beach. Matthew takes such great care of Him and I’m rest assured he is safe.”

“We were concerned about being away for the first 4th of July from our pup. She gets severe anxiety about fireworks and HB is like a war zone. Sandra was such a great help watching our dog for the 4th. She sent us regular updates and photos, we did not need to worry about a thing and enjoy our trip. Our pup was in the best of hands. I strongly recommend Sandra to take great care of your pet.”

“Book Danielle!! She is absolutely amazing and took care of buddy with utmost care while our family was on vacation in the area - she updated me the whole time with pictures, took him on walks every evening and was very attentive to his eating schedule! Love that she also had a sweet dog he could play with. While she did have a cat that buddy was being overly playful with she handled it very well and just kept them in separate areas so they were both well taken care of!! Highly recommend booking Daniel to watch your pup when you’re in the Newport/Huntington beach area - you will feel so calm that he is being well taken care of!”

“Laura was the best Rover sitter we’ve had! She was so reliable, prepared, and also amazing at updates and fun photos. Between the sprinkler pad, long walls and runs, all the treats, and cuddle time they were spoiled rotten. Thank you for taking such fantastic care of my pups!”

We had the absolute pleasure of having Lisa care for our dog, Cooper, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cooper is like our baby, and Lisa treated him with so much love, attention, and care—it meant everything to us. Honestly, I don’t think he even wanted to come home! She has the sweetest dog and a beautiful yard where Cooper could run and play, and he felt completely comfortable right away. Throughout my time away, Lisa sent thoughtful updates and photos that made me so happy and gave me total peace of mind. Lisa is truly a gift—reliable, kind, and clearly someone who genuinely loves what she does. I will absolutely be using her regularly and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. You would be so lucky to have her care for your dog. 5 stars all the way! ⭐️🐾

Oh my gosh let me just say that this was the best experience I could have hoped for! I have had my lil girl pug Ponyo since she was 9 weeks old and she just turned 8! She was sold to me with parvo and almost died but bc she is my warrior princess she survived after spending 8 days in puppy ICU. The vet let me hold her for 5 minutes every day as long as I was wearing full scrubs (bc parvo is so contagious) and so I went in every day and held her for that entire 5 minutes, so that she knew she had a reason to keep fighting! Since then she has received the best care no matter what, she is with me always. She eats the best food and goes everywhere with me! When she was 4 years old she was kidnapped and it took me a year of filing police reports and searching everywhere for her it was the worst year of my life! The thought of leaving her in the care of anyone other than me is very difficult so when this family vacation to Hawaii came up I tried to find a way to bring her, she is a registered support animal, but Hawaii has very strict regulations when it comes to traveling with dogs. I tried a day at doggy daycare, watched the webcams the ENTIRE TIME and she just didn't seem very comfortable. She is 8 years old so she just likes to lay around all day and she isn't really big on playing with large groups of dogs. When I found Wendi's profile on Rover I thought this cannot be real! Great reviews and the photos all the dogs look so happy! I figured I would give it a shot. Her response time is immediate, and she immediately scheduled a meet & greet to bring Ponyo over and see if it would be a good fit. Wendi and Jon were waiting on the sidewalk when I pulled up with Ponyo and she just went right up to them wagging her butt and squealing. Right then I knew they had a good energy because Ponyo has PTSD from the kidnapping so she doesn't just run up to anyone. Their home was so nice, clean and plenty of dog toys! Dog blankets on the couch which was nice so she could comfortably lay down. A lovely fenced in patio with fake grass for Ponyo to relax outside safely. Ponyo felt right at home immediately. By the end of the first meeting I made my booking. Wendi was extremely accommodating to my trip schedule, the night I dropped Ponyo off, her and Jon met me at the sidewalk with a wagon to carry Ponyo's things. Since Ponyo had met them already before and got a good vibe, she was super excited to see them when we arrived! It was like mom who! lol! I was basically crying and she was just running to the gate ready to go in! I woke up to photos first thing the next morning. Wendi immediately sent me photos of Ponyo getting acclimated to their home and gave me so much reassurance. I received multiple photos throughout each day I was away and even a video of some playtime zoomiez! Ponyo looked so happy in every photo, even went out on a walk with another dog and she normally struggles with doing that! Normally she barks at the other dog or avoids the dog completely, but the second day I received a photo of Ponyo out on a walk with another dog looking calm and happy! When it was time for me to come home, my flight landed at 7:45pm at LAX meaning I wasn't going to get to Orange County until almost 9pm, but I had work early the next morning, so Wendi was so great! She texted me to let me know that when I was on my way just text her and Jon would meet me outside with Ponyo. Even when things got delayed due to traffic and freeway closures, they were so nice and understanding! Sure enough when I pulled up Jon was outside with Ponyo and all of her things packed up neatly in her bag, she greeted me with so many kisses and squeals and just so happy! I am so grateful to Wendi and Jon for making my first Rover experience stress free and comfortable! I honestly think I may start booking Ponyo 2 days a week with them during the day while I am at work so that she can have some time not being cooped up in the room I rent. If you are looking for a dog sitter TRUST AND BELIEVE that Wendi & Jon are the best !

Vi was amazing and took great care of Zuko. She provided us with very detailed diary of each day and photos which we loved. We felt like Zuko was in great hands with her and would definitely book her in the future again. She even went above and beyond with him like washing his bed and toys. Would highly recommend anyone!
Thomas kindly agreed to take care of Link last minute over Easter, and we’re incredibly grateful. Everything went perfectly-he was always responsive, sent lots of photos and updates, and Link clearly had a great time. We truly appreciate it and would absolutely trust him again!

Jeff was fabulous! My dog has separation anxiety and he was so happy and content staying with Jeff and his wife. He did not miss me for a minute. He was well taken care of and had all the attention a needy dog needs. I was able to be away and not worry about my furry friend.

Jessica was the best! She was up for the puppy energy with our 2 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. Sent updates and pictures daily to make us feel at ease and a couple funny stories. Bodie came back a happy camper, highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!!

Savannah was absolutely amazing with our dog, Auggie! From the very first message, she was responsive, kind, and clearly experienced. You can tell right away that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. Auggie can be a little particular and takes time warming up to new people, but Savannah was so patient and gentle with him. She took the time to understand his routine, preferences, and quirks, which made us feel completely at ease. We received regular updates, photos, and little notes about how he was doing, which meant so much to us while we were away. When we picked Auggie up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and loving hands. Savannah went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and truly wonderful with dogs, Savannah is the one. Auggie can’t wait to see her again!

I was very impressed with the way Jeri took care of Dexter. She sent me pics everyday and updates multiple times a day, I felt like I wasn’t missing anything. I can tell that Dexter was comfortable and felt relaxed. Jeri pays lots of attention to detail and is always willing to go the extra mile. I will definitely be hiring her again and I highly recommend anyone to hire her for their pet because she is excellent.

I couldn’t be more grateful to Carter and Courtney for the incredible care they gave our dog. When multiple family emergencies came up during our extended trip to California, we suddenly found ourselves needing dog care in a new place. Although we had never met in person before the initial meet and greet, they treated us from the very beginning with such genuine kindness and compassion, like longtime friends. They took wonderful care of our dog, were incredibly flexible with our many schedule changes, and truly went above and beyond. During a difficult time for our family, they gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our dog was safe, loved, and so well cared for. That meant more to us than we can fully express.
