Loving Pet Sitters in Newport Beach
Hello, I’m Jeff! My wife Kara and I live on the Newport Beach Peninsula and are both long time Newport Beach local residents. I am a retired real estate agent, and my wife works part time as a dental hygienist. We enjoy spending lots of time at home, so your fur babies will never be left alone. At least one of us is always home with them. We absolutely love all animals, especially dogs! We have the sweetest dog Monkey that is very friendly and gets along with all other dogs. We live in a very pet friendly community. There is a great dog walking park just 4 houses down from us, and we have an enclosed patio and a small side yard. Rest assured, your babies will get 3-4 long walks a day (depending on their energy level) and will be safely inside with us when not on walks. For longer stays, if your pup does well off leash, we love to take them to the beach (3 blocks away) to chase a tennis ball around before sunset. Obviously, they will always have access to fresh water, will be fed on the same schedule as they are at home, and given lots of treats! We look forward to showering your doggie with lots and lots of love and attention! Please inquire about discounted rates for stays longer than 2 weeks. We board up to 2 dogs at a time, and have our own dog, so we unfortunately can't accommodate dogs that need to be an only dog. We do not require a meet and greet. Our reviews speak for themselves! If you have a stay of 5 days or longer, and prefer to have a meet and greet, we are happy to schedule them mid-week in the evenings.

Jeff and Kara took such good care of our Teddy boy. We received photos and updates on his activities and all the cuddling Teddy is known for. We could not have asked for a better host! Thank you Jeff & Kara for hosting our Teddy and for helping to make my birthday weekend in Newport Beach possible! We hope to see you again in mid-December.
Jeff was very quick to respond whenever I contacted him. My dog immediately felt comfortable at Jeff’s home. Jeff’s neighborhood is dog heaven! The daily pictures Jeff sent were reassuring Glady was calm and happy. I will be using Jeff again!
Our dog was happy and healthy upon our return from a two-week trip and Jeff was good about sending a daily photo from their walk. He is a popular sitter so be sure to book ahead whenever possible!

Schedule
Our schedule is pretty busy, as we like to keep the dogs mentally and physically stimulated. We typically go for walks / potty breaks at 7:00am, 12:00pm, 5:00pm, and again right before bed. Meals are typically given at 7am and 6pm. We also enjoy doing mini photo shoots with your dog throughout the day, so we can send you lots of pictures and updates. In the evenings, we usually watch Netflix and have cuddle time with the pups.

Safety, trust & environment
Please bring food, treats, and a leash or harness. A bed is optional. They are welcome to sleep in the bed with us if they prefer. We provide Milk Bones, bowls, and poop bags. Sorry, we do not accept aggressive dogs, sick dogs, or dogs with serious behavioral issues.

Your dog will get lots of exercise, as well as lots of cuddles! When they are here, we treat them like a part of the family!
