“Nikcole was responsive and was able to accommodate my short notice booking. I felt very comfortable with her and her family watching over my dog, Coco. I would use her again and recommend her to others.”

“We were concerned about being away for the first 4th of July from our pup. She gets severe anxiety about fireworks and HB is like a war zone. Sandra was such a great help watching our dog for the 4th. She sent us regular updates and photos, we did not need to worry about a thing and enjoy our trip. Our pup was in the best of hands. I strongly recommend Sandra to take great care of your pet.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Diana. My dogs felt right at home from the start, and it was clear they were treated with love and care the entire time. I received updates and photos, and seeing how happy and comfortable they were gave me total peace of mind. It truly felt like a home-away-from-home for them. I highly recommend Diana and will definitely be booking again!”

“This is Charlie’s second time staying with Matthew. He really enjoys his time and the walks on the beach. Matthew takes such great care of Him and I’m rest assured he is safe.”

“Sung was an amazing carer for my dog Pumpkin! He went above in beyond in playing with pumpkin and also took him to the beach on a beautiful sunny day. Highly recommended!! Thank you so much Sung!!!”

“Our 7yr old mini schnauzer LOVES Al and Dody! He is treated like a member of their family. He looks forward to seeing them and misses them when he leaves. We don't use any other Rover sitter and truly appreciate finding a great match for our fur baby. If your pup does better with one-on-one human attention instead of a kennel/boarding environment, then book early for Al - he is one of the best sitters in Orange County.”

“Julie takes excellent care of our pooch Buddy. And her own dog made a great campanion too. She’s very kind and attentive and keep us updated while away. I would highly recommend her for overnight care!”

“Armida took excellent care of our Bobo and Bingo, they loved being with her family and their dog. We received regular updates on their feedings and exercises with daily photos. We were nervous and worried about leaving them for over three weeks, but they seemed happy and comfortable every day. They even looked more confident when we picked them up. We're so lucky to have such a wonderful dog sitter nearby!!”

“Laura was amazing watching both of our pups. This is the first time we left them with anyone and she kept them busy and they were happy. They came home relaxed and calm. Definitely will take them back to them.”

“Victoria watched our dog Betsy for a weekend while we were out of town and everything went smoothly! Betsy was very comfortable and Victoria maintained communication daily to give us updates on her! She followed the schedule provided and took wonderfully care of Betsy!”

“Great experience! The sitter was kind, reliable, and very attentive to my dog’s needs. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her service and will definitely book again!”

“Vanessa watched my Toki for me for 3 nights and she did the most amazing job! I like to keep Toki clean and she came back to me in very pristine condition. I feel so comfortable leaving Toki with Vanessa, I’ll definitely book again 🎉”

“Our dog had a wonderful stay and I cannot recommend Wendi and her husband more. Wendi sent pictures and kept open communication the entire time. I would book again they are 10/10!”

“Catherine took great care of my puppy Barley. She went above and beyond to accommodate for his needs to make sure that he slept well each night. Updates were provided each day with many photos. I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover to watch over my puppy. Thank you so much for taking care of Barley!”

“Jessica was wonderful with our senior dog, Happy. He has dementia and requires extra patience, and she handled everything with so much care and compassion. Her communication was great, and her genuine kindness gave us real peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely book with her again”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Huntington Beach
Cheryl is very kind and worked with us on a few last minute travel situations, not to mention that Oskar had a bad fall before-hand and she was very attentive to his needs and helped us feel at ease while we were out of the country. I highly recommend Cheryl! Plus more than anything Oskar loves her!

Laura is a very kind and experienced dog sitter. She was responsive, easy to coordinate with, and our dogs appeared happy and comfortable when we picked them up. She sent updates while we were away, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. We really appreciated having someone reliable to care for them while we were away. Thank you!

Sandra is the best dog sitter! Every time we travel and need someone to care for our dog, she is always there for us. She treats our Billie like one of her own and gives us peace of mind whenever we’re away. We always come home to a fresh, happy, and well-loved pup—she even gives him a bath before he comes home! We are so grateful for the love and care she gives Billie. Thank you, Sandra, for always taking such wonderful care of our boy!

This was our first time using Armida, and we could not be more pleased! She and her family genuinely cared for our two pups (Misty our 10 year old Poodle and Pugsley our 8 year old Pug, who can be picky eater). Much better leaving them with a family in their home environment versus boarding in ANY kind of kennel! My husband and I highly recommend Armida and will definitely be boarding with her again!

Danielle was amazing! Everything went perfectly and smoothly. My dog loved her and loved staying with her. They went on a ton of long walks so expect your pupper to get their exercise! I also have a ton a great photos from Danielle that are far better than mine that I get to add to my collection. Highly recommend!!!

We have used Sung multiple times, which already tells you we trust him with Luna. He is responsive, takes her to doggie beach, and sends pictures/videos. He is one of my picks when we need someone to watch/play with Luna or even just to give her exposure to people outside of our home.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
