My child will be at school during the school year. My days are flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to send photos/videos of your fur baby as often as you’d like! I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. (I will be outside with them the entire time) I can accommodate crate training at night or snuggle with them in my king size bed! We are an A/C controlled home!!

About: When I was a kid, I was afraid of cats. I was afraid of getting clawed. As I grew older, I moved in with roommates that had cats. I grew to love them to the point that they have become my favorite pets. After moving out, I adopted one of the cats I grew closer with, her name is Tofu. She was my best friend and my everything. I loved cats even more because of her which inspired me to start volunteering at Cat Nap Hangout where I helped clean around the area, wash plates/bowls after feeding time, help feed kittens, cats and even the ones that were sick. I have a goal to build a sanctuary in Philippines for stray cats. I want to give them a home to rest and heal the ones injured. I don’t have Tofu anymore, she has passed away due to old age and I miss her dearly. About: I have been around dogs most of my life. I have a 9 year old Vizsla and have fostered for a Vizsla rescue and watched dogs for deployed military for the past few years. I have also watched several dogs for neighbors and friends over the years and really enjoy it. I love dogs and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and city. When I have looked for sitters for my dog over the years, I have looked for people who have experience with the breed and are ready for the velcroness, silliness and shenanigans that come from a pointer. While I am happy to host any friendly, well-behaved dogs, I also want the Vizsla, GSP, Weimy community to know…I get you and I’m ready 😬 Schedule similar to my dog’s. Usually outside every 4 hours or so for walks/playtime. Plenty of outside play time. I also have a doggy door to the back patio if your dog likes to bask in the sun like mine during the day I’m at home and don’t leave the dogs for long on their own. I interact with the dogs throughout the day and esp at our community park where they can play and run with other well-behaved dogs in the neighborhood. Dogs that stay with me have roaming privileges throughout the house. I have dogs beds throughout, but they are also welcome on the beds, sofa, etc.

“I was a bit skeptical having Vivian walk my 105 German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois dog after I met her. She was quiet and small and my dog knows his commands but sometimes he can be stubborn. She did ask questions about my dog and offered to feed him and water him along with asking where other items for him were at. This was great. Even being a bit skeptical, I still did hire her to walk him. She did great. She showed up consistently for 3 days of walking, took pictures and they looked like they had a good time together. About: Hi, I'm Tina - an HB beach girl on 12th St with a heart that lives for dogs. Your baby will be cherished like my own, with endless love, cuddles, and attention all day long. We will enjoy lots of happy walks, beach breezes, and playtime. You will get pictures and updates all day so you feel close even when you're away. I'm gentle and patient with senior pups, playful with the young ones, comfortable with medications, and I have lots of love for anxious dogs who just need extra comfort. And yes - I love kitties too! While dogs are my specialty, I am happy to care for cats with the same devotion, cuddles, clean litter, and sweet companionship. Your pet will never go without. A happy pet is a happy owner, and I will do anything to keep that tail wagging - or purring. My schedule is very flexible and I am home all day to give your pet my full love and attention. I would love to spend my days with your babies. They will be cherished, cuddled, and never alone, with lots of love to give. Your pet's safety and happiness is my everything. I have a secure fenced yard for safe play and sunbathing, and your pup will have potty breaks at least four times a day and more whenever needed. We enjoy fun runs at different fields, long evening walks with beach breezes, and a calm, clean, loving home where they will feel completely safe and adored.
About: For the first time in 23 years I am living without a dog. I have had anywhere from my last solo pup to a pack of 4. I have gone through training with previous dogs so have experience with commands and reactive walkers. I have done dog sitting in other people’s homes, in my own, as well as drop ins and walks. Most of all I love dogs and am not quite ready to adopt again, but would love to help you with yours! I work for myself from home so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available most days and times depending on what you need. I have a spacious apartment that your pet will have free range of. There is no fenced yard, but I am in a very walkable neighborhood with parks nearby. And if your dog likes the beach I am just a short distance to Huntington Dog Beach.

“Alexa and Codie were incredible caretakers with our pups and were incredibly patient with us during a frantic and turbulent time in our lives. Alexa worked with our schedule for a meet and greet to make sure the pups were a good match for them as caretakers, she did an excellent job setting mutual expectations. At the time I didn’t understand, but after seeing how well she took care of my pups it’s because she deeply values her word and what she commits to, she does so heartily. As a result, while we were away our dogs were perhaps even better cared for than we’ve been able to manage in recent months. The pictures received from Alexa and Cody illustrated how comfortable and cared for my dogs were and how loved they felt. I genuinely couldn’t recommend these two enough.”

About: I have been a “Dog Mom” for over 20 years. Often having multiple dogs of different sizes and breeds. I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I currently have no dogs in the house and I miss it so much! I’m excited to help your family any way I can. I’m a stay at home mom with one 9 year old boy who shares in my love for dogs. My child will be at school during the school year. My days are flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to send photos/videos of your fur baby as often as you’d like! I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. (I will be outside with them the entire time) I can accommodate crate training at night or snuggle with them in my king size bed! We are an A/C controlled home!!
