“Sheena is amazing! She and her daughter are so sweet and gentle with the animals. My dog was so happy and calm when we got home after having drop in visits. She sent amazing photos and videos and that made me feel relaxed and secure to be away from my fur babies knowing they were in such great hands!”

“Georgia was wonderful! So great with our two little pups, one who is especially nervous around new people. She was patient and kind and they both felt safe. She left detailed information about the entire visit and several pictures, letting us know they were in great hands while we were away. Will definitely rebook the next time we need a sitter. Thank you Georgia!”

“Amazing experience! Cathy is so attentive and responsive. Sent plenty of pictures, kept me updated and was able to keep my reactive dog safe! Would absolutely recommend!!!”

“Jenna did a fantastic job with our pets when we had to leave town unexpectedly. She's reliable and seems to really care that our boys were safe, comfortable, and happy while we were away.”

“Alexa is great! She dealt with me forgetting to a leave a key and took extra care with my pup. She is so communicative, sends great updates and treats my dog as her own. I will definitely continue to book Alexa!”
“May was WONDERFUL!!! We have two barky chihuahuas & they took to her immediately! We were able to have fun & enjoy our long day away knowing that May would take them on walks & make sure they had dinner. I will definitely book with May if we ever are gone for the day! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Dayna is wonderful!! We are so lucky to have found her. We are very particular about who watches our shih tzu so it took a while to find someone we trust. She is sweet, responsive and trustworthy plus her background as a vet tech is a major plus. Thank you for giving us peace of mind when we have to leave our shih tzu!”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats as pets so I understand the importance of caring for them as they are part of the family. I have worked with multiple kinds of dogs and cats through friends, family, and personal experience. I just graduated college and am currently working part time so I’m available in the afternoons to take care of your pets whenever you need! I will care for your pet as if it is my own. It is my priority to keep your pet fed, walked, loved, happy, and safe at all times. I’m able to take your pets on long walks or house sit.
About: Hi there, my name is Amanda and I’m so excited to care for your pet! I just moved to OC in the last few months and am looking to build up my Rover clientele. I’m in school at the moment to become an elementary school teacher and am hoping to get some supplemental income (plug some dog and cat snuggles!!). Growing up with cats, I’ve taken care of them from a young age. However, I love and have experience with dogs as well. I’m looking forward to getting to know your pet! Feel free to reach out with any questions and I hope to hear from you soon. My teacher credentialing program is fully online so I can be flexible with my times for visits throughout the day. I will do my best to accommodate last minute requests. I’m also happy to schedule a meetup if you’d like! I will follow any directions and instructions left word for word. I will also make sure to send daily updates so you can vacation / be away from home stress-free!
About: I’m Margarida 😊 I have been a pet caretaker for 10+ years. I’ve done foster services, worked as a veterinary assistant, and have been a pet sitter now for 3 years. My Experience 🐾 I’ve fostered hundreds of cats from all areas of life and socialization stages. From newborns to elderly cats, pregnant mothers/in labor, cats with disabilities and feral rescues in need of socialization. I can proudly say every cat I've fostered has always gone to a forever home and it warms my heart to see rescued animals become friendly and sociable with humans. I worked as a vet assistant during my time in college for Community Mobile Vet in Santa Cruz. My job consisted of handling cats and dogs of various sizes, as well as birds and other animals, which included administering medication and claw clipping. Services 🦮 I am experienced in bottle feeding, giving medication, cleaning up waste, basic grooming, claw clipping, exercise, and socialization of cats/dogs of various sizes/ages/abilities. Contacting me 📞 You can call/text me through this website and I should reply shortly. I am flexible and available all days of the week! Weekends may differ, but please always check my calendar for availability! My family and I have been deeply invested in animal welfare and care since I was young. I no longer live with my family and I miss the joy of being around animals and taking care of my own pets and foster pets, I love to meet and care for other people’s pets! Having been a vet assistant and fostering hundreds of cats, I have to be prepared for the unexpected and take precautions with every animal I meet. It's extremely important to be aware of any triggers or risks in an environment so I can be accommodating to the pet I am caring for. I like to provide a very friendly and attentive environment where I can gauge their needs at any given moment. This includes being accommodating to a pet’s social/behavioral needs and giving them the space to warm up to me.
“This is the second time we have booked with Meamea. She is extremely flexible, communicates often, and goes the extra mile to send us pictures of our extremely reclusive cat (or at least her eyes under the bed) at every check-in.”

“Amy was fantastic!! I needed someone last minute and she came to the rescue. She sent me plenty of photos and updated me in a timely manner. It was great to know that my puppy had some playtime as well. Would rebook Amy again.”

About: I have had animals my entire life: dogs, horses, cats, and fish. One of the hardest things in college was not having an animal around me at all times. This means your pets will be provided with so much pent up love that needs to be shared! I am also a college athlete so if your fur baby is on the hyper side and needs a faster paced walk or run I will be able to make that happen. Anything your pet needs I will provide, because I know how much these animals mean to people. From a personal standpoint, I understand the worry that goes into being away from your babies so if you'd like I can always send you pictures or selfies with your pets to keep you at ease!
About: Hi! I’m Jonathan, a lifelong dog owner/lover with years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, and grew up pet/house sitting for neighbors very regularly. I currently pet/house sit locally for my neighbors and am happy to give references! Good with puppies, elderly dogs, and all in between. I currently have a 3/yo Husky mix named Miko. I know how important it is to have peace of mind about your furry family while you’re gone, and I’d love to help out. Talk soon! I work on my own timeframe right now, so I am very flexible and open to whatever your schedule needs! Let me know and I’ll be there. I’m a very active person and run every day with my dog. I’m more than happy to run with your dog (if needed), or just go on long/short walks as is needed by your pet. My dog needs high activity, so I’m not intimidated by that at all.
“Kristin is by far the most considerate and compassionate sitter we’ve ever had. Our cat absolutely adores her, has no side effects like he used to, when we’re going for an extended work trip, and she is so thoughtful & communicative. This past trip we had a faulty fire alarm panel in the building, and she stayed on her own volition to ensure our cat was fine. Could not recommend her enough!”

About: Hi, I'm Dani 👋🏼 I love animals! I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. Growing up people used to call our house a zoo! I’m familiar with cats and dogs, of course. Additionally I was raised with lots of birds and small animals like bunnies & rats, too. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and have experience with various breeds like Shar-pei's, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Border Collies and more! I have many years of cat experience as well. I will be sure to keep your kitty's food bowl full and fresh water offered daily in a clean bowl. I will keep their litter box clean and be sure to cuddle and play with them as much as they prefer! I'll also be happy to provide any enrichment or treats like catnip or canned food/tuna. I know some cats are snuggle bugs while others prefer their space and I will happily provide what your kitty needs while respecting their space and boundaries. I currently work from home which means majority of my day will involve keeping your pup company and entertained. I am available for boarding, house sittings & drop ins when needed. Due to my flexible schedule I can also accept last minute bookings! As a helicopter dog mom you can be sure your fur baby will be safe while in my care. Because I don’t have a yard I take my pup on daily adventures! Whether it’s to the park to play with other dogs, on hikes or a beach walk (I live right across the street) your fur baby will surely have lots of fun when staying with me! I currently have a friendly 3 y/o border collie who love to make new friends, especially since he recently lost his big brother. I also have a cat who’s been raised around dogs his whole life and is very patient. I am clean and organized, you can trust that both your fur babies and home will be in good hands when booking with me. As a nanny in my past I know how important it is to come home to happy and tired babies as well as a nice clean home! When boarding in my home I can provide food/water bowls, poop bags/leashes, clean beds/blankets and lots of different toy options. I also have various enrichment toys like snuffle mats, puzzles, lick mats etc. I have one large dog cage available for use. Of course if it makes your pup more comfortable to have their own items that is perfectly fine too! I'll be sure to keep track of their belongings and return items clean and cared for. Communication is essential, please stay in contact with me before and during boarding/sitting. Please notify me when your are on your way for pick-up and drop-off. I am happy to provide multiple photo updates throughout the day so you can keep up with your pups adventures! If you will be without service for an extended period please let me know beforehand. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know, I aim to make each boarding/sitting experience easy and stress free for both humans and fur babies.

“I am so happy to have found Martha to care for my kitties! She was able to step in and provide excellent care and companionship at short notice. But she didn't just stop-by - she took the time to be with them and play with them, and send me updates. During the past year I had not been away from home due to the pandemic, and having someone to trust and know that my little girls were well taken care of was priceless! She shared photos with each visit too. I highly recommend her to others looking for excellent care of their fur babies - and peace of mind! Thank you again Martha for the outstanding care and service!”

Another amazing visit from Natasha! Our cats remembered and greeted her immediately, which is the best feeling ever. She’s a great communicator and leaves the best check-in notes and photos. We’re so lucky she could watch the boys again and trust her completely. Thanks Natasha! ❤️

Had a great experience! Marissa was reliable, communicative, and took really good care of my cat while I was away. I felt totally at ease knowing everything was being handled. I came home to a happy, well cared for pet and everything was just as I left it. Would definitely book again and recommend to others!

Shena was absolutely amazing with my cat, Barnaby! She truly went above and beyond in every way, not only taking exceptional care of him, but also checking in on my other pets, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made sure to send daily photos and videos, which meant the world to me. It was so comforting to see how happy and well cared for Barnaby was, he clearly adored her! I couldn’t recommend Shena enough and feel so lucky to have found my forever pet sitter.

This was my first time using Rover, and it was hands down the BEST experience I could have asked for, especially with Chris caring for my dog & cat! 🐾 Chris has incredible communication skills and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind :) He is also extremely punctual and reliable, especially when it comes to feeding and walking schedules, which meant everything to me & more. The level of love and care he showed my animals was truly top notch. He followed every instruction perfectly and still found ways to go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. For the first time in a very long time, I was actually able to relax and disconnect from “pet mom mode” because I knew my animals were being cared for exactly how I would care for them, if not even better. I also loved the pictures Chris sent, you could genuinely see how much fun my pets were having with him, and somehow he even got my cat to come out and play, which says everything. If you’re thinking about booking with Chris, do it!!! You’ll thank me later & your pets will gain a new best friend 🐾

I've used Martha for about 5 years now. She's taken great care of my fur babies. I used to get "proof of life" pics of my shy, anxious cat, Stella...two glowing eyes under the bed. While my other, people-friendly, cat soaked up all the love. Fast forward a couple years...Now Stella loves on Martha like they're best friends. It's a furry miracle.

This is the 3rd time we’ve used Ashley and have been happy each time. In addition to sitting with our 2 cats, Ashley pinched in and performed a couple additional tasks that needed attention while we were gone and she performed without issue. We’ll definitely reach out the next time we need assistance.

Abigail was awesome! We used Rover before and we have always had great dog/cat sitters!!! Abigail took time with our Holly who was grieving the loss of her “ sister”! Who died of cancer! Abigail understood and took extra time with my babygirl Holly! Took her on extra walks too! Sent daily photos of our girls and followed the daily routine!! We are very Abigail and will certainly use her again !!! We couldn’t be happier with care she gave our little girls and our little boy Cat!!!!

Erica was great she took really good care of my cat Sadie. She handled all my cats special needs. it was the first time I was able to go on vacation and not have to worry about my fur baby. I knew she was in good hands. Erica kept me well informed and sent me pictures daily. My cat really likes her I can tell cuz she acted like she was looking for her the first night that i got home right about the time that Erica makes her visits. Also hearing that my cat was following her all over the place tells me that she really liked her. Thank you for your service. Diane Gotti
