“Denise is the BEST! Pixie is 9 and has a heart condition. She also has a stubborn personality so it takes a special someone to take care of her. I needed to leave her with someone for 5 days. I just moved down here and didn’t know anyone. I am SO happy I found Denise. She was amazing with Pix. Pixie loved her so so much! Best part about it was that I could enjoy my time away and not have to worry one bit. She was very good at communicating and following all of Pixie’s routines. She is 100% part of our family, and being a rescue and a sensitive personality, taking her to a traditional boarding place was out of the question. We found out that Lisa and Phil are actually in our neighborhood, and after doing a meet and greet, we knew we had found our new dog people. They asked all the right questions about her personality, her needs, and routines. It really felt like they wanted to know her and be able to help her transition. Lisa treated our dog as if she was her own. She took her on walks to school every morning, played with her at home, and loved her for us while we were gone. She even slept on the couch the first night to be near by when my dog wanted to stay in the living room! I can't begin to explain the relief I had when I realized what an amazing family we had found to watch our dog. Lisa sent updates, photos and videos often and was overall just the best pet sitter we could ever have asked for. She was very communicative. If I could leave her and Phil 100 stars, I would! “Shannon was a wonderful caregiver for Dumbles! He is a bit of a handful—anxious around new people (pandemic puppy) and also still very feisty and full of energy. Shannon wasn't phased at all by my worries about Dumbles and it was clear from just meeting her that her low-key energy made Dumbles comfortable right away. Honestly, it was embarrassing how quickly he just headed off to her car with her without a second glance at us, haha! Shannon did a great job communicating with us and sending us photos of Dumbles looking happy with her - snuggling in her bed, asking for treats, going on walks, and generally looking very much at home with her. She was responsive to texts and Rover messages, and was very flexible with her time (we switched up to having her deliver him back to us rather than us picking him up and she was like "no problem!"). “Monique was a loving, caring, and responsible sitter for our 1.5 year-old Mini Poodle, Kiki. Monique sent us Kiki updates and photos every day... even more during the first days when we were most anxious. The photos and updates showed Kiki playing with Monique's kids, snuggling with them on the sofa, enjoying her treats, and going on walks. That reassurance was much appreciated! Monique's house is neat and clean, in a nice neighborhood, with a secured backyard, park space nearby, and lots of nearby places to walk to. Kiki came home in high spirits and weight-neutral. Overall, this is a great sitter and a great place for Kiki when we're away on vacation.”

About: I had a dog for over 10 years and after he sadly passed away, I realized that I still had a lot of love to give! I’m currently a stay at home mom who absolutely adores pets, so my schedule is completely up to what your pet needs and what their schedule is! I live in an upstairs apartment that has lots of space for play time but also has cozy spots for nap time! The apartment has a secured front balcony that can be blocked off at request.

I have been bringing my two chihuahua mix dogs here for years. When I pull up to their house and open my car door, my dogs run to the house and wait to be let inside. That’s saying something. One of my dogs (10 lbs) is scared of people and other dogs. First, he runs to get inside. Second, when I pick him up he runs up with the other dogs and is completely comfortable as part of the pack.
Megan and her family were so kind and took great care of Nixon! He can be a really picky eater and nervous in new environments, so she even hand-fed him when he refused to eat. Their home is clean and smells amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Megan’s services again. Thanks Megan!

If I could give a 10 star review I would. Drew was an absolute pleasure to meet and a true godsend watching our dog Callie. We are his first Rover client - however, I was able to obtain two amazing referrals from very qualified people who work for a local dog shelter. They made me feel very comfortable hiring Drew because Drew volunteers at that shelter and they knew of his steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of animals. Drew took really good care of our dog Callie and sent us lots of pictures and updates. Dogs are a big part of Drew’s life and he just seems like a really good human. Don’t hesitate to hire him…you and your dog will be very lucky.
She took such amazing care of my dog for 5 days, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt completely at ease and when we picked him up, he was so happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. Jeff and Tammy did a wonderful job caring for my senior girl Addie. At 11 years old I am nervous leaving her in general but with immediate family overseas I was gone longer than ever this time and needed a caring gentle home for her. They are experienced and loving and provided her with the same routine she has at home. Their sweet senior dog Nicholas was a good match for her as she doesn't usually enjoy overly rambunctious pups.
