This was my first time using Rover. I always ask a close friend or family member to take care of my Blu if I go out of town. So to give my Blu to someone whom I just met, was a very scary thought. But Tate couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable as an owner. 10/10. The moment my dog met Tate, it was like he had known him for years. Tate has such a caring and warm spirit, and I believe my dog felt that the moment he walked through the door. Tate sent multiple pictures throughout each day, showing that Blu was in good hands. My first experience with Tate (and Rover) couldn’t have gone any better. If you’re scared/nervous about leaving your pet with a dogsitter like I was, I would highly suggest leaving them under Tate’s care. Tate is the best and he’ll be seeing Blu again.

Tate did a fantastic job with Rocky, gave regular updates and pictures. He is still tired from so much fun. Thanks Tate!

I have known Tate since he was five years old. He’s very good with animals and has taken care of some of the neighbors pets frequently. He also took care of my dog during Thanksgiving for a few days. He did a fine job.

I highly recommend Tate as a dog sitter. He’s been around and caring for dogs his entire life and has a natural, calm, and loving way with them. He recently had to say goodbye to his two boxers, who he helped raise and care for throughout their lives, and he truly misses having that daily dog companionship. Because of that, he brings extra attention, affection, and care to every dog he looks after. Tate is home quite bit, so dogs get consistent supervision, play, and walks—not just quick check-ins. He’s responsible, attentive, and handles situations calmly and confidently. Any dog in Tate’s care will be safe, well-loved, and treated like family.
