Hi! I’m Tate, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up in a home full of pets—including boxers, a German shepherd, cats, and an American bulldog—so being around animals has always been second nature to me. Most recently, I helped raise and care for our two boxers from 8 weeks old through their senior years, including administering medications and providing extra attention and comfort as they aged. That experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to tune in to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. I currently dog-sit for neighbors and always make sure owners feel connected and reassured by sending regular updates and photos. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I am comfortable following whatever directions you have for checking in and walking your pet. I will always use a leash for walks and have no problem cleaning up after your pet. I look forward to providing a safe, fun environment and being a great companion for your dog while you’re away!

I have known Tate since he was five years old. He’s very good with animals and has taken care of some of the neighbors pets frequently. He also took care of my dog during Thanksgiving for a few days. He did a fine job.
I highly recommend Tate as a dog sitter. He’s been around and caring for dogs his entire life and has a natural, calm, and loving way with them. He recently had to say goodbye to his two boxers, who he helped raise and care for throughout their lives, and he truly misses having that daily dog companionship. Because of that, he brings extra attention, affection, and care to every dog he looks after. Tate is home quite bit, so dogs get consistent supervision, play, and walks—not just quick check-ins. He’s responsible, attentive, and handles situations calmly and confidently. Any dog in Tate’s care will be safe, well-loved, and treated like family.

Schedule
My schedule is ideal for boarding, as I’m only in class Monday and Wednesday from 9am–3pm at Golden West College, which means I have plenty of time to give your dog attention, exercise, and care.

Your dog will enjoy a safe, fun environment here with a fully fenced backyard and a gated pool area—perfect for pups who love to swim (with supervision, of course!). I also have a kennel and doggy door available if needed to keep your pet comfortable and secure. There are no other animals in the home, so your dog will have my full attention.
