“My dog, Bailey, had a great stay with Victoria. She stayed in touch with me assuring me Bailey was fine. I knew she was in good care. No problems, easy to interact with. I would recommend her!!”

“Wendi was great! This was the first time leaving my puppy with a Dogsitter so I was nervous. She sent me photos and videos everyday assuring me Romeo was enjoying his stay with her! He was well taken care of and loved the whole time. I will book Wendi whenever I need a Dogsitter again.”

“Sunny was amazing, she took excellent care of my two dogs a Beagle and Labradoodle. She sent photos of my pups daily to keep in touch and always responded to my messages within minutes. Very responsive and caring dog sitter. 100% recommended.”
“Jeff is great! Our pups Kash and Remi had a great time and were very well taken care of. Jeff sent me photos throughout the weekend and I definitely recommend him 100%! He’s got a great location with a perfect patio for the pups to hang out.”

About: I am new to Rover but began pet sitting for neighbors at 16 years old. I have experience with both small and large dogs, including my own 90 lb lab who I trained from an 8 week old puppy into adulthood. You can feel at complete ease knowing your dog will be well cared for in a very loving, comfortable, and clean home while you are away. We have a big, fully fenced-in back yard, as well as a nice neighborhood for walks. I am home all day and am able to accommodate anything your dog needs. I have a very flexible schedule and am able to accommodate both daytime care as well as multi-night overnight boarding with full availability with advanced notice. We have a fully-fenced in back yard as well as a clean home for your dog to feel comfortable while you are away. We also have a very friendly 2.5 year old male English Lab to be a playmate and keep your dog company.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and truly enjoy caring for them. Whether it’s playing with an energetic puppy, taking a high-energy dog for a run, or going for a slow, gentle walk with a senior dog, I always adapt to their needs. I feel fortunate to be on Rover, as my flexible hybrid job allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet. My goal is to make every pup feel happy, loved, and completely at ease. Pet care fits into my routine by allowing flexibility around my remote work schedule. On the days I work remotely, I can easily accommodate midday check-ins, walks, or runs for dogs. On weekends, I’m fully available for longer walks, playtime, or extended check-ins, ensuring pets get the attention and exercise they need. As a dog walker and provider of at-home check-ins, I ensure that dogs get regular exercise, bathroom breaks, and playtime according to their individual needs. During check-ins, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean living space, and monitor their well-being. I also send updates to their owners to keep them informed and reassured.
“Pips was SO HAPPY while she was with Nikcole and her family. She actually pouted for a few hours after I picked her up yesterday. She was sad to have leave them behind. I'm sure got way more attention than she usually gets. Nikcole sent photos every day. It was a great experience and I'd definitely book her again in the future.”

“I cannot rave enough about Nicole. She responded to my request immediately, was extremely flexible, kind, and professional, and made my dog who can be very anxious extremely comfortable. She sent me cute pics of my pup throughout the weekend at the beach, playing with other new dog friends, and getting lots of love and attention. It made our family vacation so much better having peace of mind knowing our dog was being well taken care of. I will definitely be calling Nicole the next time we are in the Newport Beach area!”

About: I can handle any size dog, big or small, high energy, shy, timid. As a mom of two beautiful pups you can rest assured your pup will be under great care. Pet care fits right into my part-time work schedule, allowing me to give your furry friend plenty of attention. I'm available Monday through Thursday evenings, and I have all-day availability Friday through Sunday. This flexibility ensures your pup will receive consistent care and plenty of playtime. Your pup's safety and happiness are my top priorities, whether they're in my home or yours. When they stay with me, they'll have the opportunity to meet my two very friendly and sweet pups to keep them company. All my dogs are leash trained and extremely friendly. I always strive to become best friends with your pup, while making sure they have the absolute best, most fun, and safest experience possible. I focus on positive reinforcement and creating a comfortable, stimulating environment that's tailored to your pup's needs.
“Ning was so responsive and provided us with constant updates about Roux’s wellbeing! I was honestly so nervous since it’s his first time boarding at someone else’s place and he also is a very nervous boy. To make it worse, he ate something bad the day before and needed medication for his diarrhea. She made sure to feed him his medicine on time. She also made sure he was comfortable and slowly introduced him to the other pups. We would definitely book with her again.”

“Our pups were so happy staying with Diana. She did a fantastic job caring for them. Our vacation was so enjoyable knowing what good hands our Kane and Kobe were in. Diana sent pictures, walked the pups and showed them so much love. We highly recommend Diana and we will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Nathan and Paula are awesome! They took great care of our 2 dogs, sent frequent photos of them having fun, and provided an awesome and worry-free experience. They were also super willing to take them on short notice, and were flexible with changes in our travel plans. We would highly recommend them for your pet care needs!”

“Teri is wonderful. She took great care of my puppy while I was on a family vacation. Harley, my pup, was only 10 weeks at the time and not fully potty trained or crate trained. Teri worked with him on both and he made a lot of improvement. Teri is professional, caring, and skilled. I highly recommend her. She goes above and beyond. Thanks!”

“We got really jammed up when the person we were expecting to watch our little pom, Bailey, over TG had a medical emergency. A friend told us about Rover. We signed up and found Liv who saved us. Liv was fast to respond, professional, caring and amazing. She took great care of our little Bailey. Which isn't easy. Bailey is a bit high strung. We could tell Bailey was well cared for. Thanks to Liv and Rover we got to see our family in San Jose. We would work with Liv again. Thanks Liv for helping us out.”

“Bridget was absolutely incredible with our boy! She and her family were so kind and caring, and updated us with lots of photos and videos. Our dog unexpectedly fell sick, and she not only immediately notified us, but took him to the emergency vet within minutes. She felt comfortable caring for him at home and he recovered well with her. Our dog became part of the family with her, and we would not hesitate to ask Bridget to watch him again in the future. She is an absolute gem!”

About: I have been a “Dog Mom” for over 20 years. Often having multiple dogs of different sizes and breeds. I have handled deaf dogs- using sign language for commands, bells on door handles for dogs to signal outside time and understanding quiet, calm environments for senior dogs. I currently have no dogs in the house and I miss it so much! I’m excited to help your family any way I can. I’m a stay at home mom with one 9 year old boy who shares in my love for dogs. My child will be at school during the school year. My days are flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m happy to send photos/videos of your fur baby as often as you’d like! I have a small outdoor patio that is partly shaded for those dogs who love a good sun- bathing. Out front there is some grass and I have a leash attached to large tree if they prefer grass time. (I will be outside with them the entire time) I can accommodate crate training at night or snuggle with them in my king size bed! We are an A/C controlled home!!
“Bennie and Jennie could not have been any better. Our cats were quite nervous, as they have never stayed in another place before. Bennie and Jennie were so loving and attentive, the cats warmed up quickly and ended up having a really great time. We would highly recommend!”

“Krystal did an amazing job taking care of Mushu and Mighty Mouse! She kept me updated with pictures, spent quality time playing with them, and made sure their litter boxes were always fresh and clean. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood — dogs, bunnies, horses, and even llamas. I’ve had everything from boxers to Frenchies and chihuahuas, so I’m great with all personalities, from shy pups to big goofy puppies. I genuinely treat every pet like family and focus on creating a loving, safe space while you’re away. I work remotely on an East Coast schedule, so I’m typically finished by early afternoon. This gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. Evenings and weekends are flexible, and I’m able to spend quality time with your dog. I care for pets in your home by following your routine — feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I keep your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for while also keeping your home clean and safe. I send regular photos and updates so you feel confident they’re doing great.
“Daphne is the best. Great communication. A real “pet whisperer” who got our normally reserved cat to show his belly in only one day. And did all the little things that help us pet people relax when we’re away because we know our furry friends are being well taken care of. Highly recommended!!”

“Tala was absolutely incredible! She was communicative from start to finish, sent lots of pictures and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We felt very comfortable having her in our home, and she took amazing care of our little guy!”

About: Hello! My name is Thomas and I'm a long time dog owner. Having grown up with dogs, I'm happy to take care of yours as needed. Having graduated from USC two years ago, I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can work remotely. Throughout the day I often take walks around the peninsula/seashore to get a break from work. I work remotely so I often find myself walking outside to get fresh air as needed. Let me know how I can fit into your schedule! My family has owned a couple different dogs in my lifetime! Happy to help out as needed / provide specific care. I am no stranger to working with dogs who require a certain routine / diet.

“Garrett was amazing. He was patient with my puppy and even was able to put her harness on, of which I couldn’t do without a fuss. Now she sits and lets me put it on no problem. I will definitely hire him again and again. Highly recommended him to anyone.”

“I am very happy with my first experience with Rover and Trey. I will definitely be using him in the near future. Dependable and on time! Very accommodating on very short notice.”

“Mackenzie is awesome! My cat is a little scaredy cat but she really got her out of her shell within the week she watched her. She was a really great communicator with me everyday and left my house looking just as I left it. 10/10 would work with Mackenzie again :)”

About: Dog mom to a 7 yr old golden retriever and active therapy dog volunteer. Years of experience pet sitting and a lifelong love of dogs. I work full remote Monday-Friday. I also live an active lifestyle outside of work hours, consisting of multiple walks daily, frequent hikes, beach trips, and trips to the dog park. A typical day with my own dog consists of a morning walk/breakfast and a lunch time walk. After work, we like to get our exercise in by going for a hike, long walk, fetch, dog park, beach, etc. Then come home for dinner and cuddles. Since I work from home in a small apartment, I am always aware and attentive to what is going on. I have a dog of my own, so frequent walks and potty breaks for him are built into my work schedule. I have an extremely flexible work schedule, making me always available for your pets needs.

About: I’m the kind of person who greets the dog before the human. Hi! My name is Amerys, but you can just call me Am and your furry family can call me “woof”. ☺️ I have my own wonderful pups and kitties, have worked in a veterinary hospital, dog boarding facility and have been walking and caring for dogs for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly love. Whether your pup loves long walks, slow sniff-filled adventures, energetic games of fetch, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m happy to match their pace and personality. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of positive attention. No breed is too big or too small, I enjoy getting to know every dog’s unique personality and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family, making sure they feel loved and secure while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a neighborhood walk, or keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they get the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and earning the approval of your four-legged best friend! 🐾 I’m currently in online graduate school for pharmacy, so I complete my coursework from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to be available throughout the day and night and provide attentive, around-the-clock care for your pet. Your pet will not be left alone for long periods, and I can easily accommodate regular walks, frequent potty breaks, feeding schedules, medication times, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of individual attention. Because I am home most of the time, I can closely monitor your pet’s behavior, appetite, energy level, bathroom habits, and overall comfort. I understand that being away from their family can sometimes make pets anxious, so I do everything possible to keep their routine familiar, calm, and comforting. Whether your pet enjoys staying active, relaxing beside me while I study, sleeping in my bed, or simply having someone nearby, I will adjust my day around their individual personality and needs. When your pet stays with me, they are treated like a member of my family—not simply another booking. Their safety, comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, allergies, walking routines, sleeping arrangements, behavioral needs, and any household rules you would like maintained. I am also happy to continue any training commands or routines you use at home so your pet has as much consistency as possible. I am home most of the day because I attend graduate school online, which means I can provide frequent supervision and around-the-clock care. Your pet will receive regular potty breaks, walks based on their age and energy level, fresh water, meals served on schedule, playtime, affection, and plenty of opportunities to rest. I never force interaction and allow each pet time to settle in and become comfortable at their own pace. I have my own friendly dog and cat, so I always introduce animals carefully and supervise their interactions. I can provide separate areas when pets need personal space, quiet time, separate feeding, or a slower introduction. If your pet is not comfortable around other animals, I can also care for them in your home through walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I have a good-sized patio with grass for convenient potty breaks and fresh air, while still providing regular walks and exercise. Pets are welcome on my furniture and in my bed, but I also have a crate available when requested by the owner or when it is already part of the pet’s normal routine. I have experience working in a veterinary hospital and have cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and medical needs. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, eating, drinking, bathroom habits, mobility, or energy. In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow your preferred veterinary instructions. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so communication is very important to me. I will provide regular photo and video updates, along with honest information about how your pet is eating, sleeping, playing, and adjusting. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing that your pet is safe, loved, supervised, and receiving the same thoughtful care I would want for my own animals.

I love all dogs and will take care of your dog like they are my own. I currently work from home! I have a dog of my own and she is very chill with other dogs. Because I have my own dog, she is fully incorporated into my daily routine. I usually don’t leave the house more than once a day and it’s usually for 2-3 hours max. I go on one to two walks a day depending on my work schedule but that can be adjusted to your dogs needs. I have a fenced in backyard that my dog loves to hang out in. My dog is friendly and is tolerant of other dogs. I keep a very clean home and have plenty of toys around to play with.

About: Since the day I started talking, all I did was ask my parents for a dog. When I turned 9, that dream came true. Buddy was not just a dog, he was an essential part of our family. For fifteen wonderful years we created special memories, inside jokes, nicknames, and an unconditional love from not only us to him but from him to us. In his final years Buddy developed dementia, senior care was never something I had ever put much thought in to. As unfortunate as it is our babies won’t outlive us, giving them the absolute best and most comfortable lives we possibly can is so important. Being a child myself when Buddy came in to our lives, I have true experience with seeing a dog from their first and best days, all the way to the end. These fur babies are just that, our babies, and trusting a stranger with your baby is no small thing! The importance of being not only safe, but loving and kind is something I can always guarantee. The hole that has been left since Buddy left us feels just that much smaller when I get to be around another furry friend 🤍 I work a pretty flexible schedule, I waitress in Newport Beach and am in training to be a Pilates instructor as well. While my schedule does tend to vary, I’m usually in the restaurant Sunday-Wednesday nights with Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays completely off! I live in an apartment, however it is walking distance from the beach and other walking trails. I was raised to leave a place nicer than when you arrived, and between that and my clean freak gene your space will be in good hands! The more instruction for your dog’s routine and information on what will make them happy the better.

About: I have been volunteering at an animal shelter since I was 15, where I walked, fed, cleaned, and played with both dogs and cats every week. Through this experience, I became comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and needs. I’ve also pet sat and walked many dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, and I always make sure animals feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I am currently a full-time student at UCLA, but I usually only have one class a day so I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets! I am available for walking everyday, and available for drop-ins everyday except Tuesday and Wednesday. When caring for pets in their homes, I focus on keeping their routines consistent so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while also keeping their space clean and respecting each owner’s instructions and preferences.
“Lily has been an amazing help taking care of our dog. Our dog always gets excited when she comes over and she sends the BEST photos of him having a blast during their walk. I had a few schedule changes on my end and Lily was extremely flexible and responsive. Lily is awesome and I’ll continue to have her walk my pup in the future.”

“Ashley has been wonderful with Brandy! She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. I really appreciate the detailed notes and photo updates after every walk. It’s so reassuring to see how Brandy did and know he’s in such great hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker!”

On summer break, so I'm home full-time. Daily walks, play, belly rubs, and photo updates. I'll follow your routine and love your dog like my own. I'm currently on summer break before my CNA program starts, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine. I'm home full-time and available throughout the day for walks, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles. Your dog gets constant companionship, not just drop-in visits. I treat every client's home with respect. I clean up after myself, follow your house rules, and make sure your dog is safe and comfortable at all times. I'm attentive to food allergies, dietary restrictions, and any quirks your dog has. I always use secure leashes and harnesses during walks and keep your dog's routine consistent so they feel at ease while you're away. I send daily photo updates for peace of mind.
“Trey was awesome! He was always on time, easy to communicate with, and flexible when my plans had changed. Our pup was in great hands and always got a good walk in when they were together. I’d recommend Trey to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker.”

About: Hi there! I'm Kaimon. An easygoing, calm, and patience dog lover that looks forward to getting your pups outside for some exercise, fresh air, or just a solid sniff session. I'm quite accustomed to dogs that want to stop and investigate every smell along the way - with two hounds (noses with legs) of my own, a beagle and a coonhound. I'm also no stranger to the power walkers out there, and really just used to pups of all demeanors, shapes, and sizes. Spending some of my free time volunteering with local animal rescues and growing up with dogs my entire life, being around them has naturally become a pretty core part of my life. I’m pretty adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. Whether your dog is playful and social, more cautious and shy, or somewhere in between, I try to make walks feel relaxed, safe, and enjoyable for them. Mostly, I just want owners to feel comfortable knowing their dog is being looked after with patience, attention, and care. Pet care fits best into my weekends and the occasional evening. I work a demanding weekday job, but still make time for reliable, attentive walks. Happy to work with whatever leash, harness, or lead setup your dog is used to. I keep walks safe and comfortable while matching each dog’s pace and personality.
About: Looking for someone to take the best care of your beloved animal. I’m your girl I’ve been caring for pets my entire life. I also volunteer at priceless pets bc I love animals so much ! I’ve owned dogs for over 40 years. My previous Great Dane lived to be 12 years old and we rescued Beauty at 14 months. She is now 5 years old and training to be a service dog. I believe love is the number 1 thing a pet needs and Love is absolutely what I’ll give to your furry family member I’m an entrepreneur. So I work from home most days. Which is ideal If you have a pets whom needs more care or if your dog or cat is anxious or has separation anxiety. I would absolutely keep your home tidy and clean as I don’t sleep well with a mess around me.

Thanks!”

“Laura was an amazing sitter for our dog, Sassy! She took great care of her while my husband and I were on vacation, keeping us updated with plenty of pictures and sweet messages. It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with Sassy, often mentioning how affectionate and cuddly she was. When we picked Sassy up, she was happy, well cared for, and had obviously received lots of love and attention. Laura made sure to keep up with her meals and walks, and we truly appreciated the care she put into looking after her. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter!”

“very experienced dog owner spent time understanding the behavior of our dogs and we had a great meet and greet. Stay with smooth and enjoyed their time there. I’m sure they look forward to staying there again. Thanks a lot!”

“Book Danielle!! She is absolutely amazing and took care of buddy with utmost care while our family was on vacation in the area - she updated me the whole time with pictures, took him on walks every evening and was very attentive to his eating schedule! Love that she also had a sweet dog he could play with. While she did have a cat that buddy was being overly playful with she handled it very well and just kept them in separate areas so they were both well taken care of!! Highly recommend booking Daniel to watch your pup when you’re in the Newport/Huntington beach area - you will feel so calm that he is being well taken care of!”
