“My dog, Bailey, had a great stay with Victoria. She stayed in touch with me assuring me Bailey was fine. I knew she was in good care. No problems, easy to interact with. I would recommend her!!”

“Wendi was able to watch my Bailey last minute when I was in need of a sitter. She was so caring and sweet with him! She shared updates and photos daily which I appreciated a lot! She also gave him his medication daily. I would recommend her and plan to use her again when Bailey and I are in town!”

“Bridget was absolutely incredible with our boy! She and her family were so kind and caring, and updated us with lots of photos and videos. Our dog unexpectedly fell sick, and she not only immediately notified us, but took him to the emergency vet within minutes. She felt comfortable caring for him at home and he recovered well with her. Our dog became part of the family with her, and we would not hesitate to ask Bridget to watch him again in the future. She is an absolute gem!”

“Niko had a fantastic stay with Roxy! He had some separation anxiety but Roxy made him feel part of her family and at home right away. Roxy’s patience, affection and understanding of Niko was beyond expectation and I’m SO grateful to have met her to help me occasionally with Niko’s care. I received pictures and feedback of his day and had no issue with communication. Roxy was flexible to my timeline and her place was in pristine condition. A wonderful and interesting person who knows and understands dogs of all breeds. Thank you again for having Niko to enable me to spend time away. Thank you for making him feel right at home 💕”

“Connie is such a compassionate, caring person, and she truly goes the extra mile when caring for our pup.❤️ We have a senior dog, who requires some extra affection and care, and Connie has gone above and beyond each time she watches her. We are so thankful! Since our pup cannot tolerate treats, Connie was so thoughtful to make little treats from her special dog food. She kept us updated throughout the week our dog stayed with her, sending us pictures and letting us know how our girl was doing. Your dog will be in the BEST care with Connie, she is truly amazing and cares for your animal like her own.💕 Thank you, Connie!”

“Bennie and Jennie always let me know how my best friend is doing! They are wonderful with my cat and I take comfort in knowing that my pet is with them while I'm away!”

“Kalvin and Joy were great! They were very communicative during the course of Dima’s stay, and they provided plenty of pictures and updates to put us at ease! Dima came home to us looking very happy and tuckered out from all the play time. I would definitely trust them with looking after Dima again!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and truly enjoy caring for them. Whether it’s playing with an energetic puppy, taking a high-energy dog for a run, or going for a slow, gentle walk with a senior dog, I always adapt to their needs. I feel fortunate to be on Rover, as my flexible hybrid job allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet. My goal is to make every pup feel happy, loved, and completely at ease. Pet care fits into my routine by allowing flexibility around my remote work schedule. On the days I work remotely, I can easily accommodate midday check-ins, walks, or runs for dogs. On weekends, I’m fully available for longer walks, playtime, or extended check-ins, ensuring pets get the attention and exercise they need. As a dog walker and provider of at-home check-ins, I ensure that dogs get regular exercise, bathroom breaks, and playtime according to their individual needs. During check-ins, I make sure they have fresh water, a clean living space, and monitor their well-being. I also send updates to their owners to keep them informed and reassured.
“Rachel was excellent. My dog loved her! She was so great in decreasing my pup's anxiety and nervousness! She sent me great pics and videos so I knew my pup was adjusting. I would 100 percent reccomend her!”

We have a big, fully fenced-in back yard, as well as a nice neighborhood for walks. I am home all day and am able to accommodate anything your dog needs. I have a very flexible schedule and am able to accommodate both daytime care as well as multi-night overnight boarding with full availability with advanced notice. We have a fully-fenced in back yard as well as a clean home for your dog to feel comfortable while you are away. We also have a very friendly 2.5 year old male English Lab to be a playmate and keep your dog company.
“Im so glad we found them. They took such good care of our Lola. Sent us alot of updates of her. And in the pictures i could see that she was really enjoying herself. When we come again to California we will definitely keep them in mind.”

“Annie is amazing and so good with our dog. We’ve never left our pets with anyone and she made us feel at ease and comfortable leaving him with someone we trust. Also takes great action shots of our boy.”

“Bani is absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Cash and treated him like her own baby. I felt completely secure and comfortable having him board with her, even for a couple of weeks. She and her family were so attentive, loving, and patient with him. I really appreciated the daily photo updates, they always gave me peace of mind and made me smile. I highly recommend Bani to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Cash can’t wait to visit again!”

“So sweet! Very nice couple and their dog is adorable and well behaved also. Avery had a great time! They even sent him home with a really cute photo of himself. I can’t say enough good things and I will definitely use her again.”

“I always worry about leaving my now 4-yr old shih tzu who is temperamental and has separation anxiety in another’s care. Saewon and her family accepted my Oslo with no hesitation. They sent me text updates, pix and videos that re-assured me my boy was in good hands. Gamsahamnida (thank you) Saewon and Ian for welcoming and taking good care of Oslo! ‘Til next time!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Newport Coast
Nicole was such an amazing sitter and hands-down would use her services again. She communicated very well and she was able to extend my dog appointment for another day, which is very appreciative. She sent over videos and photos and kept me up-to-date on the well-being of my dog and I knew she really loved animals to the core.
Deborah was wonderful with our dog, Benji! This was our first time having Deborah watch him, and she made the entire experience stress-free. She sent us regular updates and photos throughout our 9-day trip, which gave us great peace of mind. When we picked Benji up, he was happy, relaxed, and it was obvious he had been well cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be using Deborah again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter.

Kona had a fantastic time with Ryan, Marianna, and Remy - she was completely spoiled. We had many photo updates daily over our trip and could tell she was enjoying her stay. She loved playing with Remy and got outside for a lot of walks. She can’t wait to go back for another visit!

Paige watched our 2 doggies for us when we were in the hospital having our baby. She was so amazing. Great communication, lots of pictures and followed all our instructions to a T. She made what was a stressful time in our lives, the easiest thing for us while we were away. 10/10 recommend her! Will be using her again.

Nick was absolutely amazing with our dog! From the very beginning, he made everything so easy by picking him up, which gave us such peace of mind. Throughout the stay, Nick provided excellent care and treated our pup like his own. We came home to a happy, well-loved, and relaxed dog—which says it all! Communication was smooth, professional, and thoughtful, and we felt reassured the entire time knowing our dog was in such good hands. We can’t recommend Nick highly enough and will definitely be booking with him again!

Mina did an excellent job stepping in when my other sitter fell through and left a mess behind! She took Bella to the vet and was able to administer meds most days. She was very responsive and helped nurse Bella back to good health while I was out of the country which prevented me from having to cut my trip short. I’m grateful. The only thing that could have been a little better is if she helped clean the mess the old sitter left behind. Taking the garbage out would have been key so bugs/maggots didn’t grow and letting me know the carpet was so soiled by the prior sitter should be thrown out as the entire apartment smelled like urine and feces from the prior sitter not cleaning up or taking her out properly. It was a difficult situation but she made the best of it! Other than that she did a great job!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
