I grew up in a dog friendly family. From my cousins big Labs and Rottweilers to my little chihuahua Nacho I have great experience taking care of all kinds. I have also dog sat before outside of my family for a family I also babysat for. This family had a puppy, so I know exactly what to expect if you want me to watch your puppy! Pee on the floor, chaotic jumping and biting, strong pulling on the leash (if they're a bigger dog), you name it! Originally from NY, living in California now, I greatly miss my little chihuahua at home, so I promise your dog will do more for me than I will for them! Please take me into consideration on your search for a dog caretaker! I am very responsible and will make sure they are safe and have a fun time ❤️ to clarify as well, my dog (Nacho this chihuahua) lives in NY with my family! I do not have any dogs here living with me.

Schedule
I work remote for a ad agency from my beautiful apartment in Newport Beach, so I will be always around during the week to fulfill any last minute requests and watch your dog. The apartment complex has a nice walking path and is very dog friendly.

Safety, trust & environment
I have no problem with your dog laying on my furniture/ my bed if they want to rest or sleep. My apartment is a 1 bedroom and I am all for letting the dogs roam around freely and explore. With this, I am obviously very cautious at all times about what is on the floor/ what they could get in their mouth. My apartment is very clean! If you are more comfortable with your dog having less room to roam in my house, I can shut the bathroom and bedroom door so they are in the same space as me at all times. And yes, no matter how tired I am I will 100% get up in the middle of the night if your dog has to go! (Please let me know if your dog knows how to use wee wee pads though!) I will be very responsible with your dog when walking outside, especially when other dogs are near (I may even turn around or pick them up depending if your dog is not good with other dogs). I will NEVER take them off the leash, and I'll always make sure they are securely strapped before going outside with them.

A typical day
If you bring little toys/ tennis balls, I can definitely play with your dog! Like I said earlier, I live in a really pretty complex and by the beautiful UC Irvine campus and Arroyo Park which will be perfect for long (or short) walks and great exercise for your dog (: I have a very comfy couch and blankets so that your dog has a great space to cuddle and take naps/ sleep.
