❤️ Your Dog’s Home Away ❤️ 🐾🐾
Over the years, my husband, Jon, and I have raised two wonderful sons and shared our home with many beloved dogs. Most recently, we had our precious Sky Terrier, Rodney, and our Chihuahua, Bear (pictured in my first photo). While we don’t currently have dogs of our own because we love to travel, opening our home to your pups has become the perfect way to continue doing what we love most. After caring for nearly 200+ families and earning 5-star reviews, I know how important it is to provide not only exceptional care for your dog, but also peace of mind for you. I’ll send lots of updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m a retired hairstylist and now care for dogs full-time. My husband also works from home most of the week, so there’s usually someone here with your pup. We’re very flexible with our schedule and genuinely love having dogs in our home. I understand every dog is different. Some are confident and social, while others need a little extra reassurance when they’re away from home. My goal is always to help them feel safe, relaxed, and loved from the moment they arrive. We have a beautiful fenced patio with turf, a wonderful dog run in our complex, and we’re surrounded by great walking paths. We enjoy neighborhood walks, trips to the beach, visits to local parks, and, of course, lots of playtime and snuggle time—always with your permission and your dog’s comfort in mind. Our mornings usually start with a nice walk around the complex for potty time, followed by breakfast while I enjoy my morning tea. I go to Pilates most mornings for about 1½ to 2 hours, and during that time my husband is usually home with our furry guests. Throughout the day we take plenty of potty breaks, walks, and time to relax together. If your dog enjoys adventures, we’re happy to include them in our outings whenever appropriate and approved by you. If they’re happiest cuddling on the couch or relaxing at home, that’s exactly what we’ll do instead! Above all, your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I carefully introduce dogs to new environments and other dogs only when appropriate, and I always follow your routines, preferences, and instructions. We have extra dog beds available, but many pups feel most comfortable with something from home, like their favorite blanket or bed. Dogs are welcome on our furniture—and even our bed if that’s what they’re used to! We want them to feel as comfortable here as they do in their own home. My goal is simple: to treat every dog as if they were one of our own—with lots of love, attention, exercise, cuddles, and personalized care. I know how hard it is to leave your best friend behind, and I promise to care for them just as I would my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your sweet pup! ❤️🐾

Wendi was wonderful with our dog, Daisy! From the moment we met her, I could tell she genuinely loves animals, which immediately put me & my kids at ease. Daisy stayed with her for a week, and Wendi kept us updated with lots of adorable photos and messages. When our flight was delayed by a day, she was incredibly flexible and happy to keep Daisy an extra night, which was such a relief. We felt completely confident that Daisy was in great hands, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Wendi again!
Wendi and her husband were incredible from start to finish. Not only did she set up a meet and greet for us, she provided excellent communication, multiple photos and wonderful care for our dog. She has such a warm demeanor, and I know that my dog was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. We will definitely be booking again :)

Wendi and her family are outright amazing. I was in a crunch to say the least. One day before my daughter's wedding and our sitter was unable to help out, by no fault. So off to the races we went looking for someone to get in the zero hour. I was never familiar or aware of the Rover app until this moment. I did a general search for 5-star rating sitters and there popped up Wendi. I did some review of her reviews and I thought, well this could be to good to be true, but its worth every chance at this point. For us doggy owners, we can relate, our doggers are our family and leaving them with new sitters can be stressful. However, moving on, I downloaded the APP and there was Wendi's profile. I could tell from the start that this profile was in depth and written with care. It was as if she wants all of us to know how passionate she is in what she does. I reached out to Wendi and within minutes she responded. I couldn't believe it, she had availability! Quickly we set a few things up and the next morning we met Wendi and her wonderful family. Her husband and grandkids were such a pleasure. We were invited to see inside her home where our little ones would be staying. Wendi was awesome and provided such attention and care to our doggers! While we were away she stayed in touch with pictures and text. Making sure she cared for each character of our 3, yes 3 lil ones. Everything Wendi promised was delivered to a T, no catch, just genuine care and compassion. We are so thankful for her and her family, what a great experience. Hands down, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wendi's service. She definitely is worth 100 stars and we WILL be using our new sitter moving forward. Thanks again Wendi ! Schedule
Caring for dogs has become my full-time job—and truly one of my greatest joys. Since I’m retired, I’m home most of the day, and my husband also works from home most of the week. Your pup won’t just be watched—they’ll be part of our daily routine, enjoying walks, playtime, cuddle time, and lots of love while you’re away.

Your dog becomes part of our family while they’re with us. We provide lots of walks, potty breaks, playtime, belly rubs, and cuddle time. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and even our bed if that’s what they’re used to. We always follow your feeding schedule, routines, and preferences because we know every dog is different. Our goal is simple: for your pup to feel safe, loved, and completely at home until you’re back together.
A typical day
Every day is tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level. We enjoy neighborhood walks throughout the day, especially an evening walk to help everyone wind down before dinner. For our more energetic guests, there’s a beautiful park just across the street where we can play fetch, explore, and burn off some energy. If your dog enjoys adventures and you approve, we love taking walks to Balboa Island, where we can relax outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery together. For our older pups or those who prefer a slower pace, we’re happy to take it easy with shorter walks, lots of cuddle time, and plenty of relaxation. We simply follow your dog’s lead to make sure they have the best stay possible.
