My name is Portia and I have been an animal lover all my life--now it's time for me to love on yours! I used to be a veterinary technician, so if they are in need of medication you needn't worry about someone tackling that task. I enjoy all types of animals, small or large. I've been caring for other's pets for 12 years, but have had fur babies all my life. My clients mean the world to me. They're my extended furry family. When working in the veterinary field I saw so many pets board and so few of them were truly comfortable. They don't what's going on, so many different sights and sounds, and most importantly no you. While I may not be you, I can help provide a calm and fun buddy in their home. Being in their environment is so important which is why I like to offer custom in-home pet care. On top of super awesome overnight snuggles I offer good 'ol fashion walks, potty breaks, and hang outs. *Requests under 24hr notice will not be accepted for new clients. This does not provide time for a proper meet and greet.

Portia was great as always! This was a longer trip, and we asked that she drop by 2x a day. Good thing, since our kitten decided to pee on the blankets on the couch one day. After letting us know of the chaos, she arranged the couch so kitten wouldn't keep peeing there and washed the blankets. So in addition to great communication (and adorable photos of the kitten), she's great at handling talkative cats that like to cause trouble. We've previously booked her before now and would absolutely book her again.
Portia gave so much love to both of my cats 🥰 She gave my older one her daily meds with no problem! Will be rebooking in the future <3
We love having Portia watch our sassy kitten. She's been great at dropping in, scooping as needed, and corralling the chaos that may occur due to our cat. Would definitely recommend :)
Portia was the perfect person for our senior dog coco. She was attentive, listened to our laundry list of items for our senior baby, and made sure to check in with us frequently. It was our first experience hiring a sitter for our Coco and we’re so glad Portia was there. She made us feel comfortable, safe, and most importantly, that our dog was in great hands.

Portia is great with cats. She did everything I asked and gave me regular updates and photos allowing me to feel comfortable knowing my senior cat was in good hands. I will definitely use Portia next time I travel.

Schedule
Caring for your fur babies is my full time job, they will always get my undivided attention when I am with them. I just ask for 24 hour notice for booking requests.
