Vet. Student Animal Lover!
I recently graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Animal Science and will be starting veterinary school at The Ohio State University this fall! Animals have always been my passion, and over the past several years I’ve gained hands on experience working in veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, and boarding facilities. I currently work as a veterinary assistant and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Working with animals professionally has taught me how to safely handle nervous, fearful, energetic, and senior pets while making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building a relationship with them. As a future veterinarian, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family members. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I will make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and detail oriented. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in experienced and caring hands! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

My dog at home free roams all around the house, but I know how to work alongside with dogs who need to be in crates or other environments. I've worked and volunteered in boarding facilities and animal shelters in my past, so I know how to care for all pets!

Highly Recommend Heather! Heather was absolutely fantastic with my pup! She is incredibly reliable, punctual, and communicative. I loved getting her updates and photos while I was away, which gave me total peace of mind. You can tell she truly loves animals and treats them like her own. She is also starting Vet school in the fall. How great is that!? I will definitely be booking her again!
Heather checked in on my kitties over my 4 day vacation and I could not be happier with how she took care of them. She was great with communication throughout and shared great photos/overview of each visit. Her experience with animals definitely shows in her interactions with pets and I feel truly at ease knowing my kitties are in great hands with her. :)
Heather was so amazing with Milo while house sitting! Very reliable and communicative throughout the weekend. She took Milo to the dog park in our complex everyday to get his energy out and followed all our instructions carefully! Milo can’t wait to see her again :)
