About: I love love love puppies, dogs of any age, shape, breed or form! I love to see the smile on their faces when they are taken care of and loved properly. I believe in feeding them as clean as we eat so they can live long and healthy life. I currently work from home a couple hours a day so my pet is supervised by me in a very peaceful environment. Spoiled with attention, yummy foods and treats! Pet boarding will include but not limited to : morning feeding followed by 15 min walks. Playtime in the backyard with similar sized doggies (doggy day care). Naps & snacks. Evening feeding following another 15 min walk. Probiotic yogurt w banana and peanut butter for dessert. Cuddles & bedtime! Cleanliness : food and water bowls are cleaned daily. Floors in my home are mopped daily. Backyard is cleaned nightly. I have a decent sized, secured, nice garden with plenty of space to roam and go potty in my backyard. I have a playful Shiba Inu to accommodate your fur baby with lots of toys! She is very shy initially, but after a few hours she warms up! 🐕 I got her as a gift since she was a baby. When we got her home we didn’t know she was sick, with a cough. I took care of her and stayed by her side until she got better, now she has grown back all of her fur and very healthy. And I truly believe it’s because of good nutrition!
About: I enjoy spending lots of time playing, walking and even a little training. I have also had senior dogs that need a little extra care and attention. I am recently unemployed and have lots of time available. I would love nothing more than to help as many pets/pet parents as I can. Dogs can enjoy lots of play time and walks as well as maybe a little place time and snacks. I have had senior dogs as well that just need some down time and cuddles. I have a big fenced in backyard that allows for lots of playtime or maybe some rest in the shade.
About: Back after a 2 year rover hiatus so response percentages may be reflecting of when I was not active :) After volunteering throughout high school at my local shelter, I finally got my foot in the animal industry beginning 2014! It started with dog sitting, as a way to enjoy dogs without the commitment of owning. But it quickly turned into something I cherished. I became a top sitter in the county at the time, and left my job as a hair stylist to pursue this full time. I trialed a lot of things such as grooming, vet assistant, and behavior analysts for a local shelter. I took a few years off during my pregnancies and in that time instead began my education to become a dog trainer. I am now a full time professional working dog and pet dog trainer and love what I do. So why not make some room and allow for some pet boards so you can rest easy knowing your dog is in a safe, structured, and experienced environment? I am primarily working from inside the home however 1-3 days of the week I work out of my home for quick jobs, majority of which is all very pet friendly. The times I am away from the home is very brief and monitored with cameras throughout my residence and secured dog spaces with kennels (non-wired for safety) provided. If anything needs my attention urgently I have hands nearby to come check for me. Because of my knowledge I am comfortable watching dogs that even may have high behavioral needs. I book dogs together based off temperament to ensure all the dogs get a positive experience rather than having too much variance at a time increasing risk of fights or anxiety. Often I only have one additional dog or family of dogs! It all just depends on what I feel is safe and comfortable for the group! My home is properly disinfected and sanitized between each and every boarder including the kennels to ensure a safe environment for all pups from puppies to seniors. I have two very well mannered kids half the week that have been raised by their dog trainer mom so generally just ignore dogs and don’t pay much attention unless asked permission! So whether your dog likes space or loves attention there is enough love (or impulse control) to go around! My home is a quaint little townhome nestled in the north end of Huntington Beach! A small fenced patio for emergency potty breaks or morning coffee together that doesn’t lead to streets or have opening gates. Our neighborhood has a shared gated 1.5 acre field for the dogs to enjoy daily! I have many sizes of long lines to ensure they can feel free, roam, and run with still the safety of a leash attached to me at all times. While yes I have two cats don’t worry! Your dog not cat safe? They can comfortably remain upstairs during your dogs stay (they don’t mind!).
About: I’ve watched all my families pets, friends pets (including snakes, spiders, guinea pigs & more!) and I have 3 of my own. My love and care for them never runs out & they deserve nothing but the best! I am more of an afternoon person, but morning visits won’t be a problem! I am currently unemployed so I am available at all times of the day until I start school again. My pets go on 3-4 walks a day, weekly park or beach visits, & I make my own topper for them according to their allergies.
“I am new to Rover and Annalie was the first dog walker I booked. She is prompt, kind, & polite. Sulu was comfortable with her right away. I will definitely book with her again when needed in the future!”

“Ivi is the absolute best! She cares for your dog, as if they are her own. That’s hard to find! She consistently would walk Koda longer just because he was having fun. She communicated every detail and sent lots of pictures. She even bought him a cooling collar for a super hot day. She’s super flexible and was available last minute. My family is relocating and I wish I could take Ivi with us. I never had to worry when I left for work because I knew Ivi would take care of my dog. Ivi was the perfect dog walker and I can’t thank her enough for taking care of my pup.”

“Very happy with Quang’s service. I contacted him last second to walk my dog, as I couldn’t that day, and he came through with little notice. He seemed to do a great job handling my Jake, who is very reactive and energetic.”

About: I'll care for your dog as if they are my own. I have a senior doggo and also have recent experience with an energetic puppy. I love all dogs! I work from home all week and my schedule is somewhat flexible. I’ll be able to care for your dog and provide attention as needed. I live in a small, cozy apartment and it's very dog-friendly. It’s easy to go on nice walks and meet other dogs if your dog is social. My dog has a spare bed and dogs are allowed on my couch and bed. To be honest, my dog basically owns the home and he welcomes other furry friends to share the space.
About: I had a people aggressive dog. So I’ve learned a lot with her these past 8 years. But also Im natural caretaker so very patient! Right now on summer break looking for new position. So my schedule is pretty flexible now until I find a full time position and then I can see where dog walking fits My dog had behavior issues so I am very good with all tempers and I am very patient. About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely understands that your dog isn’t “just a pet” they’re family, routine, and emotional security all in one. I specialize in safe, structured, and attentive walks that match your dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog is high energy and needs to burn it out, or more relaxed and prefers a slower pace, I adjust every walk accordingly. I’m extremely reliable, communicative, and detail-focused meaning you’ll always know: When your dog was walked How they behaved Any changes I notice (energy, mood, appetite, etc.) I don’t just “walk dogs.” I observe, adapt, and care — so you can feel fully at ease while you’re away. Comfortable with different temperaments (shy, reactive, high-energy) Strong attention to safety (leash control, surroundings, consistency) Respect your routines and instructions exactly Quick updates + photos after walks Calm, patient, and dependable energy I understand that hiring someone for your dog requires trust, not just availability. My goal is to become someone both you and your dog feel comfortable with long-term not just a one-time walker. If you’re looking for someone who is consistent, attentive, and genuinely cares about your dog’s well-being, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m happy to meet and make sure it’s the right fit. Hiring a pet sitter you trust that your dog loves only to lose or see they are overbooked is annoying. I run my own business so I have a lot of availability and reliability. I currently own my own sound healing and reiki business and I make candles and oils and I work from home. I also do part time web design. I am responsible, detail oriented and I will prioritize your pets safety at all times and provide pictures and transparency. I am a great communicator and will make sure your pet feels safe & cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Midway City
Nadine is amazing! This was our first time using Rover and we searched for a reliable dog walker and picked Nadine. Nadine was reliable, committed and communicative. She was on time and took photos of our boy on every walk so we could see how he was doing. Will definitely have Nadine come back again to watch our boy. Thanks Nadine! We’re so grateful!

Isaacia was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond what we asked of her and made sure everything ran smoothly without a single issue (and we were gone for a quite a while). Her communication was really good and she provided updates and pictures, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. She handled the loud 4th of July fireworks to keep our dogs inside before things got really loud. She was very reliable from the first meet up, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!!
Ivi has been great with my dog, Rocky. She’s very communicative and shares a lot of updates about Rocky during their walk. I appreciate her flexibility and open communication! Rocky can be a bit of a handful (very energetic) and she’s been able to manage walking him while handling a stroller.

Paloma is an absolutely amazing dog walker! I loved all the photos and videos she shared — it gave me such peace of mind knowing Chance was in great hands while I was away. He can be a little stubborn on walks since he likes to go his own way, but Paloma handled him effortlessly and made it look easy. I couldn’t be happier with the care she gave!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
