About: I was that kid at the family party that asks to see your pets and hangs out with them the rest of the night. I’ve grown up around cats, dogs and various other pets. I trained my family dogs from puppies, and have experience working with both small and large breeds. My family had a German Shorthair Pointer with epilepsy that started after he turned 4. To manage it, I helped administer medication every 12 hours for 8 years. I am familiar with administering oral medications. With my job currently being on summer break, I typically go on walks with my own dogs in evenings, but have time throughout the day to drop by for a visit. Every creature deserves to be treated with respect, kindness and understanding, my pets are no exception. They’re my family, and I want them to have the best care possible - good snacks, plenty of love and affection, physical and mental exercise, and consistent rules and expectations. When I watch other people’s pets, I want to ensure that they feel loved, cared for and safe - whether that looks like cuddling up and being cozy or simply keeping my distance and sharing in the same space with them while I take care of them.
About: I’ve grown up in a dog loving family, from having as many as 5 dogs to being a single dog fam for a while. Always been a sucker for big dogs as i've owned alaskan malamutes, bernese mountain dogs and currently have a newfoundland. i also have had breeds like corgis and pom pom mixes and currently have a pitbull bull terrier mix & a shepsky as well! i’ve cared for neighbors smaller breeds while they’re out of town taking them on walks, feeding and just hanging out with them for periods of time. The longest i’d be gone at any point in time would be 3-4 hours with a heads up as I care for my dogs as well! 😁 If thats an issue please reach out to me and we can figure something out that works best for everyone! always make sure doors and gates are closed/ secured when they’re supposed to be, i’m a very attentive and detail oriented person so I like making sure everything is as it’s supposed to be! About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for my entire life. I also spent about a year volunteering at a veterinary clinic when I was in high school. I work full time, but have time in the early mornings around 6am-6:30am as well as 4:30pm or later during the week. On the weekends I have very much open availability. One thing that really stood out was how relaxed and comfortable our dogs were in her care. Typically, when we travel and leave them with others, they show signs of stress, such as poor eating habits or irregular bowel movements. This time, neither of those things happened. They were happy, healthy, and completely at ease—it honestly felt like they were on vacation too. She also treated our home with great respect. As a wonderful surprise, she washed bedding and towels without being asked, managed the trash cans on trash day, and left everything clean and organized. Most importantly, we were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our pups were safe, loved, and exceptionally well cared for. Sarah is reliable, thoughtful, communicative, and clearly loves animals. We couldn't recommend her more highly!
Cynthia has pet/house sat for us many times. Every time she has taken excellent care of our pets and this time we have a new dog so there were two dogs of very different ages and energy levels to care for. She was attentive to each one and took great care of our house, too. She is a great sitter and is highly recommended.
We loved Alicia. Freya was very happy and enjoyed her time. How do I know? From pictures and how happy she was when I got home. Alicia understood to not be put off by her initial barking and got to know Freya at her pace and after the initial meeting, Freya warmed right up. Grace was amazing! We always get nervous when booking through rover because we know our dog can be a handful at times. Grace was very reassuring of her positive spirit and enjoyment spending time with our dog.
