Pet care experience

Your furry pet's loving auntie! <3

Hi pet parents! I’m a longtime dog sitter with over 10 years of experience, now happily settled in Huntington Beach and excited to continue building lasting relationships with Orange County families. I live with my boyfriend Fernando in a four bedroom-one story home with a fully enclosed backyard. Our biggest joy is giving your dog an extended home — a place that feels like going to auntie’s house: safe, cozy, fun, and full of love. We spend our days cuddling on the couch during movie time, playing chase and fetch in the yard, and enjoying calm (or energetic) walks around our spacious, quiet neighborhood. I work from home editing videos, so I’m around throughout the day — and I love that having dogs here gives me a reason to stretch, move, and take joyful little breaks every now and then. While I’m not able to provide constant 24/7 attention, your pup will always be cared for, in our sight, and included as part of our daily rhythm. This home is best for friendly, social dogs who do well with others. I host up to three dogs at a time (four only if two are from the same family), which allows me to balance work while still giving everyone quality attention. Because I share my home with two roommates who are travelling fro work most of the time, when home, they occasionally take work meetings, so this may not be the best fit for dogs who are still working through severe or frequent barking. For the same reason, pups should be potty trained and not destructive with furniture — I’m always happy to welcome them as training improves and continue practicing their training. Please let me know about any allergies, sensitivities, or triggers, and it’s super helpful if feeding schedules, portions, and notes are kept up to date in your dog’s Rover profile so I can reference them during their stay. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member 🤍

Jessica and Fernando were amazing with my dogs. They kept me updated on them and sent photos while I was away. Highly recommend them and would ask them to watch my dogs again 😊

We are very happy with Jessica! She is very accommodating and allowed us to drop off early and pick up late. She’s communicative and sends constant updates and adorable pictures. I know that my dog is in good hands.

Jessica was excellent! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be more thankful for the experience Jessica gave us. Drop off was easy, she sent us daily updates with pictures and pick up was very easy. We felt like she cared for our pups (4) like they were her own or like we would. It’s hard to leave your dogs with someone you don’t know but thanks to Jessica it was easier.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and intentionally build feeding times, walks, potty breaks, play, and check-ins into my schedule. While I balance work responsibilities, I keep a manageable number of pets so each one gets consistent care, attention, and a calm, safe environment.

Safety, trust & environment

I keep a small group at a time so everyone stays comfortable and gets plenty of attention. I do meet and greets to get to know your doggy's energy and needs so that I can pair them with the right boarding buddies. I have a baby gate so that they can stay in my sight while I'm on the computer and I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. I always appreciate detailed notes on routines, allergies, medications, and anything that helps your pet feel safe and happy.

A typical day

A Typical Day Looks Like This: • Morning walk & breakfast • Midday potty breaks, yard time, play, and plenty of naps (walks adjusted if it’s hot) • Afternoon walk or backyard time • Evening walk & dinner • Nighttime potty break before bed In between, there’s lots of cuddles, fetch, chill time, and hanging out together. I always adjust based on each dog’s routine, energy level, and the weather 😊

Getting to know your pet ahead of time is really important to me. Let's book a meet and greet! Please make sure their Rover profile is up to date with feeding amounts and schedule, allergies, medications, routines, temperament, and anything they like or dislike. The more details you share, the easier it is for me to make their stay feel comfortable, familiar, and stress-free.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
